Joe and I went to a friend’s house for drinks and supper this past weekend. It is funny how something that was once a regular occurrence now seems strange, and almost like we were doing something that was forbidden. Joe mentioned that we’ve become so used to staying home, that it was odd to “go out” and socialize with people again. He is out more than me since he goes to work daily, or he goes golfing with his friends a couple of times a week.

Joe is also the one who runs to the store for me, so I am home almost all of the time. I had read that some people in the Wuhan area were experiencing difficulty in rejoining society again. I think their issue was because they were still afraid of catching the virus, but it could have also have been because they discovered that they liked being home. I’m in the second category most of the time. I am careful when I do go somewhere, so I am not scared about catching the virus. I just enjoy staying at home, working on the computer while I sit by the pool, and having Joe do the shopping. Lol! I have to admit, I sure did enjoy seeing my Energizer Bunny Friend, though, especially since she made homemade peach cobbler!!! YUM!

This is one of those tops that the photo is not going to do it justice. This top is BEAUTIFUL! I love the serene ocean colors that make me think of the beach. But, there is a tiny thread of shimmer in this top that makes it unique. I do wish that the top had been a v-neck style, but this high-neck ruffle look is “IN” right now. You will see this high-neck style on a lot of the websites, so I thought that I would try one for you. The small ruffle at the neck, and the small flutter sleeve, make the top very feminine looking.

The top is also lined, so you don’t have to worry about seeing through the material. I am wearing a medium which fits, but I think that I would prefer a large in this top. It is supposed to be flowy, and it fits me a tiny bit tight through the chest area. There are a lot of ways that you can wear this top, including jeans, shorts, or capris. The top is machine washable, and it is on sale, which is high on my “want” list. HERE is the link to the top.

I couldn’t wait to show you the Didi earrings that I recently bought from Kendra Scott. The filigree cutout design of these earrings is gorgeous, and the size is perfect for me. I had seen these on the website, and I thought that they looked HUGE. When they arrived, I was so thrilled to see that they weren’t too big at all. Sometimes you just have to try something, and send it back if it doesn’t work for you. HERE is the link to these earrings, and they also come in gold or rose gold.

The bracelets that I have on are the Myles bangle bracelet and the Rue cuff bracelet. The Myles bracelet (HERE) is a modern style bracelet, more geometric looking. And, the Rue cuff bracelet (HERE) is more feminine and dainty. I like both styles, but I find myself wearing the Rue cuff more often. The necklaces that I have on are both from Etsy. The vintage rhinestone circle is one that I bought, and the silver half dollar is one that was a birthday gift from my sister. These white pants are the same pants that I wore in yesterday’s post (HERE.) I think they look completely different, and the only difference was cuffed versus no-cuff. Sometimes it takes a visual to see the difference, and I think this helps out a lot. All of the information is the same. I am wearing my usual size 10, and HERE is the link to the pants.

The white vinyl flip flops have a small gold lining on the sole of the shoe that makes these ordinary flip flops look extraordinary. I bought these last year, and surprisingly they are still available on the website. I am wearing my usual size 9, and they fit me perfectly. HERE is the link to the shoes.
