DO YOU WANT FASHIONABLE AND AFFORDABLE SPRING FASHION
This post is sponsored by Walmart.
With Spring coming, so are a ton of events such as baby showers, weddings, graduations, reunions, Mother’s Day, and Easter. Those events usually require us to wear a dress, and if you are like me, dresses aren’t part of your usual everyday attire. If I am not going to get a lot of wear out of an item, then I don’t want to invest a lot of money in the item. Woohoo! Walmart to the rescue! You will see stylish, fashionable, and affordable fashion in this try-on session, so let’s begin.
I love this cheery shirt dress from Scoop. It has a navy background with white daisies with red centers. This dress has plenty of style, and I love the way that it moves with you as you walk. It is 100% Polyester, so it is very lightweight, and it swishes as you move. The dress comes with a self-tie belt, but I think this would also look great if you added a solid red belt, white belt, or even a navy belt.
The dress has pockets; I am a big fan of pockets and also breast pockets. I love a v-neck because I feel they are the most flattering. The 3/4 sleeves are also my favorite since I find them flattering too. I am wearing a large in this dress, but it is a little large on me. The great thing about having a belt is that you can’t tell that at all. I usually wear a size 12, and the large was a 12-14, so that is why it is a little big on me. Here is the link to the dress, and it is under 35.00.
These bright red shoes are sooo cute. I am a big fan of the material covered 3 1/2″ block heel and the open toe design. The asymmetrical sides make these shoes very unique looking, and these will get you a lot of compliments. The material is faux suede, and these have a nicely padded footbed for comfort. I am wearing my usual size 9 in these shoes, so I think that they run true to size. Here is the link to the shoes, which are under 35.00.
Do you know someone who is having a baby girl? Wouldn’t this be the perfect dress to wear to the baby shower or the hospital at the birth? This bright pink dress is another shirt dress for you, and it also has a self-tie belt. This dress is 100% cotton, and it is machine washable, which is a huge plus for me.
The dress has pockets, another huge plus, and the flattering v-neckline. This dress has cuffed short sleeves, which will be great for summer, and you can add a cardigan or jacket over the dress to wear it this Spring. I am wearing a large in this dress also, and yes, it is a tiny bit big on me as well. But, the belt makes the dress look like it fits me great. If I am going to have something fit tight or loose, I will choose loose every time.
I am glad that I could get a good picture of the gorgeous eyelet design on the dress. Did I mention that this would be great for wearing to a baby shower? Lol!
And, the great thing about this dress is that it comes with a detachable pink slip lining. Here is the link to this adorable dress, which is under 30.00!
These heels are a must if you can wear heels. I love the large 3.5″ block heel, but it is the padded footbed and the faux leather material that has sold me on these shoes. I had to recheck the website to make sure that these weren’t leather, they look that nice. Because this Chesnut color is a great neutral, you will be able to wear these all Spring and summer long. They have an adjustable ankle strap; however, these zip up the back so you won’t ever have to struggle with the strap after you get it right the first time. I am wearing my usual size 9, so they fit true to size. Here is the link to these great sandals, and they are under 35.00.
While I had on those Chestnut sandals, I decided to show you this dress this blue and white knit dress that I just got in. I loved how the dress moved and flowed, but I just checked, and I must not have been the only one since it has sold out. But, never fear, because I found another blue and white knit dress by the same brand, and I’ll link to that below.
I wanted to show you how easy it was to add a cardigan to this dress if the mornings are cool. The dress that I have on is short-sleeved, so this winter white open front cardigan is perfect for adding for a little extra warmth. You will be able to add this lightweight cardigan to anything, so this would be an item that you would be able to wear over and over.
Here is a closer look for you to see the cardigan and the ribbing on the cuffs. The cardigan is a fine knit material, and it is not a heavy cardigan, but it is enough to knock the chill off. I am wearing a size large in this sweater, and I think that it fits great. Here is the link to the cardigan, and it is under 15.00!

Walmart is a perfect partner for me on the blog. They were founded on the concept of everyday low prices, and that is still their #1 promise to shoppers. Walmart offers free 2-day shipping on most orders that are over $35.00 and also free returns. You can ship to your home or to your local store and return items there too. Walmart makes it very convenient for their customers, especially since most people have a store within 10 miles of their homes.
This post is sponsored by Walmart, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.
I purchased 3 of these dresses!! The maxi navy with white red flowers, the red shoes, pink eyelet, the short flouncy poppy dress! They are adorable!!
I love the look of all the long dresses! I was wondering where you got your beautiful circle necklace? Thanks1
Love that pink shirt dress. I don’t have a lot of dresses, so a dress might be a good addition to my wardrobe.
I ordered the he navy blue dress. Now I’m on the hunt for red shoes. I don’t want to high of a heel.
The pictures were exceptionally beautiful today! Love all the dresses on you
You look amazing in all of these!! Confession: Sometimes I don’t want to wear a dress more than a few times. These prices make that more possible. I’ve never bought a dress from Walmart but the poppy dress might be in my future. Love your videos!!
These are so pretty! Especially love the last one!

Do you need a slip under any of these dresses?
Love the blue dress the best. Since it’s warm here already, rayon is the perfect summer fabric. I just bought a pretty pink eyelet blouse for Easter. I’m pairing it with my white pants and pretty jadeite necklace. I wore dresses for years but my legs look like a LA roadmap so short OS out and I look like a hobbit in a long one at 5’3. : )
Tania, who’d a thunk, Walmart had such cute dresses. Fabulous styling and such cute shoes and cute patterns on the dresses. Great styling. Have a super weekend! – Amy

I ally like the last 2, but the pink one looks like an old people dress- don’t put that thing back on ?
It’s nice to see some stylish and really affordable clothes. Thanks for sharing these. These dresses all looked good on you! And I like the fun prints – very nice for upcoming warmer weather. AND who isn’t ready for that????
Loved today’s fashion show! Gorgeous and affordable. Thank you!
WOW!! I love them all! You look so beautiful in each outfit! Off to Walmart I go! Love your posts esp. try on Thursday!!
Love, love, love, love love the maxi dresses! Oh how I wish WalMart Canada had the same stuff!
I love all of these dresses, especially the poppy one. Walmart has really upped their game. From fashion and shoes to beauty and home designs. They need to start selling petite sizes though….
Red poppy dress with red shoes is my fav. So cute! Being short, that may be the only one I could actually pull off! You look great!
Teresa I have the same problem at 5′ nothing they are all way too long!
Such pretty dresses! I’ve seen some cute things at Walmart, unfortunately they always seem to be too big, even in XS unless I buy from Juniors. But loving these! Such great prints!
This is your best post ever. The dresses are fantastic (my favorite is the pink eyelet). You look great in every single dress and your descriptions are detailed and helpful. I’m a big fan of Walmart fashion.
Woohoo!!! Best post ever?!?
Thanks for putting lower cost and attractive dresses on your blog. Don’t wear dresses that often and since all of the above are affordable it’s a nice option.
Barbara, I love wearing dresses, especially in the spring and summer. If you wear a dress, then it is one and done. No having to choose a top or a bottom, you pick one item and then head out the door.
I checked some of those dresses out at Walmart yesterday and passed on them, now I’m gonna have to go back and try them on! They all look great on you!!
It does help to see clothing on a real person. Even mannequins don’t do the clothes justice.
Oh my gosh, Tanyia, You look great in every single dress here! I love them!
Thanks, Tara!
where did you get that necklace? the one which has a round diamond look to it. am in love with it!
My necklace is a vintage find that I bought on Etsy. You can type in vintage rhinestone diamond necklace and see what you can find.
You look great, but I never wear dresses and avoid heels. “Boob” pockets on any item of clothing is a big no for me. I mean why, just why? I’ll be glad when this fashion trend goes away. WalMart has definitely stepped up their fashion game. I have purchased several items from them recently.
I think that Walmart’s fashions are really great and so affordable.
You look lovely and slim in all the dresses.
Wow! Thanks, Rhonda!
love the poppy dress, so cute.
Mary, that dress is cute and sassy!
Wow, I love all these beautiful dresses, especially the daisy dress and the red and navy animal print! The prices are wonderful…no need to have to choose between the two I like best. I can buy both! ? Nice to have affordable options. Wish I could wear those heels, they’re so cute!
Linda, I remember reading an article once where Oprah was trying to decide between 2 doormats. Then, she laughed at herself and said, “I can afford BOTH of the mats.” Lol!!!
These dresses are all beautiful! I can’t wait to get to Walmart! Enjoyed this session so much!
I am so happy that you liked the post!
❤️❤️❤️❤️ you look amazing in all of them, but my favorite is the daisy dresss! Love your hair – is it growing longer?!
You look gorgeous in all of them but poppy one is my favorite with red shoes is really a wow. ?
That poppy dress is so sassy! And, it looked so cute with those red shoes.
I thought the daisy dress was super cute also. I have a hair appointment next week, so I guess it is at its long stage.
Love these dresses!! You look beautiful in all of them!!
Thanks, Barbara! I thought all of these dresses were fabulous!
