My Top Tips For Shopping The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Here are just a few quick tips that will make your NSale shopping experience a little better.

• Shop online. Most of you know that I do 90% of my shopping online, and I find it easier with less stress. I travel to Atlanta for this sale so I can grab quick photos for you, but I’ve found that each store carries a different inventory. Online, you’ll have a better chance of getting the item in your size.
• When in doubt, but two sizes. I know this sounds silly, but since Nordstrom has free shipping and returns, you won’t end up paying more. Plus, if you guess the incorrect size, the possibility of your size being sold out is high.
• Try to expedite your order if possible. Once you place your order it is not guaranteed that you’ll get it. Items are pulled from stores, warehouses, etc., and if your item has already sold out in the stores, it will get canceled. All items are not eligible for expedited shipping, which can be frustrating. A hoodie I bought for Joe was canceled this morning because I couldn’t expedite it.
• Remember that there will be restocks and returns. I’ll try to keep you updated as I can on items coming back in stock.
• Lastly, I appreciate it when you shop online through my links. The price is the same for you, but this is how I keep my business going. I earn a small commission from each order. So, when you shop through my blog, please check out before going to another blogger or website. The last click, even if only one, is who will get credit for the sale.

What I’ve Purchase From The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I love a good white tee for a wonderful outfit for a comfortable weekend. They are so versatile and can be dressed up or down. The one in the photo is slightly cropped, but this one look similar.one I paired it with these amazingly soft and flowy Flat Front Straight Leg Pants. If you are between sizes, you’ll want to size down.

The Crewneck Raglan Cotton Blend Sweater ended up coming home with me in two different colors. Everyone needs a black sweater, and I also bought one in pink. This is a soft sweater that fits TTS. I paired it with a light wash Le Easy Flare Raw Hem Jeans and Blondo Waterproof Booties. The jeans are super soft and very stretchy. I ended up sizing down one size in them, and I love how they fit.

Here is the pinkish version. I love the color since it is not overly pink; it is softer and muted.

This elevated casual outfit is my style to a T. If Webster’s Dictionary ever added me to their list, I would want this photo beside my name. Lol! The crop tee is sold out, but any white tee would work for the look. The Mother jeans fit great, and I loved the wide-leg style. I paired them with a pair of Blondo waterproof booties with a chunky heel. I always take advantage of this sale to purchase Mother, Paige, Frame, etc., jeans since they are discounted.

This Callie Sheer Knit Cotton Top, is one of my favorite purchases from the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The top is slighlty oversized, so I also tried a small. However, I liked the oversized look, so I bought the medium. The top has already sold out in both colors, but I found one on Amazon that looks almost identical. I have it on order, and I’ll let you know what I think once it arrives.

Last year, I bought this Short-Sleeve Wool and cashmere sweater in black and burgundy. I have worn both of those several times, so I grabbed the charcoal this year. I thought it looked great with the Allington Tote and Celine Square Sunglasses. Even though I loved the sunglasses, I didn’t buy them.

I loved this bright red Double-Breasted Coat, but I have so many coats that I didn’t need another one. I checked out and went to lunch, but the coat was still on my mind. After we ate, guess who went back and bought the coat? Haha! I just couldn’t leave it in the store, and I’m so happy it came home with me.

I found a couple of gorgeous fall dresses/skirts. This sweater set (sold separately) is a great neutral. The cropped cardigan will look great with jeans, and I could wear the skirt with the white crop tee and a denim jacket.

Since I bought a white t-shirt from AllSaints, I left this one in the store, but the Patch Pocket Button Front Denim Skirt came home with me. I’ve tried a lot of denim skirts over the past year, but this one is my favorite. I love the length; it is not too long or too short, and the fabric is not too stretchy or too stiff.

I always buy one or two cashmere sweaters during the NSale, and this year I bought this gorgeous agua green Crewneck Cashmere Sweater. Unfortunately, this color has sold out, but the sweater is still available in a versatile neutral tan.

The Asha Oversize Mock Neck Sweater is a great pinkish color, and I love the way it fits. If the neck had been slightly less high, this sweater would have come home with me. It fits great, but since the neckline was so high, I ended up leaving it in the store.

What I Have On Order From The 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

I’m really excited about the Longchamp Expandable Recycled Nylon Tote. I used to have a tote like this, which I think my daughter now has, and it was so convenient for traveling. I could carry it as a handbag and then expand it for a dirty laundry bag after the trip.

I am also looking forward to getting the Croc-embossed Kitten Heel Knee High Boot in green moss. The mossy green color is out of my comfort zone, but I love the look of them, and I can’t wait for them to arrive to see how I will wear them.

I ordered several neutral-colored shoes since that is what I usually wear. I’m hoping the Dolce Vita Loafer Mule fits because they will be a perfect fall transition shoe. Plus, the Sam Edelman Knee High Boot and the Vince Camuto dark brown suede Knee High Boots are perfect for all the upcoming fall fashions.

Every year, I buy several Barefoot Dreams items that are on sale. This year, I’ve ordered the Ultra Lite^® Knit Pajamas in the feather color. I love wearing Barefoot Dream items as loungewear, but I doubt that I’ll sleep in these.
