The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall
Can you tell that I’m excited about fall? I’ve been writing so much lately about sweaters and transitional clothing that I think some of you are praying for winter, lol. For those of you who don’t love sweaters, or live in climates where it doesn’t get super cold, don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten you! Today, I’m sharing the best accessories for a fashionable fall.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Scarves
I’ve always loved wearing scarves in the fall. I’m always cold, and a scarf is handy for keeping your neck warm or wrapping around your shoulders. This is a lightweight scarf, and I wanted to wear it with this super soft turtleneck sweater to bring out the blue tones.
Not everything fall has to be orange. I do love a traditional fall leaf color palette, but I know some of you prefer neutrals, so I thought I’d start with this pretty black-and-white plaid. Shh. Don’t tell anyone that it has pale pink, too. This is an easy way to incorporate fall into your wardrobe without spending a ton of money. It’s just $12 dollars and has a 4.4-star rating!
Now we’re talking fall! I LOVE these bold colors. This scarf is oversized, so you’ll be able to wear it as a scarf or a shawl. Wouldn’t this look great with some brown corduroys or skinny jeans and boots? This would be a great gift for a person with a fall birthday, too. Wrap it around the handle of a cute bag and throw in a fall candle, and you’re set.
Finally, here’s a scarf in muted fall colors for those of you who don’t like bright hues. I’m talking to you, Sister! I have to say I really do like the camel colors in this. It would look great with a camel or white wool coat.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Shawls
Navy is a great fall color! Navy is actually a great ANYTIME color, but not everyone thinks of it when considering a fall wardrobe. This shawl/ruana should change that. It’s not only great in navy, it’s reversible! If you don’t love this combination, there are many, many others.
How about a lovely camel pashmina wrap?! This is billed as a “cashmere feel,” which means it’s really soft without being really expensive! This would be great with jeans, but throw on a pair of black pants and a black turtleneck, and you will be so CHIC. No one would believe it was so affordable.
If you don’t want the “feel” of cashmere but rather have the real deal, then this Mongolian Cashmere Wrap is for you! I have this wrap in the oatmeal color, and it is so soft and perfect for traveling on a plane, etc.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Headgear
Hats are still very much a thing! I’ve been sitting out in the cold watching football games for a while now, and I’m sorry, but I’m not a beanie type of girl. Maybe if I were to go on a ski trip, but I just never look good in them. You either love hats or you don’t. A LOT of people love this one.
A headband is another easy and inexpensive way to incorporate fall into your wardrobe. These work with short or long hair and would be great paired with a cute pair of fall earrings. You wouldn’t wear a pashmina to the gym or while running errands in your joggers, but one of these would look super cute. If you want to go with something even more fall-ish, try them in velvet!
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Bags
I have looked at a lot of tote bags recently. I love the stitching, the cut-out, and the flat handles. It’s a great size, too. It comes in several other color combinations, but it looked much more expensive than the price tag shows.
For those of you who prefer a crossbody bag, this faux crocodile is gorgeous! This is not a huge bag. This is a throw in your phone, some lipstick, and a small wallet and go walk around town bag. If you’re like me and carry everything but the kitchen sink (and your shoulders pay for it later), you might want to use this for special occasions. It also comes in black, tan, and a bunch of other colors.
I’m sure some of you prefer leather handbags over faux leather, so I wanted to include this shopper tote in Italian Leather. I love all the compartments and that the bag has feet to protect it from the floor. I have several bags by Quince, and they are all high quality. This bag is more expensive than the others, but you would swear it is more expensive than it is.
The Best Accessories For A Fashionable Fall – Jewelry
Not long ago, I shared these earrings, and they were a huge hit, so I thought I’d show you a similar necklace. This is very dainty, but oh, so pretty! Wouldn’t it look nice with a crisp white shirt or against a black turtleneck? This is also very inexpensive. I love this necklace, but I’d probably spend the extra money and get a nicer chain.

I love this verse” When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
So true.

I love scarves; they can really dress up a casual outfit and they do add some warmth. Win Win!
Love having a scarf on hand in case it’s cold at work!
I have really enjoyed watching your fashion hints. Your approach to every day fashion is relatively low key and accessible for me.
I know its truly Fall when the turtlenecks arrive and beautiful scarves add just the right touch for a classy look.
Love the Montana tote for $27.99–definitely looks more expensive. Thank you for sharing Psalm 30:5; I especially like the King James Version “Joy cometh in the morning”. You are the best!
I love looking at the different versions. They each have a little different view to offer.
Back in my school teacher days, I wore scarves several days a week, but not so much since retirement. I may need to buy a new one to see if I still love them like I used to. Thanks for this post!
l love wearing scarves in the fall and winter. I love hats, wished I thought I looked good in them.
I don’t look good in hats either. 😒
I need scarves now more than ever, I listen some friends and had my hair cut short 🫤. Now my neck is cold, no hair blanket to keep it warm. Thank you for showing affordable scarves, for those prices I can buy few.
That’s what friends are for. 🤣
I love all of the scarfs
Oh, yes for the ruana and pashmina!!
I love scarves but I am never really sure how to style them or if they are still fashionable. I enjoyed this post and it has inspired me to get out some of my scarves!
Carol
Carol, there are some items that never really go out of style, but they might not be the “in” thing either. I like scarves, so I wear them. Lol!
What a beautiful picture of the stunning colors in the sky! Thanks for sharing some great accessories that help add fall to our outfits without breaking the bank.
I had to go inside and grab my phone since I had never seen a sky that color before.
Love the scarves and headbands. Fall is my favorite!
I absolutely love the blanket plaid scare shown. To me scarves make a boring, dull outfit look like a fashionable put together outfit. Fall is the perfect time to use scarves
Karrie, that’s how I feel about scarves too.
Love the “cashmere feel” wrap. Can’t believe the price! Will definitely need to have that in both camel and red! The Italian bag also caught my eye. Great post. Thanks.
Janet, the bag is such nice quality.
I love the scarves and shawls you are showing. I have so many scarves I shouldn’t be allowed to buy another one.
Loved the Chicos scarf, Will go with several tops I already own!
The sky has been beautiful this past week! I love that cashmere wrap. I always carry a pashmina with me while traveling, especially flying. Even the less expensive ones are warm and cozy.
Laura, I agree, I never fly without a wrap!
Scarves are a great accessory. Chic, but also can add a little extra warmth with the chill of fall.
Love the tote bag and it is in my cart!
Thanks for the post. I have several scarves but hardly wear them. I can’t seem to style them, never looks right.
Fall is my favorite! Love the scarves.
What a GORGEOUS sky!! I love the jeans and all the accessories! Thanks for posting! 🙂
Landy, I’ve never seen one that color before.
I love scarves but can’t seem to make them work for me. I’m never good with shawls either. I feel like I fight them to stay up. :(((( I did put one of the purses in my Amazon “wishlist” so maybe I’ll get that as a gift!! Fingers crossed!
