What’s Still Available at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Fashion
This one-size-fits-all poncho comes in three different colors and will look great over a camisole in early fall. Later this year, when the temperatures drop, I would style it over a turtleneck or long-sleeve tee. I bought this in Olive green last year, and it is so cute, plus it’s soft and comfy!
I love this animal print button-up shirt from Rails! This would be so cute under a blazer for you gurls who still head into the office, but it would be equally cute on your day off, worn with denim.
This crewneck sweater has cute stars all over it! This is a great way to show a little personality with your fall and winter wardrobe.
These mid-summer sales are a great time to refresh your sweater collection at great prices before fall arrives! This Vince V-neck sweater is a wool/cashmere blend and comes in a pretty light blue and dark navy.
Last year, I bought this Short-Sleeve Wool and cashmere sweater in black and burgundy. I have worn both of those several times, so I grabbed it in charcoal and Nile (brownish) this year. There are still some great accessories available, like this Allington Tote that has plenty of room for all your goodies. I also liked these 55mm Gradient Square Sunglasses!!
The NSale is a great time to stock up on quality denim, and there are still plenty of sizes available in these Paige jeans! I thought the flare was a great cut to wear with boots this fall and winter.
Wit & Wisdom is another one of my favorite brands of denim! This pair of bootcut jeans is still available in lots of sizes in both regular and petite sizing.
This stunning red coat came home with me, and I’m already excited to wear it when cold weather arrives! If red isn’t your color, it comes in two other neutral shades! I’m wearing it over an absolutely gorgeous jumpsuit that would be so pretty for a fall or winter wedding.
The Crewneck Raglan Cotton Blend Sweater ended up coming home with me in two different colors. Everyone needs a black sweater, and I also bought one in pink. This is a soft sweater that fits TTS. The jeans are super soft and very stretchy. I ended up sizing down one size in them, and I love how they fit.
This Patch Pocket Button Front Denim Skirt came home with me. I’ve tried a lot of denim skirts over the past year, but this one is my favorite. I love the length; it is not too long or too short, and the fabric is not too stretchy or too stiff.
Shoes
I love using mules as a transition shoe for late summer/early winter when I’m ready to put my sandals away! The open back keeps my feet from getting as hot as they would inside a bootie! This tan one is from Dolce Vita and comes in six additional colors.
Here’s another great transition shoe I eyed that you can start wearing now and continue wearing through the fall, depending on your climate. It has a thick block heel to keep your foot stable. Plus, it’s from Vionic, so you know it’s going to be comfortable to wear.
Speaking of Vionic, I loved this brown bootie, which is included in the sale! It has a sporty wedge paired with a deep heel cup and lots of cushioned support.
If you need to upgrade your walking shoes, this lightweight pair from Ryka is a steal! They are made with a shock-absorbing footbed and lots of arch support. I thought this lilac gray was so cute, but you can also grab them in white or a slate blue.
I really liked this waterproof pair of Blondo booties. They’ll be great for keeping your feet dry on rainy or snowy winter days. The chunky heel didn’t feel unstable or hard to walk in at all!
Vintage and retro-style sneakers are still a big trend. The Retro Court Sneaker (TTS) from Rag & Bone is so pretty and will look great this fall. The color and style will go perfectly with fall colors, and they fit true to size.
If you need a heel, these strappy block heels from Steve Madden are neutral enough to go with everything in your closet. They’re also available in black!
Beauty
I can’t get ready without a good makeup mirror. It’s a must-have for plucking rogue facial hair, LOL! This one from simplehuman can swivel, has 5x magnification, and multiple brightness settings.
The Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eyeshadow Trio is so silky and smooth to apply. I love the matte nude color, and I apply that to my lids. Then, I added the burnished bronze as an eyeliner and above the crease line. After I blended that, I added a tiny amount of the rose gold to my inner eye.
If you struggle with flat hair, I recommend trying a texturizing spray like this one from Oribe. It works great for adding volume, and it can double as a dry shampoo since it works by absorbing oil!
This one is for my gurls who have sparse lashes or overplucked brows! This lash and brows conditioner set from RevitaLash is supposed to help you achieve healthy, thick lashes and brows. It’s normally $211, but it’s discounted to $100 through the end of the sale.
I’ve been using the T3 Airebrush Blow Dry Brush since I got back from Atlanta a week or so ago. I love how much volume this gives me and how it dries and styles at the same time. I don’t wash my hair that often because I have a dry scalp, but I’m using this as a “blowout” styling tool, and it’s working great.
If you are in the market for a hairdryer, this Featherweight StyleMax Dryer has fabulous reviews and is on sale for $70 off!
This might be my favorite purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and that’s saying a lot. I’ve been using Trish McEvoy for a couple of years, but only the Eye Brightening Set. This year, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Makeup Planner which includes a huge amount of items. I did the math, and when I divide the number of items (16), not including the makeup case and small travel case, you’re only paying $17 per product. That is insane for Trish McEvoy products!!!
I use this all the time, so I took advantage of the sale to stock up on it. This is my favorite brow-setting gel, and it holds my brows in place all day.
This is the best faux tanner that I’ve ever used! It gives me the most realistic color, and this is the express version, so it dries quickly. I bought this last year when it was part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I grabbed it again this year.

So many gorgeous finds!!
I’m stuck on the clever and apt phrase: “rogue facial hair” — haha! I love the poncho and those cute Vionic boots!
Love all the sale items posted. I already got the black sweater, all saints tote and the water proof boots. Love them all!!! Your nails color looks amazing. I recently have found out about Isle of palms in South Carolina not far from Charleston. It looks beautiful.
I’ve been there before! It is such a pretty area.
Your nails look gorgeous! My family just returned from Ocean Isle Beach, NC. It’s a smaller area than Myrtle Beach.
Someone mentioned Ocean Isle to me today. They said it was great.
I’m not ready for sweaters yet!
Lol!
I need a couple items, thanks! You are the best keeping us up to date on the sales.
I love your nails, they look great and that is such a bright and happy color, I have a shirt and handbag in that color and describe it as traffic cone orange! The mustard color handbag you show is also beautiful and perfect for transitioning to fall. I purchased my first pair of jogger pants after you modeled them in an earlier Nordstrom post, they are so fun and casual, thank you for all of the great inspiration.
I’m so glad you found something you liked at the Nordstrom Sale. I love nice things, especially when I can get them at a discounted price.
Just ordered a couple items – a couple of ponchos plus some sandals that I found. The ponchos are totally my style! Thanks. 🙂
you look great in sweaters and jeans. I still love the sweater skirt set. I hope you bought it.
I totally agree with Hilton Head. We vacationed there recently and had the best time.
Have you ever gone to Port St. Joe or Cape San Blas in FL? Both are geared more towards adults,so you don’t have all of the kids attractions to deal with. There are some great things still available.
Ginger, we have been looking at Cape San Blas. My son goes there a lot.
Your nails look awesome!
Now you must go to:
Marco Island, Florida!
It is paradise… have been going there for 25 years!
Once you go- you won’t want to go anywhere else!
There is a JW Marriott!!!
Wow! You must love it if you’ve been going that long.
I look forward each morning to your uplifting and informative posts. Thank you for doing the hard work of shopping for the best fashion items for us.
Can you direct me to the outfit you are wearing with the Avani sandal?
Margaret, I’m not sure if the items are still in stock, but you can find the links here: https://liketk.it/4MvPb
Go to Gulf Shores, Alabama. That red coat is beautiful on you.
Thanks Tania, for all the help you give the ladies following you. And you should book a Seaside vacation. If you’re a wine lover you can grab a few bottles while you’re there☺️
The hair dryer brush is sold out. I want one that’s light. Some are really heavy.
I’m having hip replacement surgery on Friday, so my only outings will be to PT for a couple of months. I have bought some cute things to wear to PT! My husband has booked a cruise in October from Boston up to Canada to celebrate my new hip! I’ll be shopping on line for everything I need for the trip!
Meta, I’ve heard that hip surgery isn’t as hard on you as knee surgery. I’m sure you’ll do great. When you feel up to it, let me know how you are doing.
I love all the shoes.
Wow, so many awesome items! I found myself oohing a lot!😊 I loved the poncho, the animal print shirt, and that tote bag! Seriously, I found more to like in this one post than I have in a long time.
Your nails are pretty! When I saw them, I thought she’s going on a beach trip!
Lol! I think I need a beach trip also.
Oolala, that red coat! I would have bought it too! Love that and the Jean skirt. Lots of great items to go check out. Thanks!
Oh my Tania, I could buy 10 plus things off this list right now! I own a pair of the Vionic Chelsea boots from last year in the cognac waterproof suede. I wore them a ton! Boots are my favorite!
Thx for all & pretty color. Go to any beach, I love the beach
If you ever come across the Nic&Zoe zip striped dolman sleeve sweater again- please let us know. I have scoured the internet looking for it with no luck. Love that sweater. Thanks!
I will! Sometimes things are restocked, but not always.
That red coat is gorgeous. Looks so good on you too.
As soon as Joe saw my photo, he said, “that came home with you, didn’t it?” He knows me well. Lol!
I love the short sleeved sweaters and the cashmere poncho you showed. Those would be great for our never quite cool enough fall and winter here in the Houston area. Thanks for the ideas. (I loved all the flip flops and thongs too!)
I love both of those items. They look great!
Any beach will do! These. All look great!
Take your sassy nails and head over to Hilton Head Island. Plenty of beach to walk on and drinks to be had showing off your neon orange beauties. Not to mention the shopping there as well! What a fun and relaxing place to visit.
That sounds like a fun trip.
I recommend coming on down to North Myrtle. You’ve got the beach and shopping. Plus, you can day trip on down to Mt. Pleasant to Nordstrom and if you want a road trip buddy, I’ll go with you! lol
