Nine Great Turtlenecks You’re Sure To Love

Turtlenecks are one of those things – you either love them or hate them! Since I’ve never met a fashion item that I don’t have at least a little bit of love for, you know which side I fall on, lol. I’ve included several different types, so hopefully something for everyone. Without further ado, here are nine great turtlenecks you’re sure to love!
Nine Great Turtlenecks You’re Sure To Love – Ribbed
This Fisherman sweater is gorgeous! I love the 100% cotton fabric; it feels so nice against my skin. I’m a fan of the longer length of this sweater, and the large is the correct size for me. Man, oh man, this is such a pretty, nice medium-weight sweater!
Let’s start with a classic ribbed turtleneck. This is from one of my favorite retailers – Talbots. I like the hem and the buttons on the cuff. This would look worn by itself or as a layered piece under a jacket or vest. The description says that the stripes are metallic. Nice! Available in Misses, Petite, and Plus.
Everyone should own at least one classic turtleneck. This is 95% cotton and 5% spandex and would be perfect as a base layer. I like the navy, but it’s available in black, red, white, and bone as well. This is available in Misses, Petite, Plus, and Petite Plus sizes!
This is the perfect turtleneck. I mean, it’s right there in the name! It looks very similar to the one above but it’s 56% Cotton, 25% Modal, 16% Nylon, and 3% Spandex. This is a great weight for transitioning from winter to spring. There are several colors at the link, and they are available in Misses, Petite, and Plus sizes.
Nine Great Turtlenecks You’re Sure To Love – Sweater
You know I’m a huge fan of Fair Isle sweaters. I did an entire post about them last year! The snowflake pattern is bright and cheery, and I love the split hem. This is more of a mock turtleneck than a traditional type and is thick and fluffy. Available in Misses, Petite, and Petite Plus.
This beauty is from Talbots too, and it just looks so COZY! I love the classic camel color and the large weave. Don’t let the open weave fool you. The reviews say that this sweater is very warm. If you don’t love the color, it’s also available in a gorgeous pale blue.

Speaking of a gorgeous pale blue, here’s a great option from Amazon. I thought it was similar in shape to the one above, but now that I have them together, all I can see is the differences. Hmm. I like them both! This one is much more oversized, and the sleeves and hem are longer. Obviously, the weave is also tighter. So basically, they don’t look alike at all, lol.
Here’s another waffle turtleneck that I think looks incredibly comfy and cozy. This is a great causal turtleneck that would work until spring temperatures start to rise. Throw it on with a great pair of jeans and suede boots, and hit the street! This is available in nine different colors and is machine washable.
Finally, I love this color-block turtleneck sweater. It reminds me of a sweater I bought over 30 years ago to wear on a date with Joe, lol. Hey, it did the trick back then! You can wear this tucked in or out, and with jeans or leggings. If you’re not a fan, it’s available in many other versions.

I love cotton turtlenecks! Thanks for the suggestions.
You are so brave to post your eyebrow pictures online. They look good though in the blue turtle neck sweater picture.
Love the color blocked sweater. So classic!
I love turtleneck sweaters! You gave us some beautiful options. The red fair isle sweater is gorgeous.
Love a turtleneck sweater. That blue looks so good on you! Thanks for the recommendations!
Your eyebrows don’t look bad. They’re always darker right after but believe they will lighten soon enough. I can’t stand anything up to neck anymore. I feel like I’m choking so I don’t wear turtle necks. I prefer mock turtlenecks. I do have an old turtleneck that doesn’t choke me. it’s black and charcoal with stripes from JCPenney. It has lasted so long that I looked at what’s it’s made of. It’s mostly cotton and 9 percent cashmere. I couldn’t believe it. All this time I didn’t know I had something with cashmere. Since it’s such a small amount is probably why it’s not itchy. The stripes make it on trend plus it’s so warm. You look good in your turtlenecks.
Love the Talbots grey metallic sweater.
Great turtlenecks!! So classic!
I have become a fan of color block sweaters and that black and white one is gorgeous. Because I am a little claustrophobic, I can’t wear anything tight around my neck so cowl necks are my choice.
I love browing tinting. I have mine tinted every three weeks when I get a hair cut. My hair is white so without the tinting, I look very washed out. With the tinting, I don’t need a brow pencil for color or filling in. The Groucho Marx effect is just the dye on you skin. Once you wash you face with a good cleanser, I think you will like the outcome.
