Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, Our Blessed Redeemer!

Next Sunday is Christmas Eve. With Christmas almost being here, I’ve been thinking a lot about Jesus and how he came into the world just for us. At night, when I wake up, there are always two songs that are on repeat in my brain. The first is Holy, Holy, Holy, and the second is Praise Him! Praise Him! It seems I like songs that have repeating words in the title.

When I’m anxious or my mind is racing, I sing Holy, Holy, Holy. I love the song, and I sing it in my mind much slower than I’ve heard it before. I usually only sing one verse, and I’ll sing it over and over again.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning, our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy, merciful, and mighty!
God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

This song calms me down, and I am able to drift back off to sleep. Knowing that the Lord is with me takes away my anxious thoughts and reminds me who is in control and that it is NOT me.

Some nights I wake up with Praise Him! Praise Him! on my mind. This is the song that is on repeat right now, and I think that Christmas might be the reason. I grew up hearing this song in church, and I always think of my grandmother when I hear it. She had a loud, very shrill voice, so she could be heard above the entire congregation when we sang. It is funny that I was embarrassed as a child to hear her sing, and now it is one of my favorite memories of her.

There are so many reasons to praise the Lord! Here are a few that I wanted to highlight.

Creator of the Universe

CAN YOU IMAGINE??? I always praise the Lord for His wonderful creation and for letting me experience this gorgeous world. There are times when I look around me, and I’m filled with awe at how the Lord spoke this into existence. He created earth, and ALL creatures, including you and me.

Isaiah 40:28

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Light of the World

This world is full of darkness, and I am thankful that the Lord is the light of the world. He will guide us, and we never have to be consumed by the darkness that is all around us. I like to feel like the Lord is my force field, and I am encapsulated in a bubble that is impenetrable.

John 8:12

12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Redeemer

Thank you, Lord, for your redeeming blood. Without His sacrifice, we wouldn’t have a chance to spend eternity in Heaven. His grace and forgiveness, along with the blood of The Lamb, is our only chance since we are all sinners.

Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

Advocate

I can’t tell you how many times I interceeded for my children when they were young. When they messed up, which was more times than I can count, I would talk to Joe and intercede on their part. By the time the children came to him, he had already thought about the issue and was ready to receive them in a calm and understanding manner. (most of the time) If Joe and I did that for our children, can you imagine how much more the Lord would do for us?

Romans 8:34

34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

These are just a few reasons to praise the Lord, and I want to make today an interactive post. List some of the reasons YOU praise the Lord. I love hearing stories of how the Lord has shown up in your lives. Your testimonies speak volumes. If you want to keep your name private, enter a different name or a code. I praise the Lord because I live in the beautiful woods and just because he is Lord. Anonymous

  2. So very thankful for God’s creation, and for family! We are with our grown children and spouses this week in Wyoming. Our first time to visit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Wow! I cannot stop praising the Lord for his beautiful creation, and for the gift of family! I am so humbled and grateful!

  3. When the sinner finds peace with God through the blood of Jesus, the Christian life has but just begun. Now he or she is to “go on unto perfection;” to grow up “unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” … Peter sets before us the steps by which Bible sanctification is to be attained: “Giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity…. If ye do these things, ye shall never fall.

  4. Mary Carol says:

Thank you for this post Tania.
I am so very grateful for my family and friends.
We enjoyed a wonderful visit and lunch at home yesterday with our adult kids and it truly meant the world to me.
Last Christmas we were not able to be together because of illness and it really hurt, so this year was above and beyond special.

  5. I’m a hymn kind of gal. I have a harder time with contemporary music touching me the way a hymn does. The first that comes to mind is “How Great Thou Art.” It has brought me to tears more than once. Obviously not the only one, but it’s what came to my head first. God is so great and so much more loving and forgiving than I deserve. Praise Him for His mercy and love!

  6. Ginger Dykes says:

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! There’s just something about that name! This is my go-to song when I can’t sleep because just saying Jesus brings me such peace! Other times, it’s To God be the Glory! Thank you for sharing your favorites!

  7. Debbie Brown says:

I am so thankful for the verses for you talking about Jesus.. lot of people don’t do that and I’m glad. I’m proud that you’re glad to share your faith in Jesus Christ. Have a blessed Christmas.

  8. I love that you have a Christian view and to let you know those are two of my favorite hymns as well.Barbara

  9. Susan McMillan says:

    Beautiful post!

  10. Bonnie Hoover says:

What is it about Christian church songs that bring back memories? It was my grandmother’s sister Tippy who I hear singing Holy Holy Holy! We did not live close to them but always attended church while visiting. I remember sitting between my grandmother and her sister. One of them always had lifesavers in her purse with Kleenex lint stuck to it.

  11. A truly uplifting song and Sunday bible verses you have shared! They fill my heart and soul for hope of eternal everlasting peace. I, too, am in wonder of this beautiful world we share! Thank you, Tania.

  12. What a wonderful post! God showed up for me in many ways during my journey with breast cancer 16 years ago. I also wake up in the middle of the night. I usually pray, but “Holy, Holy, Holy” is perfect! I will sing that to God the next time I wake up with anxiety in the night. Thank you, Tania!

  13. Thankyou for all these remembered blessings! I am in a low place right now and found these uplifting. The Lord has worked in my life so many times that I can’t tell you them all but it helps to be reminded that he is still working for my good and I am not in control!
    Diana

    1. Diana, when I’m feeling low, I love remembering what He has already done for me. He says that He will never forsake us, so if He was there before, He is still there now.

  14. Hi Tania!

In response to your request from your “interactive” post of some reasons we praise the Lord, I have so many reasons.. in fact I can’t think of a reason not to Praise Him! 🙂
I have been very blessed by the Lord.
Thank you for sharing your faith with us all.
    To God goes the glory!

    Peace,
    Denise

  15. Sharon McGuigan says:

  16. Deborah Leggett says:

I praise God for His gift of Salvation and how He loves us unconditionally! I’m so thankful His mercies are new every single day.
I too sing Holy, Holy, Holy when I wake up in the middle of the night. It’s so calming and what better way to spend my time than to praise Him! ❤️

  17. Very good message. I can’t possibly list all God has done for me. I am so grateful.

  18. Thanks for the precious post today. I sing often and many times in the car I sing out loud. Right now I am singing every Christmas carol I can think of at the time. Merry Christmas

    1. I love Christmas carols.

      1. Monica Sipes says:

So many reasons to praise Jesus. His goodness for one, I look back over my life and see his goodness from the beginning. He is always with us and won’t leave us or forsake us, as you also said Tania. I love that song “My Jesus” because if you know him and love him, you want to say “Let Me Tell You About My Jesus”! Merry Christmas Tania to you and your family. God Bless.

  19. Elizabeth says:

I praise God for giving me another day, a roof over my head, a warm bed in which to sleep, ability to function without help, food to eat, employment, medical care, love of family and friends. I’ve never been homeless, hungry, unloved or neglected but am keenly aware that others in the world are not as blessed. I don’t take any of these blessings for granted.

  20. I thank God every morning for the beautiful sunrise and sky that only He can create. Then I thank Him for the granted a new day. I pray for family, my church family, friends , the neighbors near and far, the world and those who govern the world. Of course I pray for the sick in body, mind or spirit. And for the Holy Spirit to be present to guide all of the above.
Then for me to be guided to follow the Lord through the day.
I try to remember to be mindful of the little wonders that are present in my life.
I truly love to talk to my Father God.

    1. Lin, you have a wonderful list and I know everyone on your prayer list appreciates your thinking of them.

  21. I praise the Lord for my church family. Our pastor is sick. So today our worship/youth ministry preached. He’s young and I’m so proud of him! Today he shared that there’s a gap between us and the divine. It is sin. We cannot fill that gap, only Jesus can. The law was given to show us “the mountain” was impossible for us to climb. God came down the mountain in the form of a baby. After 33 years he climbed up the mountain, the hill, and gave his life for me, for everyone. He climbed where I was supposed to climb.
Perfection came down for the imperfect! Heaven came down! To God be the glory!

  22. Tania, what a great post. I, too, have a theme song when I’m feeling discouraged or anxious. I love the chorus to Sanctus Real’s “Confidence.” I haven’t tried it when I’m sleepless but I’m sure gonna give it a try. Thank you!!!

… So give me faith like Daniel in the lion’s den
Give me hope like Moses in the wilderness
Give me a heart like David, Lord be my defense
So I can face my giants with confidence!

  23. Kathleen O'Brien says:

Lamentations 3:22-27. The Lord is my portion and new every morning.

  27. Phyllis Martin says:

I praise the Lord for His protection. Sometimes we aren’t even aware until later.
I praise the Lord for His forgiveness which is our example to forgive others.

    1. Awesome words to remind us and keep us in God’s shining presence.

  28. Marianne M says:

I praise Him for all the wonderful gifts He has given me! My Savior, my family, friends, home, food and so many other things!

  29. He is indeed Holy! Redeemer! Wonderful Counselor! Mighty God! Prince of Peace!
such a great message today. Those melodies immediately came to mind!

  30. Thank you so much for this post! I have been very blessed by HIM in so many ways! But the best blessing is that HE brought my daughter back to HIM after chasing so many false gods (her exact words). To GOD goes all the honor and glory! Have a blessed day and Christmas season!

    1. Debra, praise the Lord!!!

  31. Holly Porter says:

Wonderful Tania! What a sweet reminder of our Gracious Lord & Saviour.
    Thank you

  32. thank you again Tania for spreading the gospel message here! This is a time of year when it’s so busy and there is lots of hustle and bustle. It’s so good to stop and ponder about this Almighty King who came to save us. Mary pondered all these things in her heart and we need to stop and ponder often also. AND then go tell it on the mountain, that Jesus Christ is born. One of my favorite songs, I remember this was sang loudest as a kid in Sunday school Christmas programs.

  33. Love Holy, Holy, Holy! One of my favorite hymns with such inspiring lyrics!

  34. I loved your comments about singing songs. The really only bad part is when after a few days of same song I ask the Lord to give me another song. He is faithful even in the little things. We retired from pastoring in 2011.
    God is good!

  35. Ginger Hiller says:

Tania, There are so many reasons why I praise my Lord and Savior. Right now one of my top reasons is because my husband, Larry, is doing good on his chemo treatment for the incurable Multiple Myeloma (thanks to Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War). The doctors told us back in 2016 that it will eventually kill him. While he isn’t as active as he used to be and can’t help much with the upkeep of our home and property, he is still by my side. I also praise him for bringing me through Cushing’s Disease many years ago and He pulled me through a scary hospital stay in July of this year. Another reason I continue to praise Him is the strong relationship that Larry & I have. How comforting it is to know that He is always with me; I can talk to Him at any time; He truly gets what I am going through and how I feel; His love for me is truly unconditional; He is my Lord and Savior, which helps me cope and deal with the challenges in my life. Happy 3rd Sunday of Advent!

    1. Ginger, I love your wonderful attitude. None of us are promised another day, and each new day is a blessing. I remember when you went through that horrible time this past summer. I’m so glad you have been healed.

  36. Janice Nagle says:

I praise and thank God for His sacrifice and my salvation. What would I do with Him in my daily l
    life?!

  37. Vickey F Vaughan says:

Your post was just what I needed to hear today. I too use those 2 songs to calm me and to just praise our wonderful God.

Related to your outfits I absolutely the short deep blue evening dress. The color is beautiful and would look good on all women.

The jeans and long gold sweater was so put together and would be good for running errands and casuals meetings and lunch.

  38. Jenniffer Groski says:

Clearly typing on my Kindle isn’t working well this morning but you got the message!

  39. Thanks for your Sunday blog, it is a blessing to many! Going through difficult times I often awake with the hymn, Great Is Thy Faithfulness, going through my mind. It reminds me that God is good is a there right in the midst of all that is happening. I can still her my grandmother’s voice too. But she had a beautiful alto voice. I think my voice is probably more like your grandmother’s voice though! God wants us to sing praises no matter our voice. Enjoy today, Tania!

  40. Jenniffer Groski says:

In going to save this post! I love all the ways you reminded me just how Awesrour God is.

  41. My health and financial blessings. Out God is a good God!

  42. I praise the Lord for His provision of my forever family as a 6 year old. I am now 58 years old! He provided the avenue of adoption for my husband and I to adopt following our boys being 4 and 8 years old! God is so faithful! I praise Him for provision!

  43. Every Sunday at Mass, I sit In the same place in the front row. My church has a huge Crucifix behind the alter. I literally stare at the image of Jesus in complete awe… what he did to take away our sins! Tania, THANK YOU for your Sunday posts!!! Have a beautiful day🙏🙏🙏

  44. I love The Lord’s Prayer. My dad sang it often at church. Another favorite is Children of the Heavenly Father. He even sang this in Swedish. Thanks for helping me remember these special times.

  45. Tania,
I love your post today. Christmas time is the perfect reminder to concentrate and praise the Lord.
There were times in my life when I felt overwhelmed or helpless. Through the tragic deaths of loved ones, illness of my child and a contentious divorce, Jesus was there walking beside me. I am so grateful for this and for the people God has placed in my life.
    Kathie

  46. Tania I love your blog because of your faith..there are so many things to praise him for this year has been terrible we lost our 13 granddaughter to undiagnosed leukemia I had to go to church and neel on the alter and give it all to God or I would have never survived it my daughter who is the mother to my granddaughter lost her fiance 4 months later all I can do is praise God for 13 years with her my favorite are waymaker and speak the name of Jesus and Even if. God has always been there

    1. Lisa, I am so sorry. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain your family has had to endure. It has to be hard to praise the Lord with such horrific losses. But, even through the tears, praise His name and ask Him to mend your broken hearts.

      1. thank you so much Praise his Holy name

  47. Praise Him! Praise Him! is not a song I am familiar with but have played the video over and over and find it so uplifting. Holy, Holy, Holy is also a favorite of mine. We sing it often at church. The Lord shows up in my life when I least expect it. He knows when I need him!!

  48. I am thankful I came across your Pinterest page this year! The Lord definitely works through people & you are one of those people! You are touching people through your posts that may not hear the word any other way! Praise God for the family he chose for me I am so thankful! When facing tough days I often hum “This is the day” & it helps calm me! Merry Christmas 🎄 ✝️

  49. Thank you for your post today Tania. It took me back to some wonderful memories. My granddad’s favorite song was The Old Rugged Cross and for a few minutes this morning I got to enjoy that sweet memory of him in his chair listening to it. I remember hearing my grandmother’s wavering voice in church above the crowd and now I know hers and those like hers are so precious because they didn’t care how they sounded, they just wanted to sing praise to God. I have been so blessed to have the family I had. Praise be to God!

  50. I was encouraged reading this post and I too love the old hymns we grew up singing. A favorite is Blessed Assurance. I keep a hymn book near my Bible and often read the hymns when I read the Bible or devotionals.

  51. Thanks for your encouraging words this am. You always manage to bring what matters the most into perspective!❤️

  52. Praise God that his timing is always perfect! How often I struggle and try to “move things along” at my own pace, only to fall flat. EVERY single time, the answer comes in God’s timing, reminding me what I (imperfect human) already knew!! Praise God for his perfect timing and gentle reminders!!! Have a blessed day!

  53. Ann Claire says:

I want to praise Him for His wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me. What a gracious merciful God to send His Son to die for my sins…and then to gift me with this Holy Spirit to live inside me. Praise His Holy Name!

  54. Wow! I was awake at 3am this morning with thoughts racing thru my mind. But then I got my phone from charging station in living room and opened my church app. Read from several of our pastors their interpretation of Bible verses. When done, lay in bed thanking Him for how He loves me, protects me, and blessed my family. I recently coached my SIL to lay her burdens with her son at Christ’s feet. She spent her 45 min commute doing just that (and crying was involved) and felt better once home. Guess what? That night she and her husband were able to have a calm talk with their son and things have been much improved. SIL said she feels bad that she only talks to God in times of strife. So we made a girl pact to talk to him when we walk our dogs and end with the things we are grateful to Him for. Get a prayer buddy; it helps build your relationship with Him!
    Have a blessed dayb

    1. That is a wonderful idea, Maggie.

  55. please keep family in prayers

  56. Thank you for that beautiful post. I have songs in my mind frequently as u get older. I’m so thankful for God’s grace and for my salvation. How wonderful to know we have a home in Heaven. I praise him for countless times that He intercedes for me or my family. Merry Christmas!

  57. I could go on and on, but for now I’ll stick to this reason. I have suffered from awful anxiety my whole life, but in the last year or two, I have been living more in alignment with God’s plan for me. The more I surrender to His will and His timing, the more wonderful things happen to and for me, and the more easily I can see the bigger picture.

All of which has given me blessed relief from my anxiety. I trust in the Lord and His plan, I see more clearly what’s meant to be, and there’s nothing to fear there.

    1. All He wants is for us to follow Him. It is amazing how much better our life is when we listen to Him.

  58. In 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer. The Lord was so gracious to walk with me every step of that journey of healing! Right in the middle of all that, Jesus completely restored my marriage-we had been divorced almost 3 years! I always tell people that the healing of our hearts was perhaps an even bigger miracle that took place that year! I (we) will never be the same!
    Jeremiah 32:17
“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You!”

    1. Michele, what a wonderful testimony! The Lord is good, and it is wonderful to hear how He worked in your life.

  59. THANKYOU!! This post touched my heart. The story, the scripture, the song
all blessed my heart and mind. Thank you and Merry Christmas

  60. Donna Wood says:

We lost our youngest daughter at 17 to ovarian cancer. People ask me, “How do you go on after that kind of loss? You must be the strongest woman in the world!” I can tell you without a doubt, I am a major weakling, but our God is STRONG and he carries us when we need to be carried. Ashley passed in 2005, and when I look back over those years, I can see God’s fingerprints everywhere! I am reminded of the incredible sacrifice God willingly made so we can have eternal life with him. Our TRUE JOY comes from Jesus! I am so grateful for the 17 years I had with Ashley and for the strength, joy, peace and grace we receive from our God. Merry Christmas, everyone.

    1. Donna, tears are slipping down my cheeks. You lived through every parents worst nightmare. A blogger friend on mine went through the same thing when she lost her son. She said that her son was only on loan from the Lord, and that she was so blessed to have been his mother here on earth.

  61. Thank you for your testimony this morning, I look forward to reading them every week. Lauren Daigle …You Say…..is a great song that brings me to joyful tears….To God always be the glory….

  62. Tania,

What a beautiful, meaningful, and uplifting post! I’m thankful to have found your site this year.

The Guardian Angel prayer is on repeat for me. In all times, I believe God sends my Guardian Angel to be with me, to light, guard, protect and guide. I choose to live this life solo and a small circle of family & friends. Times when I am feeling truly alone, I feel the stronger presence of my guardian angels and the directions she gives for my next right steps. Her name is Opal Victoria.

  63. Pam Bowling says:

    Great post! Thank you!
    Reasons I praise:

His plan of salvation giving me the right to eternal life

    His sacrifice

His whispers of sweet peace when I am fearful

My family He picked out just for me

    His grace and mercy

Truthfully, I could go on and on and never finish. This is the season to praise God for the greatest gift the world has ever received. Merry Christmas!!

    1. Pam, this is why I wrote this post. I wanted more reasons to Praise HIM!

  64. Cheryll Sampson says:

Amen to your beautiful blog today. The Lord has been with me throughout my life and has taken care of me through the loss of spouses, raising my wonderful son with limited means, moves to various states, and now retirement and grandmotherhood. He has blessed me with the ability to teach Sunday School to some great ladies in two states and given me more than I ever thought I wanted or needed. I am so thankful for Jesus, our Saviour. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    1. I love hearing how HE always provides, even when we aren’t aware of it.

  65. Thank you for this reminder to praise God with all we have. In our small country church long ago, we had a little lady, Ms. Mattie Jewel. She sang with gusto and right beside her were her daughter-in-law and two granddaughters who sang just like that. She taught them to praise the Lord. What a sweet memory!

  66. Terry Dupree says:

I LOVE praise music – it seems so many of my friends “of a certain age” don’t share my joy and while I do love the hymns we grew up singing the praise songs are the ones that speak to my heart (I am looking forward to singing with the angels in heaven because my earthly singing is not angelic😍). The song that I hum most and I wake up singing and often almost gulp sob when we sing it at church is “Bless the Lord O My Soul” by Matt Redman. He wrote it based on PS 103 – God’s Holiness, loving kindness, slowness to anger, kind heart, His goodness, His GREAT name – and more. What a great God we worship!

    1. I love that song also! Thanks for the reminder. I’m listening to it right now!

  67. Great post Tania! I do something very similar, I say the Rosary, everynight when I wake up for a few minutes that’s what I repeat to go back to sleep. It doesn’t let any other thoughts in that might keep me awake. And any time I am worried or pray for someone, that’s my go to. Mother Mary always intercedes for me.

The Lord, he always shows up, I don’t always understand his ‘whys’, but are we really supposed to? Whenever I’m supposed to be somewhere and get delayed(and frustrated)…. lost keys, a cat that won’t come in, etc… I just tell myself that The Lord has delayed me to avoid something I’m not supposed to be a part of ( A car accident, a grumpy individual, could be anything). This helps me not get flustered, and instead I focus on his goodness.

Keep up the good work here!

    1. Kim, I do the same thing! I’ll find myself getting irritated when I’m stuck in traffic, and I remind myself that He is in control and sees things I can’t.

  68. When my son was diagnosed with autism at age 2, I was devastated and cried out to God. The Lord has provided exactly what my son needs every step of the way. Today, he is 21. He is more independent every day, and is my greatest joy in life. God has transformed my life by being my son’s mom. To God be the glory!

    1. This is a beautiful testimony! Thanks for sharing.

  69. Great things to think about!!!

  70. Susan Bruce says:

    Tania,
Thank you so very much for this post! These songs remind me of going to church with my family!! Holy, Holy,Holy is one of my very favorites too. I hope you have a wonderful and magical Christmas season with your family. I’m anxious to go to our candle light service next weekend, it’s always beautiful.
    Blessings,
    Susan

  71. Jane Martin says:

Thank you for you devotional this morning.
One of my favorite hymns is “Abide With Me” and a version sung by Audrey Assad. I just listened to it while I had morning coffee. There is an amazing backstory behind the author of this hymn who while terrible distress wrote this hymn. This hymn helps me feel connected to Jesus Christ.
    Thank you. Jane Martin

  72. I LOVE your post today! Those are two songs I grew up listening to also and they hold a special place in my heart! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and, of course, your fashion advice!!

  73. What a beautiful post! I can remember singing Holy! Holy! Holy! Growing up and miss the old hymns. It rings so true each and every day how He is merciful and mighty. I was a flight attendant and King Jesus placed a hedge of protection around me more times than I can count! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  74. Tania,
Your Sunday devotion posts are always so inspirational. I look forward to them every Sunday. My husband reads them too. He says you are a great writer and should write a book.
He is very picky about whose writings he reads so you are one of the best. I think so too.
We wish you and your family a very safe and Merry Christmas.
Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

    1. Diana, this brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much for sharing with your husband, and for encouraging me.

  75. God has done things that I NEVER thought could happen in my life and I am trusting Him to continue to do the impossible! Never give up on Him!

  76. Holy, holy, holy! Beautiful!

  77. He is worthy,
He is worthy of ALL of our praise!

Listen to the song ‘Praise’ by Brandon Lake.

I went to sleep last night with this song in my head.

    Love your posts.

  78. All praise, honor and glory to God who is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, our Savior and Redeemer! He is our Comforter, our Shepherd, our refuge in time of troubles. He is our all in all!

  79. Mary Kinard says:

Praise God for good health and for His love and protection over our family and friends!

  80. Diane Roelofs says:

    Amen! Thanks for the reminder!

  81. Elaine Haynes says:

Beautiful hymn! I used to play it at my little country church in the 70s. Tears in my eyes as I reflect on God’s grace! Thank you! A great post that I needed today!

  82. I too praise our Lord for this wonderful world He has given us to enjoy, for His wonderful creation. I thank and praise Him for salvation and for peace in all circumstances in my life.

  83. Robin Williams says:

Thank you for your post this morning and for giving God the glory he deserves for all He gives us! It was a wonderful first read for me on the internet this morning and exactly what I needed to be reminded of! Glory to God and thank you, Jesus!
