Accessories can make or break an outfit; they are the icing on the cake. Sometimes all you need is a great piece to make an outfit go from ordinary to extraordinary. Today I’m showing you how to elevate your style with stylish accessories.

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories – Statement Jewelry

Kendra Scott Paperclip Necklace

Jewelry is a great way to elevate your look. For those of you who’ve been reading this blog a while, you know how much I love Kendra Scott jewelry. This necklace has been everywhere lately. It’s simple, but so chic!

Panacea Large Multiband Wrist Cuff

This combines two of my faves – gold and a cuff. Even with a pair of jeans and a plain white shirt, this cuff would make the whole outfit look polished.

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories-Scarfs

AllSaints Silk Scarf

Years ago I worked with an older woman. She always wore a scarf under her button-down, almost like an ascot. I had never worn them till then, but I loved the way she always looked so classy! It’s an easy, and inexpensive way to upgrade your look. This black and white AllSaints just screams chic to me. If chic were to scream. lol.

Nordstrom Pleated Scarf

Isn’t this gorgeous?! It’s just on a plain, no big deal, shirt but it looks amazing with the addition of the pleated scarf! I love the muted colors and the detail of the small pleats. This is the type of scarf you could wear over and over again.

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories – Belts

Madewell Perfect Leather Belt

Everyone needs a good, solid, leather belt. Check yours and see if you have frayed edges or wear on the buckle. This Madewell belt is a definite basic staple that you want to include in your wardrobe if you don’t have one.

Calvin Klein Reversible Belt

This belt is reversible so you can wear it in white or the snakeskin print. I love the buckle and the width. If the snakeskin isn’t your favorite, it also comes in black/brown and white/black.

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories – Sunglasses

Moscow Cat Eye Glasses

Sunglasses are a great way to add some polish to your look. I love these from Nordstrom, and they’re only $30 dollars! Cat Eye glasses look good on almost everyone, but they’re especially great on round and triangle-shaped faces.

Square Keyhole Glasses

These glasses are simple, chic, and oh, so inexpensive. They are only $15 dollars from Target! Plus, this style looks good on a variety of face shapes. You can wear these if you have an oval, square, rectangle, or oblong face shape!

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories- Purses

Faux Leather Crossbody Bag

This bag looks expensive but actually is very reasonable since it is on sale for under $45 dollars. I love the black-on-black look. It has a convertible chain strap so you can wear it at different lengths.

Straw Crossbody Bag

If you’re heading for the beach or just out to lunch with friends, this bag will have you looking polished and together. It’s practical, and a great size. The best part is it’s available at Target and only $35 dollars!

How To Elevate Your Style with Stylish Accessories -Watches

I love wearing the watch I bought last year at the Nordstrom sale. It was an absolute investment. But there are a lot of styles that don’t have to break the bank.

Two Tone Stainless Steel Watch

I know that a lot of you stopped wearing watches when phones because so prevalent, but a beautiful watch always looks stylish and chic on your wrist. This two-tone stainless steel watch looks very similar to the one I’m wearing but at a MUCH lower price point. is very feminine. It is so much more chic than a phone; let’s be honest.

Caravelle Leather Strap Watch

Watches don’t have to be gold or silver to be chic. I love a nice leather band! It’s perfect for elevating a casual look. Wear your jeans, a white shirt, a scarf, and this watch, and you’ll look amazing! It’s a gorgeous look for only $75 dollars. Not bad for something that you’ll get to wear so often!

Elevating your look with accessories is a great way to look your best, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot! What’s your go-to accessory?

  1. I love your post and all that you do! keep up the great work! I love accessories especially in Fall and Winter. I use to wear a watch all the time but somehow got away from it. Thank you for the reminder of how stylish they look. I would like some inexpensive rings too but wouldn’t know what to pick out

  2. I still wear watches. My favorite brand is Anne Klein. They last forever. I wore a Fitbit until I began to feel like I had carpal tunnel like it was affecting my nerves. I’m also into Kendra Scott jewelry. Did you know that she gives 50 percent off jewelry on your birthday month? At least at Dillards.

Hi Tania, I am glad you had a good weekend! I have been following you for a few years now on a suggestion by my adult daughter. She worked at a clothing manufacturing company in NYC and they followed you! I love your suggestions. I am 66 years old and trying to stay current! I love your Sunday posts too! Keep up the good work. Thank you.
