50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSI don’t know about you, but I can never find the exact length I want a dress to hit on my leg. I love a Maxi dress, maybe that is why. They take all the guess work out of the equation. I prefer wearing an above the knee dress. This dress hits “just” above the knee, if could have been a little shorter and would have been fine.50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSMost of you probably live where getting someone to hem your dress an inch or two is no big deal. That would not be the case here, we are limited on a lot of resources others might take for granted. I am sure there is someone here that does that kind of alterations, I just do not know who they are. I really need to find someone though, I have several dresses that need to be hemmed, and a couple pair of pants that could use some darts. I know when I watched What Not To Wear, they altered almost everything. 50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSI like this hot pink dress. I like all the little cut-out designs that gives it a textured look. It is probably not the most flattering style for me, I could use a little more flare in the hip area to help create curves. I am built more like a ruler, so I like items that enhance and create curves. This dress is from Old Navy, and it is several years old.

Old Navy Dress: Cream | Similar | Stripes |Plus50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSI have Plundered out in today’s outfit. Let’s start with the necklace and go down. The necklace is called the Tarah. I bought this necklace before I started being a stylist. A friend of mine came into work wearing the necklace, and I bought it off her neck. It is that gorgeous! The large pearl drops in the Paige bracelet, matched the pearl drop of the necklace, so I thought it would go well in this look. I like that it has a toggle bar closure, it makes putting it on and taking it off much easier. The teardrop bracelet with all the rhinestones is call the Edith, and the turquoise stone bracelet is called the Eunice. Both of these bracelets have been very versatile. I do sometimes have a problem getting credit from the website, so it you place an order, please let me know. I am going to try something different, here is the website: http://www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens that will have you shopping with me. Try copying and pasting this in the address line, and hopefully it will work. If not, then type in my stylist number 241007 in the stylist box at checkout. I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout also. 50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSHave you seen these shoes before? I told you that I had already worn this gorgeous pair of Nina Shoes three times. Here is look number two. I am so glad that Nina Shoes reached out to me, I think my choice was perfect. YOU also can get in on a fantastic deal, by typing in 50isnotold at the checkout to receive 20% off your purchase. This code is only good through August 7th, so don’t dilly dally. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSDon’t you just love it when a look comes together? I added my cobalt blue tote to highlight the blue in the necklace. This is just a cheap tote, and I think I picked it up at Old Navy or TJ Maxx. I can’t remember, but I think it was under 20.00. I have gotten a lot of wear from this tote, especially for the price I paid.

Blue Tote: Similar | Similar | Similar50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSI wore this outfit to church, and I threw on this longer cardigan before I left the house. It is usually cold, so I try to have a sweater somewhere handy. If it is warmer, then I can always take it off, but I hate sitting there chilling.50 IS NOT OLD | ABOVE THE KNEE DRESSI took a few pictures with Joe after we got back to the house. Don’t you just love the laughter and the foot raise? If you can see the reflection in the window glass, you will see that he is appreciating some of my curves. Haha
