Today, we’re diving into The Best Products To Get Rid of Dark Undereye Circles. You know, those pesky shadows that seem to scream to the world – “Hi, I’m Tania. I’m tired, how are you?” I mean, you can only wear so much under-eye concealer! Whether it’s from lack of sleep, genetics, or just one too many cups of coffee (guilty! lol), I’ve found some fabulous products that can help brighten up that under-eye area.

What causes dark circles under the eyes?

There are lots of things: lack of sleep, dehydration, genetics (thanks, Mom), and even allergies!

How long does it take to see results from using eye creams?

It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks of consistent use to notice significant improvements in the appearance of dark under-eye circles. Products with ingredients like retinol and peptides will gradually improve the skin’s texture, boost collagen production, and brighten pigmentation. However, some eye creams with immediate ingredients, like caffeine, can reduce puffiness and give instant results. Be consistent, Gurls!

This little stick is a game-changer for dark under-eye circles! Retinol is a powerhouse when it comes to reducing fine lines. It’s in practically every wrinkle-fighting product. Yes, it’s also great for improving the appearance of dark circles. It works by stimulating collagen production, which helps smooth out wrinkles and firm up the skin – yes, please! ROC Advanced Retinol

If a cream is more your style, this retinol-packed option might be your new best friend. It’s packed with key ingredients like hyaluronic acid and peptides that boost hydration and smooth texture. 1. Patricia Martinez says:

Tania Thank You for posting about under eye dark circles and all of the products that you suggested I will try them until I find my favorite one to use. I have very bad dark circles under my eyes 👀 that someone at work thought 🤔 that I was punched in my eye 👀 i told her nobody punched me in the eye 👀 it’s my dark under eye circles.

  2. My questions are:
    1. How dark are your undereye circles?
    2. What products have you actually used that have worked for you?
    3. Do you have before and after pictures?

I ask because I have wasted so much money on products that didn’t work, and I gave them 8 weeks. I would even write it on the calendar. I’m tired of wasting money. Thanks for your help with this.

    1. My under-eyes aren’t too dark, they are more puffy. I use eye creams for the fine lines, and I’m using eye patches for the puffiness.

  3. Valery Reach says:

I need these products in my life LOL!! I have used face creams for years and years but nothing specifically for eyes! It is definitely time!

  4. Dayna Mellberg says:

I am so glad you posted about under eye dark circles ! I am going to give some of try the Neutrogena. I have super sensitive skin and have been curious about eye creams.
Your posts and coffee are a good way to start my day !

  5. Pam Bowling says:

Thanks for the tips. This is an area I struggle with. I use eye gel patches every morning and ROC dual eye cream am/pm. I also use PTR ( Peter Thomas Roth) Retinol every night. They all help reduce my puffiness and circle-still a struggle.

  6. sue koren says:

I need all of these products!

  7. Those little notes, pictures, cards and school projects are the best. I have all of mine and I’m sorry to say they’re not really organized, but they are in big boxes for each I’ve been using Cliniques all about eyes for years. Another one I love is 100% Pure Caffeine Eye Cream.

  8. I am also going through boxes and bins, and wondering the same as you. yes the originals are wonderful but what am I going to do with all this stuff? let us know if you find a solution that works.

  9. Thanks for sharing these under eye products.

  10. I have started using 100% organic castor oil over my night serum and it has done wonders for the skin under my eyes and eyelids (neck and chest as well.) I avoid my t-zone as I tend to get clogged pores on my nose and don’t want to add too much oil based product in this area. Supposedly it benefits your lashes and eyebrows too. I have very sensitive skin and have had no irritation or burning eyes.

    1. That’s great to know. I’ve heard great things about it, but mixed reviews on the lashes and brows.

    2. hello Susie! I’m older, 65 soon to be in December. I’m also a cancer patient in remission. what is brand is your castor oil and for your serum? Is it chemical free safe? I feel that there should be something out there that you can use only 2 products instead of 4-6 products that you have to use. It adds up and that’s what I can’t afford. I have had 2 surgeries, then 2 weeks later I started my treatments of chemo and radiation. Can you help me please? Thank you

  11. Thanks for the great tips on so many products. I wonder if the retinol products would get rid of those fine lines above my lip? Looking forward to reading comments on how others save those precious handmade cards and such. Maybe they deserve a scrapbook with pockets on each page?

    1. Retinol is great on fine lines. However, the lip lines are the hardest to tackle.

  12. Tammy Roark says:

I have puffy eyes. I’ll have to try some of these.

  13. I will have to try the gold eye patches thank you so much!

  14. What a precious note! I’ve saved a lot of my boys notes in several of those clear file folders. It seems to protect them well and lays flat wherever it’s stored and it’s easy to find since it’s see through!

So many great eye products out there. It’s hard to choose which one would be best for these dark circles of mine. I’m torn btw Clinique, Lancome, and CityGoo.

  15. You are speaking my language. I have an olive complexion (Cherokee Indian in my ancestry). That is wonderful for a summer tan, but in winter, I have dark circles under my eyes, no matter how rested I am. Thanks for these tips!
