50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREESo this blogging and going to classes is hard. I am trying to take in as much information as possible and still do a normal blog post. I wish I could learn the art of scheduling posts ahead of time, but that is not happening anytime soon. Instead, every time we sit down to eat or take a break I grab the laptop and starting editing photos or writing. So much for putting the “social” in social media.50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREEI couldn’t help but laugh today while I was waiting to go inside one of the workshops. The whole point of attending is to learn new concepts and to network with other people in your niche. It is really hard to network when everyone has their smartphone out and is checking emails, posts, etc. They never look up unless someone needs to get past them. Most of the attendees are younger but there are still a few “old timers” like me here. The first class I attended talked about being yourself. I think I got an “A” in that class. Who else am I going to be? Hahaha 50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREEHow about a dressier look with some color? This bright coral jacket was c/o MetroStyle last month. (Here) I love this jacket because of the style AND the color. It is cheery! You can’t be in a bad mood when you wear this jacket, just try, I dare you. Like the jacket I wore yesterday, this one also has striped cuffs that give a different look. This is a one button closure (my favorite) and is the longer length. It seems a lot of cropped versions are coming in style but I still like a long jacket for extra coverage.  50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREE I added gold accessories with the bright coral. I have had this little owl necklace for a while but I have never worn it. It is dainty and I don’t normally do dainty. I like keeping everything in proportion, I am not dainty so neither is my jewelry. This is called the Marianne. It has dangly feet and a solid stone body. The long necklace was a Plunder Posse from last Summer and my earrings are the Ashton. You really need to try the Ashton earrings, they are incredible. I NEVER thought I would wear such large earrings but I love this pair. New party ALERT!!! I closed my last party and opened a new one. I bet you can guess what the name is….www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania5 EVERY purchase (for the rest of March) over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping) will be getting a 15% off discount check from me.I 50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREE  love my bling bracelets but neither one of these are available. Gurl’s you need to always take advantage of these specials when they come around because I feel guilty about wearing the items later. The gold Aisha inscription bracelet is one I wore on the plane ride here. It says, “My faith is bigger than my fears” and that about says it all. I love that, I live that! 50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREE Here is where my look gets a little dressy. I love this c/o pumps from Nina shoes. I received these shoes back in the late summer and they are so stunning. (HERE) I have never had shoes like these because I always tended to be “practical.” I love not being practical! It was so liberating to just wear an impractical shoe for a change. YOLO! Haha50 IS NOT OLD | T-SHIRT AND JEANS SERIES, PART THREEThis three hour time difference is kicking my butt. It is 9:30 pm here and I am dying on the vine. I will share some of my adventures with you gurls later. Let’s just say my shyness is really hard to overcome. Wish me luck tomorrow, I need to do my power poses before the sessions start.

This color screams spring to me—I think it’s perfect—especially with those shoes!!
Networking is always the hard part for me too—being an introvert makes it especially hard, don’t you think??

  8. Love the shoes, my feet would rebel but I love ’em. PS. Don’t feel bad about the technology…at a recent Garden Club convention I sat next to the floral designer who told me she went to a tech show for the floral industry. She sat there confused, awed and thinking “how will I ever get my site updated with all this stuff”? The talk ended and she got to leave, almost depressed on the hard work ahead, turned to her 18 year old daughter who brightly said, “well, that’s done”! The daughter had updated everything while the talk was going on…
Now you need to snag an 18 year old, they’ll explain scheduled posts to you but won’t be able to clean their room.
