Is my husband the only one who wakes up in a foul mood, and then spends the rest of the day trying to pick a fight? I would be willing to bet that every woman who has a husband or previously had one, raised their hand. I just don’t understand what makes them this way, especially since I know that we are always sweet as pie and honey wouldn’t melt in our mouths. Lol!

When I walked into the kitchen this morning, I was greeted with a snarl. The morning only got progressively worse when we tried to decide if we are going to go to the condo on the first of July. That discussion got moved to another day. Lol! Then, he decides that he wants me to cut his hair. Oh boy! Joe is picky on regular days so I could just imagine how bad it was going to be today. We got out the clippers and vacuum attachment, and then he asked for a hand-held mirror. Yep! It was going to be one of those days. The vacuum cleaner was so loud that we sat it outside the door so that we could hear, but it was still quite noisy. So, when I got ready to start cutting his hair, I thought the clippers were already on since he handed them to me with the first guide already attached. After a few swipes on his head, he grabbed the clippers out of my hand and turned them on. Lol! I laughed but he said a few choice words about pulling his skin. Haha! I told him that he was being a baby, and kept on cutting.

After many, many, many adjustments, he was finally satisfied and pronounced it a great haircut. I tried to get him to let me shave it completely, at least that way I wouldn’t have to cut his hair again for a LONG time. LOL! I sure hope he wakes up on the right side of the bed tomorrow.

Alert! All of you would live in warmer climates need to pay special attention to this top. It is so lightweight and thin that you will not be hot in this top. Also, the top is a linen blend fabric which is a must for summer months. I love this classic navy color, but it also comes in sand, which is the color of the top that I wore yesterday. See HERE. I like that the top comes already made to do an effortless front tie. This is a slimming look, but it can be hard to achieve if the top is not made to wear like that. The deep v-neck is also a slimming detail, so this top gets several “thumbs up” from me. I am wearing a medium and it is plenty roomy. HERE is the link to the top.

New jewelry alert!!! I LOVE the “love” jewelry! The love necklace doesn’t show well in the photos, but it is covered in tiny little crystals for a small amount of bling. This necklace is from the Styled Collection and HERE is the link. I was so excited when I found the love bracelet that almost matches it exactly. It is from Lilly Pulitzer, and I love the fact that it is adjustable. It can fit the smallest wrist and also larger ones. HERE is the link to the bracelet. The Bamboo hoop earrings are also from Lilly Pulitizer. I love the tropical vibe of earrings, and I think that they are a perfect size. The Rue long necklace finishes the look and frames the love necklace. I like wearing a long necklace, especially when wearing a shorter necklace. HERE is the link to the necklace.

Are you a fan of stripes? I do love stripes, especially if they are vertical. The different shades of blue are soothing, and they will look great with a white top also. Plus, I also think that wearing a bright pink or yellow top would look fabulous with these pants also. The cropped length is perfect for summer, and it shows off your sandals or sneakers nicely. I am wearing a size .5, which equals a size 6. Normally, I wear a size 10, but with Chico’s, I usually need to size down. HERE is the link to the pants.

The no-tie slip-on sneakers are my go-to for the summer. I have always loved white sneakers since I was a kid. Maybe it was the Keds that I used to wear that makes me a fan. These Sperry sneakers are more modern and updated, and I think the no-tie version is a stroke of genius. Have you tried any no-tie shoes yet? I ordered these shoes but ended up sending them back because they were too big. I had to size down in these and order an 8 1/2, instead of my usual size 9. But, once I sized down, they fit me great.
