WEARING MY HEART ON MY CHEST WITH A CUTE VALENTINE’S DAY T-SHIRT
I am not wearing my heart on my sleeve; it is on my chest. Lol! This photo makes me want to go back to the beach. It was so quiet and relaxing while we were there. I went with Joe yesterday to Bristol Tennessee. He had a meeting to attend, and he wanted to prepare before he went in, so I drove and let him study. Bristol is about two hours from our house, and it was snowing so I drove slow. Thankfully, the snow wasn’t sticking to the road, and it made the drive beautiful.
When we got to the Interstate, I asked Joe what time his appointment was because I thought he might need something to eat before he went. He took out his phone to check the time, and he said the appointment is at 1:00 pm on the 31st. I laughed and said, quit teasing me, I am not falling for that. He looked at me and said that he wasn’t kidding, it was 1:00 pm on the 31st. Then he asked me what the date was. Lol! You should have seen his face when I said, “It is the 29th!” #seniormoment We both got a good chuckle from his mistake until we realized that we have to go back again on Thursday. At least we got to go and have a good lunch at Outback before we went back home. 
Valentine’s Day T-Shirt
Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it, so I wanted to remind you to start looking for a cute outfit to wear. I know that some of you might not like wearing red, and this is a good example of how you can still look festive and still wear a color that is not so loud. I bought this sequined heart sweater last year from an online boutique named the retail therapist. The only thing that I have against this sweater is the sequins can scratch your arm or someone else. Emersyn came over and hugged me when I had the sweater on, and she complained that it scratched her little face. Ahhh.
This was my second pair of boots that I took with me to the beach. I didn’t venture onto the sand with these. Getting the leather of the boots wet sounded like a bad idea, and who knows what the saltwater would do to leather! I have on a pair of bootcut Vigoss jeans instead of my normal skinny jeans.

Rodan and Fields

I really like this outfit on you. The boot cut jeans are very flattering for your figure. I prefer boot cut jeans for myself. Because I am a redhead I don’t care to wear red clothing so this type of top would be perfect for me 🙂

My husband is in charge of cooking for the Men’s Supper the first Tues. in February. It was announced Sunday, so we assumed it was this Tues. We had almost everything ready and suddenly we realized it was next week!!! So, it’s to do all over again!?

I too showed up to a retirement party a day early a few years ago. We had a good laugh, I traveled back the hour drive the next day and laughed again. The beach looks inviting especially today. The wind chill factor here is -20. Brrrr!

Love the casual outfit. I don’t find myself buying “themed” shirts because I feel like then I can only wear them around that holiday so I might as well spend the money on something I can wear for a longer period of time. Is my thinking incorrect here? The top you have on I could see where it would work for other then Valentines day, but if I bought a top with red hearts all over it, then I feel I would have to leave it in the closet after Valentines Day.
I am not a fan of themed items either. I loved the heart top because it didn’t scream Valentine’s, and I have worn this many times in the last year.

Lisa, we are not huge on Valentine’s Day activities. I think we will be back at the beach on Valentine’s Day, so at least we will probably go out to dinner.
