Easy and Fashionable Ways to Wear Green On St. Patrick’s Day
You know I love a holiday that involves fashion and when it’s based on a saint, even better! Even if you don’t celebrate by going to parades, drinking green beer, or having corned beef and hash, you can rock the color of the day. Today, I’m sharing easy and fashionable ways to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day!
Easy and Fashionable Ways to Wear Green On St. Patrick’s Day – Shirts
I am not a “the glass is half-full” gurl…I’m a “the glass is running over” one instead! If there ever was a shirt that suited me, it would be this one!
I always think everything is going to work out for the best, and Joe is one who believes in preparing for the worst, just in case. We make a good team since I’m believing for the best, but he has us prepared just in case the outcome is something different.
The tee above is cute, but it might be chilly on St. Patrick’s Day. If that is the case, adding a denim jacket or a cute cardigan would work.
I love this playful, fun Shamrock Sweater. It reminds me of the black sheep sweater that Princess Diana wore years ago. That sweater had all white sheep and one black sheep. This sweater would also be cute to add a button down shirt under it for added warmth and interest.
Let’s start with an obvious one. This Lucky Irish T-shirt is so cute. I love the sequined shamrock! If you don’t love it but want a t-shirt, please check out the link. There are almost 40 different options. There are SO MANY cute ones. I chose this because I like a lot of bling but I could have gone several other directions.
If you don’t want to be too obvious or are looking for something you can wear beyond St. Patrick’s Day, this shirt is for you. I love the bell sleeves with the elastic cuff, and the deep green is gorgeous. It’s a very affordable $35 dollars, and it comes in a ton of colors, both solids and prints.
Easy and Fashionable Ways to Wear Green On St. Patrick’s Day – Dressy Options
Wowzer! This is so pretty. Need to get a little fancy on St. Patrick’s Day? This dress is for you! It’s so feminine. I love the pleated skirt, the flirty cuffs, the keyhole neckline, and especially the Swiss dot pattern. Like the others, it comes in a variety of colors.
One of the things I like about this skirt is that not only could I dress it up but pair it with some cute sneakers and a cropped sweater, and it would be casual and chic. Reformation is a brand I’ve purchased from Nordstrom through the years, and I’ve always been happy.
Easy and Fashionable Ways to Wear Green On St. Patrick’s Day -Accessories
How gorgeous is this scarf?! It’s 100% viscose, but it’s going to feel super soft like cashmere. This would look great with even the simplest of outfits. Throw on a white shirt and a jean jacket with this scarf. Instant classic. You’ll be the hit of the festivities, St. Patrick’s Day and otherwise.
If you’re not a fan of plaid or want something a bit more dressy, this deep green pashmina is perfect. This scarf is a great size – 80″ long, including the tassels, and 27″ wide. It would work as a scarf or a wrap. Pashminas are very versatile. Like almost everything I’m linking to, this comes in many other colors and is around $25 dollars.
I posted about the popularity of brooches earlier this year. They are a great way to add a little color and oomph to your outfit, without breaking the bank. They’re not just for grandmothers anymore! This brooch is fairly large at around 3 inches long and 2 inches wide and is under $10 dollars!
Oooh la la! If you really want to make a statement, get this beautiful leather crossbody from Coach! This is not a huge bag, so if you’re the kind of person who carries everything but the kitchen sink, think again. It measures 7″W x 4 1/4″H, so keep that in mind. I love it, but I don’t want you to be shocked when it arrives. 🙂

Verse Of The Day
Ephesians 5:1-2 NIV
1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Your hair style really is great.
Love all the green
Happy St. Pattys day!
You look adorable in green! Thank you for all your tips and suggestions. Sometimes it’s hard to find the right style.
I wish you would describe your hair cut and how you style it.
I don’t know how to describe my hair cut. The next time I go to the hairdresser, I’ll try to ask her and film her styling it.
Love the shamrock sweater.
That shirt is just precious on you!
Love St. patty’s stuff
Cute clover T shirt
Wishing you the luck of the Irish!
So many cute options. I like the two tops that you are wearing and I really like the Amazon top with so many options. We don’t usually do anything, but I have a couple of St. Patty’s day tops and earrings that I rotate depending upon the weather. I usually dress up with a top and earrings for all the holidays. We go to Arizona for spring training every March now and this year I do plan on enjoying a green beer on St. Patty’s Day. I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Amazon apparel. It was a place I never thought to look for clothing before, but you have enlightened me. I just got a couple of tops that you had previously mentioned and that I had saved in my “for Later” cart. I hope Joe can start doing more, but also that he can take the time to enjoy not having to do anything. That can be nice too.
Love the shamrock sweater—co cute!
love green, I’m starting to add it to my wardrobe. I just ordered the paid scarf, wearing it with a pair of jeans and a white shirt as you suggested.
As a stickler for detail, I should point out that although both the shamrock and clover are good luck symbols, the Irish shamrock has three, not four, leaves.
The optimist tee is awesome! We won’t do anything special on 3/17. I hope that PT wasn’t too bad for Joe today. Mine was a bit painful.
He ended up not going. We were almost at the place, and he got sick at his stomach. He must have eaten something that didn’t set well on his stomach. We rescheduled for Monday instead.
I LOVE all the “green” ideas!! St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ is just a little bit overlooked!! Great ideas!!
Love green!!
Blondes look great in green. You look darling!
Great Post. Love the shamrock sweater from the loft. Large is on wait list right now. we usually go to an Irish pub in town that has multiple bands playing. There is heated outdoor tents outside also. Always a blast.
Sign up for the waitlist, that means it will be coming back in-stock.
I don’t have any plans. Just another day for me. I have a lot of green in my closet. It’s my favorite color. It’s good to be an optomist.
I am ordering the Tshirt with the clover ☘️. Love it, and can’t wait for our local restaurants corned beef, cabbage and red potatoes! So good!
I only celebrate it in my kindergarten classroom. 😂 My oldest son was born on March 17th, so it was always fun to put a little shamrock spin on his birthday when he was younger. He’s 32 now, so he still might get a shamrock or two, but he’s outgrown the full-blown. 😜😂 ☘️ . . . I love that first tee so much!!! Of course, the emerald bell-sleeve top caught my eye, too! ☘️🩷
Joe’s birthday is March 15th. The Ides of March!
We have 2 grandsons (brothers) who were both born on March 15th. We always try to drive the 6 hours to see them in their shared birthday. This year they will be 14 and 16! My, they grew up fast and I haven’t aged at all😂
That is wild that they were both born on March 15th!
More green, I love it! Thx
No plans for St. Patrick’s Day but you have given us some great choices if I did.
Corned beef and cabbage is on my St. Patty’s Day menu every year and I usually wear something green, even if it is just a shamrock pin.
Tania, I LOVE your optimistic outlook on life!! Sometimes it takes a tweek of your attitude to remain optimistic but worh the effort.
Joe likes corned beef and cabbage, but not me. Lol!
Love the shamrock shirts!
Great post! I love this green color! Have a blessed day!
I love green!! Must be the Irish from my sweet late Grandma!! 🥰
Cute ideas!!
