A TWO OUTFIT TRY ON HAUL FROM CHICOS

It’s Thursday, so I thought I would do a try-on haul. Today, I’m showing you two different looks from Chico’s, and these looks will be great for now and for this spring. I don’t care what that Groundhog saw; I’m predicting an early spring. I figure that I have about as much chance of being correct with my weather prediction as Phil does. Lol!

While typing the paragraph above, I decided to check the weather forecast. My weather is supposed to be mild for the next 10 days, but I saw that the midwest was bracing for a winter storm. I sure hope everyone keeps their power and stays warm if the storm hits. I love snow, but I hate how it can disrupt people’s lives.

I will say this is one of my favorite looks that I’ve worn in a while. The thing that I like about this outfit is it is casual and elegant at the same time. This is the perfect outfit for wearing when you’re unsure what to wear. Unless you’re going someplace calling for a dressy look, this outfit will work.

I would describe this tapestry print blouse as beautiful, elegant, classy, and silky. The blouse is 100% polyester, hence the silky part. It is a nice length and is long enough to cover your rear, but you can also tuck it in for a more polished look. The sleeves are my favorite part, and the cuffs have contrasting welting and buttons. The welting goes across the shoulders on the back, but I didn’t get a picture of that. I am wearing a size 1, and it fits great and doesn’t gap at the buttons or cling to my lumps or bumps.

Quilted jackets are trending and having a “moment.” I usually steer away from quilting because I think it adds extra pounds to me that I don’t need. However, this quilted car coat is lightweight and somewhat slimming. I love the length, and it is a great spring coat. It adds just enough warmth without adding bulk.

As you can see, the length in the back has good coverage. This will be one of those coats that you grab for everything. It can be worn on errands, walking the dog, out to lunch, or to work. This coat will become your go-to spring coat. I am wearing a size 1, and it fits great.

I tried to get a close-up photo of my blue drop earrings, but I failed miserably. Lol! At least you get to see the coat up close. I was trying to decide if I should roll the cuffs to show the shirt underneath, and I ended up with one rolled and one down. Hahaha!

This outfit feels more like a spring to me. It might be the classic navy and white tunic, or it could be the alabaster pants that give the “springy” feel. It was 55 degrees outside when I took these photos, so the outfit seemed appropriate for the weather.

Navy and white are one of my favorite color combinations. It looks crisp and clean with a tiny bit of a nautical vibe thrown in for good measure.

Let me start with the important details about this navy and white striped tunic. NO-IRON! My job here is done. Lol! Okay, if I am being honest, the bow detail at the cuffs swayed me, but the no-iron fabric is sure a nice bonus. I love the classic look of this top, and I think it can be worn casually and dressy. I’m wearing a size 1, and it fits great.

Here is a close-up of the bow detail on the cuffs. Also, if you look closely through my hair, you can see the blue cubic zirconia hoop earrings.

Here is a back view, and you can see that the tunic is a great length and covers your rear.
