LABOR DAY PLANS REVEALED
I have spent the week styling shades of gray, and today will mark the last day of this color. There were a lot of different versions this week. Here I wore gray/black jeans, here I went with light gray and a print, and yesterday I went gray on grey. But, today is the first time I have
worn an outfit with a gray top. The gray, for the most part, has been in the form of pants. But, I wanted to mix it up a little, so I brought out this beautiful gray tank top. The top is a really pretty shade of gray, it almost has a purple tint. Because I work in a lumber company, (think home center store) the paint department has loads of paint sample charts. You can really see the different shades of a color.
I like tank tops because you can wear them in the summer and even in the winter. Because they are sleeveless, you don’t have to worry about the extra bulk from the sleeves when you wear a jacket or cardigan. But, if the straps of the tank are small, like this one, then you have to worry about your bra straps showing. I put on the lace insert cardigan from the Loft because these straps are small. For those of you who do not like your upper arms to show, this is what I would wear. If you have to be out in the hot sun, you might need to try another option.
Navy Cardigan: Similar | Similar | SimilarI bought this gray tank earlier this year at a boutique in the next town over. It is by Umgee, and it has really washed up well. I was a little worried, I had read some comments where that brand might has issues. So far everything I have gotten from that brand has done well. I am not one who treats my clothing gently, so if it survives me, it should survive most of you. The cutest part of the tank is of course the pleated hem.
Tank Top: Tank in Green | Ralph Lauren | Plus in LaceThe huge pearl drops from my Plunder jewelry is a little hard to not notice. Haha! This Jane necklace is one of my favorite purchases. I have worn it in a casual style, and also in a dressier way. The necklace does not come with a pendant attached, you have to purchase one, or use one you already own. This rhinestone “T” was something I already owned, and it went great with the necklace. You can see that there is a lobster claw that hangs from the large pearl for you to attach a pendant. Here is Plunder’s pendant that they use for a monogram. The Paige bracelet just matches this necklace perfectly. If you purchase any of the Plunder jewelry, just type my stylist number in the box when you go to checkout (241007). I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout. If you would like to have an online or FaceBook party, contact me and I will help you set everything up.
I carried this purse in yesterday’s post, and since it matched, I just decided to carry it again. (That means I was too lazy to change purses) Look how worn out the edges are on this purse. You can tell I have gotten my money’s worth. I know some of you think you have to buy a purse that is black, brown, navy, or white. You are afraid that you will not carry one that is a bright color. Just look at these edges, and you will see that is not the case.
Green Satchel: Splurge | Save | Mid-RangeI haven’t worn my Aerosole espadrille wedge shoes in a while. I have no idea why, because they go with anything. These shoes are extremely comfortable, and they are easy to put on. I think I wore them so much earlier, that I was afraid you were tired of seeing them.
Aerosole Shoes: Honey Blossom | Cherry Plush | Heart PlushThese navy pull-on pants are beyond comfortable. They have JUST enough stretch in them to make them fit, but not enough to make them skin tight. I also like the length of these pants. I have long legs, and I have always hated a pair of pants that just look like they are too short for you. This pair is obviously supposed to be shorter.
Ankle Pants: Pixie Printed | Chino | PlusYou gurls did great yesterday with all your Labor Day plans guesses. You guessed it….I am going to the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam!!! Here is another teaser! Not only will I be going to the concert this Labor Day, some of you might be joining me!!! Yep, my next giveaway will include tickets to the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam this Labor Day. So, go check your schedule and be sure to stop in daily for the details that are coming.

Do you remember where you purchased the monogrammed pendant from the labor day post? I can’t seem to find one any where and it is perfect with the Plunder necklace (which I ordered after reading your blog;).
That pendant is by Monarch Inspirations, and I bought it on the square in Marietta, GA at a little coffee shop.
Where have you been all my life?!!!
I stumbled upon your blog yesterday and I am now your biggest Canadian fan!

This is so soft and feminine looking. Love the accents especially the party nail!!
What a fun week for me. Grey (yes, the Brit edition) is a favourite and frequent choice for me. I loved the bit of pale grey pattern pants earlier this week. Thanks for all the inspiring combinations! Have a good weekend. ?

I’m always on the lookout for a pretty tank to wear under a cardi and yours is a winner. Love the pleated peplum. I’ve been to a few festival type concerts so I know you’ll have a great time. Who are the headliners?
