A STYLE THAT WILL GET LOTS OF COMPLIMENTS

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has a Corgi dog on it with white flare jeans and a denim button up This post is sponsored by Walmart.
I wore this adorable sweater to work yesterday, and as I walked in the door, a passing customer told me how cute my sweater looked. Yay! Comments like that always make my day. But, the day was still young, and I didn’t know it at the time, but I had a bunch more compliments on my style coming my way.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has a Corgi dog on it from Walmart This lightweight sweater is perfect for spring. It is the perfect weight for cool days, but not too hot for when the sun begins to shine. As soon as I saw the adorable Corgi dog, with its cute smiling face, I knew that I needed this sweater. The crown on his head has rhinestone embellishments. The sun was shining in the car window, and the rhinestones threw sparkles all over the ceiling.

The rearview takes the sweater from cute to outright adorable!!! The sweater has ribbed trim on the cuffs, the hem, and the neckline. I ended up having to size down to a medium, and that one fit me perfectly. The sweater is machine washable and is under 16.00!!! Here is the link to the Corgi sweater, and I have linked to a couple of other sweaters that are also in the cute and adorable category.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has a Corgi dog on it and a lightweight denim shirt by EV1 from Walmart When the weather is cooler, you can add a button-up shirt under the sweater like I have today. This light wash denim shirt by Ellen DeGeneres is lightweight and has a silky feeling. The shirt has two front pockets and roll-up button tab sleeves. I like rolling up the cuff over the sweater and letting the hem hang loose. The shirt is 100% Lyocell and machine washable. I am wearing a size medium for size references. Here is the link to the light wash shirt.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has on a pair of white flare jeans by Sofia Vergara All of us who remember the 70s are going to love these flare jeans. Everyone needs a pair of white denim jeans, and this pair is sure to get you lots of compliments. I am obsessed with this look! It has just the right amount of flare to the hem, and it helps to balance out those of us who might have larger hips. The first thing that I checked for was to make sure that the jeans are not see-through. I did the test, and they passed with flying colors.
Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has a Corgi dog on it with white flare jeans by Sofia Vergara, and a denim button up These have all of the modern details that you are wanting. They are high-waisted with a button fly closure, and they have the perfect amount of stretch in the material to make them comfortable. These jeans run long, with a 33 1/2″ inseam. I like a longer length because I like wearing heels, but if you want to wear flats with these jeans, then you might consider getting the shorter length. These run true to size, and I am wearing my usual size 10. Here is the link to the jeans, and another pair that I ordered in a light wash color. Also, you will want to check out all of the latest denim trends available at Walmart by clicking here.

Fashion Blogger 50 Is Not Old is styling a coral sweater that has a Corgi dog on it with white flare jeans by Sofia Vergara, and a pair of ankle boots I thought that adding these open-toe ankle boots as my shoe choice was perfect since they are in the same color family as the dog’s face. The mushroom colored boots are by BareTraps, and you probably already know that means the shoes will be comfortable.

The multiple cut-out features, the ankle strap that has studded details, and the chunky heel are some of the details that are perfect for the lady wanting style with her comfort. These run true to size, so you should be fine ordering your usual size. Here is the link to the booties which also come in black, leopard, and snakeskin. These shoes would be great with this outfit also.

Love the pretty coral color for spring! I like narrow leg jeans because i move better in them! Plus I have to wear flats so it works better for me but I remember “bell bottoms” in HS! Bought them at the Army Navy Supply store!

I am always fascinated by the clothes people are able to wear and call “work attire: And I get excited to try and update or freshen up my limited options work wardrobe. My work environment is conservative and has requirements of black or navy blue, no Jean’s, no decorations, no open shoes or heels, no jewelry. There are so many variable work places and many have gone to more relaxed dress codes.

Your workplace must be pretty relaxed and that’s fun to dress for. I dont know your job but at my job I wouldn’t make it past the door or allowed entry if I wore something like this. Surely I am not the only one who struggles and wants to look fashionable while still needing to adhere to conservative dress codes.
      Sigh. . .the search continues.

I’m a huge dog lover and that sweater is soooo cute, especially the back! Those jeans bring back memories of the ones I wore in high school, except back then they had no stretch to them so I’d have to lie down on the bed to button them up. Remember when we wore our jeans so long they had to cover our shoes and get all frayed and ratty on the bottom, or was that just here in Canada? ??

Janice, we loved wearing those long ratty, frayed jeans in the States too! It was so cool in the 70’s and the bigger the bottom the better. I cringe now thinking about what all we drug home off the streets in those frayed hems!!

This sweater just makes me smile. I love dogs anyway! And I am happy to see you in white denim in winter because I guess that means it is okay to wear it. I’ve always heard no white before Easter or after Labor Day but I live at the beach so it is kinda hard when we have 70’s in February! What are your thoughts on the wearing white rule?
