Colorful Winter Outfits To Wear Right Now
This is the kind of post that gets me excited for spring because you gurls know I love bright colors! Unfortunately, it’s still too cold across most of the country to break out our spring tops and dresses, so I wanted to show you some fun and colorful winter outfits that you can wear right now. From cute, happy sweaters to bold-colored outerwear, this post is sure to put a little fun into your closet for the rest of the winter season.
Colorful Winter Outfits To Wear Right Now
Talbots
I love a pop of pink, especially this bold, vivid shade! This quilted bomber jacket will look great over a white turtleneck now and a white or black tee when spring arrives. If you don’t love bold colors, you can also grab it in khaki or black.
Blazers are becoming one of my favorite transitional layers. They do a great job of polishing off any outfit, and they look great over a blouse, tee, or even over a dress. You can also find this one in pink, a gorgeous green, ivory, and indigo.
Here’s a piece that you can wear now AND in the spring! Isn’t the scallop pattern so cute? Think of all of the colors and pieces you could wear with this like a black dress, an orange tank, a pink pant, etc!
How do we feel about the shade of green on this sweater, gurls? Green can be a flattering color for a wide range of people, but it ultimately depends on your skin tone, hair color, and personal style on if it works for you. Me? I love it, but I like all of the bright and bold green hues, from spring green to emerald and teal.
Chico’s
While we are on the topic of green, I thought I would move into some bright pieces from Chico’s because they have a lot of green right now. I love a wrap cardigan, especially when the weather is chilly outside. This one has a bandana print and a fun fringe trim.
If you like to keep your wardrobe more neutral, you can always add pops of color through your accessories like this green link bracelet or these hoop earrings. Plus, nobody is pinching you on St. Patrick’s Day if you have this on!
Avara
I shared some pieces from Avara in this new arrivals post, and many of you were excited to hear more about this brand. A try-on haul of all of these happy colors would be so fun! This cable knit sweater would be so cute for Valentine’s Day, but it could be worn again and again after the holiday passes.
This rainbow pom design sweater is absolutely adorable! It’s the perfect way to add a little color while still staying warm and cozy. I would pair it with straight jeans and white sneakers or a pair of dark denim flares with booties.
This Arden sweater is a great choice for you ladies who don’t love girlie colors! I think it looks so crisp and chic paired with white pants, but it would look nice with any denim.
Whether you’re heading out for a coffee date or just hanging out at home, this Mamie sweater is so darling! The chain pattern and the color combination are calling my name.
Other Retailers
I’m obsessed with this floral camp shirt from Ann Taylor! You could wear it with trousers and a heel to the office or church, or dress it down with a cardigan and your favorite jeans. Plus, the material looks lightweight enough that you will be able to keep it in your closet throughout spring and early summer!
Get ready to turn heads in this comfy sweater tee from Anthropologie! You can wear it under a neutral jacket or cardigan now and then by itself when spring weather starts to arrive. It comes in three other prints, but this polka-dot one is my favorite.
I haven’t shared many dresses lately, but you can absolutely wear dresses during the winter! This midi shirt dress from Boden looks great with booties now and with sandals in a few months. Add a blazer for warmth, and you’re ready to go!

That quilted jacket is so cute! And that floral top. Can you guess my favorite color?
The green bandana wrap sweater and the green link bracelet are both so cute and unique.
They both would help to brighten up a dreary winter day.
Love the sweater tee from Anthro!

This post inspired me to start wearing my colored sweaters and sweatshirts I bought last year. I need to put away my neutrals for a while. But I love camels and browns.
I love any of the hot pink right now
Love your painting! Pretty outfits! I will be glad for spring!
May I ask what size would you wear in the gorgeous pink Avara sweater? We are similar sizes. And….I loooove that sweater!
I don’t have that sweater. I’ve only bought a sweatshirt from them, and I bought a large because I like my sweatshirts to be oversized.
Beautiful bright colors!! Makes dreary winter days seems brighter.
Your painting is absolutely charming. You are very artistic. How did you learn to paint like that? I wish you could post a link for that – I want it.
Lol! I can draw or paint from a picture, but not from my mind. I have to be able to see it on paper, and not in my mind or in person.
I need to step out of the box and try more vibrant colors. Tania, I have the same skin tone and blonde hair as you do and you look so fresh and perky in the bright colors.
I love the Talbots green and blue sweater, especially with the blue pants.
Love these bright colors! They cheer me up when I’m sitting here on a snowy, cloudy, dreary day!
