Blah, blah, blah!!! Usually, when I see those words, it is like you’re saying something, but all I hear is blah, blah, blah. However, the reason that I am saying those words today is because that is how I feel. Yucky, with a capital Y. It is funny how you can feel great as you head to bed, and then the next morning, you are feeling puny.
I am not sure if I ate something that disagreed with me or had a small stomach bug, but I am just feeling crappy. No pun intended. Lol! I had intentions of going to the grocery store, cooking chili and vegetable soup to put in the freezer, and writing a couple of posts since I will be busy Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I have a hair appointment tomorrow, and as you can see in the photos, I am in dire need to get my hair colored. Y’all, if I don’t get to go to my hair appointment, the blonde police will come and get me.
So, I will say a prayer and cross my fingers that I feel better sooner rather than later. Let’s get this post started by telling you about the clothing that I am wearing. After all, this is a blog about clothing, and that is why you read my posts. Lol! I especially love wearing a color block sweater with jeans! This long-sleeve color block loose knit sweater is pretty dang cute. I love clothing that has a color block design, and this color block sweater comes with lots of options from which you can choose. The reason that I picked this one is that the four colors in this sweater are colors that I wear a lot, and I know that I will have things that will go with it. I especially liked the caramel and navy color together because I knew that it would look great with jeans and boots. I am wearing a medium in the sweater, and it fits perfectly and has plenty of room. Here is another color block sweater that I wore recently, and it has been one that everyone seemed to love.
I knew when I got the Deanna Vintage Gold Necklace in Golden Obsidian that I would get a lot of wear from it. It is the perfect fall color, and I love wearing a long necklace with sweaters. This necklace is 30″ long with a 2″ extender, and the chain fringe adds a little fun and whimsy to the outfit. The Margot White Abalone earrings are out of stock, and I am not sure if they will re-stock them. The multi-strand magnetic Ryder Bracelet is one that you are seeing me wear a lot. I wear this one so much because it has mixed metals, which makes it easy to mix and match your jewelry. Unfortunately, it is out of stock, but you can sign up for an alert when they get it back in.
I’ve been trying to try different brands in my clothing. I am guilty of getting in the habit of choosing the same brands repeatedly, so I am deliberately trying to broaden my horizons. This is the first pair of Lee jeans that I’ve ever purchased. Some of you may be shocked by that since you wear Lee all of the time, but I’ve never tried them. These modern series “curvy fit” boot cut jeans persuaded me that this was the pair for me. I liked how they felt on, and they fit me perfectly. The size that I am wearing is a size 10, which is my usual size for jeans. These jeans have some stretch to them, but they don’t seem to bag so that it a good thing. I am wearing the color majestic in these photos.
I don’t even know the name of this Louis Vuitton handbag. Lol! This Louis handbag was one that I purchased a couple of years ago from a website called The Real Real. That is a luxury consignment website that sells lots of nice clothing, jewelry, handbags, etc. The reason I like that website is that they authenticate everything. I usually carry this small Louis Vuitton or the Neverfull. The Neverfull was an incentive gift to me. I set a stretch goal for myself, and once I reached that goal, I purchased the bag.
There is a sure tell-tell sign when I like something. I had been looking at these UGG Ankle boots and longing to try them for a while. Finally, I decided to hit the Add To Cart button, and I loved them when they came in the other day. I ordered the darker Pinewood color (comes in 2 other colors) because I knew that I planned on wearing these in the snow, and I might get the lighter color filthy. The reason that I had been eyeing these, other than the fact that I knew they would be comfortable since they are UGGs, is that they feature a waterproof suede upper and seam-sealed waterproof construction. That is very important if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. PLUS, the tread on the rubber sole looks like it would make it easier to walk on rainy or snowy surfaces. These boots are on sale now and are cheaper here than any other place that I’ve seen carrying them. I ordered my usual size 9, and they are a tiny bit big on me. But, since I would probably add a thick pair of sock if I am wearing them in the snow, that will probably be fine.
Oh, I forgot to tell you the tell-tell sign that says I like something. I took these photos on Thursday, and on Saturday, I received a huge box full of other items that I had ordered. Guess what was in the box? Yep, I had ordered these boots TWICE! Lol! It looks like I am going to be returning that pair.

Here are a few of YOUR favorites (according to the purchases)
I’ve already taken advantage of Prime Day and bought a couple of the “pre-prime day” specials that they have had. I have my Christmas list already made out with a budget for each person, and I have a wish list made out for me in hopes that some of it will go on sale. I am getting prepared; saving money is a game with me. Lol!
