Tennessee is wild and chaotic in comparison to the life that Joe and I have in Virginia. We usually sit in silence and work on computers. So, with all of the children talking at once, watching movies and shows on tv, my sister having to do work conference calls, and the dogs all deciding to bark at once, it has been anything but quiet. LOL! I believe that this is what is called…family!
Emersyn is in heaven here. Her cousin, my brother’s daughter, spent the night last night, and they have been inseparable. They haven’t seen each other since Emersyn was about 2 years old, so it was great to see them bond so quickly. Emersyn hasn’t ever been around dogs much; Lucy is terrified of everyone, so she has had a dog in her arms ever since she got here. They are all small dogs, and two of them are still puppies, so she is starting to beg for a puppy now. Haha! I don’t think that is going to happen any time soon. Lol! From far left is Millie, Crowe, Princess, and Finley, as well as Emersyn and Allison.
I have been in gray’s black and neutrals for most of the winter, so I thought I would brighten the day be wearing this fuchsia sweater. When I first ordered this sweater, I wasn’t sure that I would like the way that it would fit. However, I absolutely love the look, the fit, the color, and the neckline! I have always loved a cowl neckline, and this one is no exception. The longer sweater is excellent for wearing with jeans as well as with leggings.
The unique detail of this sweater would be the buttons. This sweater is relaxed and easy-going for an everyday look. I wore this as my traveling trip when we drove to Tennessee. The sweater is 50% off right now, and here is the link.
The color of these boots is beautiful. I call it Fawn because it reminds me of a baby deer. The website calls it Praline, but either way, it is gorgeous. These booties came in the mail the day before we left, and I couldn’t wait to show them to you. I am a sucker for a pointed toe, and I think the neutral boot would look great with dresses, pants, jeans, or leggings. I know that a lot of you don’t like a higher heel, so I am in search of cute flats. These boots are by Sam Edelman, and I have enjoyed the few shoes that I have from this brand. Here is the link to the boots, and they are on sale for 30% off.
Flare jeans, or boot cut jeans, look really good with boots under them. I love wearing skinny jeans so that I can tuck them into my knee boots, but occasionally I want to be “tuck free.” These jeans are by one of my favorite jeans brands, Kut From The Kloth. Here is the link to the jeans.
