The Latest Fall Fashions I Have On Order
I’ve been ordering fall clothing like crazy! Fall fashion is my favorite fashion. I love fall colors, soft, cozy sweaters, suede boots, and denim jackets. I wish I could wear fall fashion without having cold weather and limited daylight. I’m sharing all the latest fall fashions I have on order early so you can purchase items you like before they sell out. Plus, since it is Labor Day weekend, there may be a lot of sales, which would save you some money.
Chico’s
I think this is my favorite haul. Everything I bought is fabulous and looks great. This order has already arrived, and I quickly looked everything over. I can’t wait to get photos of everything and get it on the blog soon. There is a massive End of Season Sale with fabulous items I’ve already styled this year. Including this poncho, these wide leg jeans, this maxi tiered denim dress, and the drop waist tiered dress I wore on a date night with Joe.
J.Jill
I saw a J.Jill email that said these fall fashions would make the perfect capsule wardrobe. So, I ordered everything on their list and decided to try them. What do you think from the pictures…do these items look like they would create an excellent fall capsule wardrobe? J.Jill is having a 30% off Full-Priced Jeans sale, and an extra 40% off End Of Summer Sale.
Nordstrom
I didn’t have time to place a big order with Nordstrom because I had to attend an appointment. But I ordered a few things, and I’ll place a new order later this weekend. Nordstrom is having a huge sale, and many of the items included in the Anniversary Sale are still on sale. If you have time, check out this massive sale.
Talbots
You know I love shopping at Talbots. Have you noticed that I’ve ordered a lot of neutrals, including leopard print? I love camel, burgundy, navy, and olive. Almost everything I’ve ordered will all mix and match even though they are from different brands. Talbots is having a 25% off purchase (regular price) sale (including new arrivals) and a Goodbye Summer Sale, including some fall fashion. The discount doesn’t appear until you add the item to your cart. Be aware, these might be Final Sales (No Returns), but up to 70% off the already discounted price. These jeans would only be $24.00!!!
Walmart
I only ordered a few things from Walmart, but I love everything I ordered. My order won’t arrive until late next week, so I can’t comment about how the clothing looks in person. I’m especially excited to get the leopard print tench and try the faux leather jackets.
This isn’t all I’ve ordered. I also got a HUGE order from Old Navy, but I didn’t have time to get the links to everything. I may not have to order more clothing for a long, long time!

What a great haul!! Fall is my all-time favorite season too! I just wish we in the South had a crisp, cool fall…..I ordered and have received the green coat from Walmart and I love it! Although I usually choose Talbot’s for their classic styles and quality I have found that the denim from J Jill is a better fit. I love the capsule wardrobe choices.

Your J Jill capsule wardrobe should work out fine for you. I was in J Jill, Talbot’s and Chico’s today. Chico’s has sweater blazer in dark red and black. it’s lovely and fits perfectly. I now own it! Talbot’s was a bit more of a disappointment. I had ordered a dress and returned it for another size. We’ll see how it goes when it comes in. I always do well at J Jill. walked out with the sweater vest they have the one with side buttons, a white blouse and an off white tank. All in all a very satisfying day!

Hi Tania, I also LOVE autumn clothing, especially the colors. I live in a warm climate, so sweater weather comes pretty late for me. Which means autumn dressing is basically summer weight clothing in fall colors. 🙂 Anyhow, boy would I love to find a leopard tote with brown, not black, handles. And it has to zip fully closed at the top. I LOVE that first outfit on you!!! Classic, polished, stylish. And the touches of leopard in the handbag and belt, perfect. I envy women who can wear belts, they can really make an outfit. But they aren’t comfortable for me to wear (not one bit) and don’t look good on me. So that makes belts a lose-lose for me (LOL). I enjoy using other accessories like shoes or a headband. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend!

I’m like you. I wish I could dress fall without it getting dark early and not get really cold. We’ve finally gotten away from 100 degree. This coming week is supposed to be cooler.

You sure do have some pretty things on order! I really like the leopard tote. While several things appeal to me, I am going to refrain from ordering a lot until I see if I have any gaps in my clothes that are stored in the attic.

Last month I ordered the Pintuck Detail Artisan Print Top from Chico’s. It fit very well, but it went back because I thought it had red in it, but it was orange – so disappointed that back it went.
I love orange and it is huge this season.
I know that you are compensated by the stores but how can you afford to buy everything? Do you return items or do you get to keep them? What does your closet look like? I enjoy your selections and blogs, but wonder how it works.
Jeanne, I make a small commission off the clothing purchased through my links. I purchase most of the clothing myself, style it, take photos, and then decide if the item stays in my closet. What doesn’t make the cut is returned.
I’m so pleased to see so much gorgeous burgundy and dark red this season. Definitely my best color and it’s not always available. Warming up my credit card now!
