My Latest Chico’s Try-On Haul Plus A Sales Alert
I know you love a try-on haul, so here is a small one from Chico’s. Be sure to scroll to the end of this post to see a sales alert with some of my picks. Chico’s is one of my favorite retailers, and I love it when I can get their clothing at a discounted price.
This look is casual but slightly elevated. This outfit looks put-together and like you put some thought into getting dressed. But, all you had to do was choose this Woven Shirt Detail Knit Sweater, which has the cuff and hem details of a woven shirt built into it.
The sweater is soft and lightweight, and the Wisteria Blue version (available in black) is perfect for spring. Here is the look from the back, and you can see how nice the sweater looks whether you’re coming or going. I’m wearing a size 1, so this runs true to size.
The Denim Slim Pull-On Boot-Cut Jeggings aren’t tight like you would expect when you see “jeggings” in the description. Maybe they called them that because they are pull-on jeans, a style I’ve come to embrace. I’m wearing the BUTTERCUP INDIGO version, but it also comes in two darker washes. These run true to size, and I’m wearing my usual .5, which fits great.
Wearing white platform sneakers with jeans or leggings is still all the rage, and I couldn’t be more grateful! If you have aging feet, there’s nothing better than skipping the heels and wedges to opt for a cute pair of sneakers. This pair from P448 has a cushioned insole with arch support! I’ve had these for a few weeks now, and I’ve been reaching for them often for running errands! I have been wearing them with sweatshirts for the winter, but they’ll also be cute in the spring and summer.
You’ll love this outfit even if you don’t dress up for Valentine’s Day!
I love celebrating Valentine’s Day, but it will look a little different this year since I will be out of town. I’ll be having a Galentine celebration with my friends Jennifer and Jo-Lynne in Miami, and I might take this tip with me for our dinner.
I absolutely adore this Sandwash Satin Leopard Love Shirt! It is perfect for Valentine’s Day but is understated since the leopard print stands out while the LOVE wording is hidden in the print.
You could wear this top any time of the year, which would be appropriate. The lightweight modal fabric feels luxurious, but you could still wear this casually with a pair of jeans or with a denim jacket. I’m wearing my usual size 1, and it fits me great without any button gaps.
These Ecru Pull-On 5 Pocket Slim Ankle Pants have been on sale for a while, so they are extremely limited in size. I found another ecru pair, SO SLIMMING 360 Juliet Side-Vent Ankle Pants, that will look almost identical, but they aren’t on sale. I’m wearing my usual size .5, and the pants run TTS.

I like these hauls, it make it easier to see them on you instead of guessing. I can see where the shirts and sweaters hit you. I tend to like longer in front and back. This way I can dress them up or down along with jeans and leggings.

Love those white pants. I haven’t tried any ankle length jeans yet. It’s kind of funny to me. I was 5’6” most of my life (age has taken a 2” toll on me), and it was hard to find pants long enough. Now that I can find right length, short pants are the style🙄

I enjoy your posts, and wanted to know if you’ve ever done a post or considered doing a post about traveling to Europe, outfits and how to pack. My husband and I are planning a 3 week trip to Italy in September and I’m getting flustered thinking about packing with a lot of moving around, not a lot places to do laundry but still looking stylish, being comfortable and shoes that are comfy, but not shouting “American”. Any help would be great!
So then it’s ok to wear white jeans in the winter?? I live in and was raised in the south. Everything in me is screaming no!

I must try the pull on jeggings. Just had a body analysis done and found out I shouldn’t be wearing leggings, but the jeggings would be the best of both worlds.

Just a hint for anyone with heavy upper arms – Chicos blouses fit very well!
I’ve lost 50lbs and am a solid size 14 BUT it’s my upper arms that are problematic. I just picked up some no-iron Chicos tops on a “flash” sale and I’m so happy with them.
….I work out and do kettlebell workouts… the fat on the upper arms refuses to go away!!!
