A SIMPLE WAY TO BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY
Happy Friday!!! I am feeling much better, and my energy level is sky-high. You know that I love reading/listening to self-development books, and I recently read one that was short and sweet. I have the Audible app, and I purchase the audible books from Amazon and listen to them when I walk, get dressed, or can’t sleep at night. To keep from bothering Joe, I will insert my AirPods so that he never knows that I am even awake.
The book that I listened to is called The Energy Bus (here is the link) and only took me a little over two hours from start to finish. I am usually a “half full” kind of gal anyway, but this book was very motivating about making sure that you don’t have energy vampires around you. An Energy Vampire is someone negative all the time, and they can suck the life right out of you. I bet every one of you can think of someone you know who fits this description. By the time that you finish the book, you realize that you have the choice of how your day is going to unfold. You can’t control events that happen in your life, but you can control how you respond, and that will control the outcome. If you have read this book, please comment on your takeaway.
It would be hard to negative is such a bright and colorful jacket. Adding a bright and colorful piece of clothing is a simple way to brighten up your entire day. This hot pink jacket/blazer is by Court & Rowe, and this is a real show-stopper. The gold crested buttons add a ton of elegance to this jacket. It seems like I am on a button craze lately, did you see my post on Wednesday? This jacket has a striped lining, but I didn’t get a photo of that. You are bound to be happy in this jacket, and I am positive that you will get noticed. Lol! Here is the link to the jacket.
I haven’t been in a jewelry mood lately, but today’s look called for me to bring out the bling. I’ll start with the earrings from Kendra Scott. These are the Sophee Drop earrings in gold, but they also come in silver, rose gold, and gunmetal. I love the shape of these earrings; they are so flattering for your face. The Easton hoops in silver caught my attention, and I just placed an order for those. I loved the sleek geometric shape of those, and I can’t wait to get them to try them out. Here is the link to the Sophee earrings, and here is the link to the Easton hoops.
The mixed metallic Y necklace is from White House Black Market. I wore it with my New Year’s Eve outfit, but it has sold out. I’ll link to several others that I saw that I liked. The last things that I have on are my bracelets. I am wearing the Logan cuff from The Styled Collection, the Lelani gold link bracelet from Plunder, and the Maggie gold filigree bangle bracelet by Kendra Scott.

GIVEAWAY!
So many of you have messaged me about trying to find the fountain of youth. As far as I know, there is no such thing, but I do believe that I have found the next best thing. I am amazed when I look back at my photos when I started blogging because I think that I genuinely look younger. Who wouldn’t want that? Does anyone want to look older???
I am going to be giving away a “mini” or a travel size regimen to some lucky winner. Go to HERE and take the solutions tool to be entered. This will tell me which regimen you need if your name is picked. Today is the last day to enter; the winner will be announced on Saturday’s blog post. Please, do not enter if you are already a current customer of mine or anyone else’s. I want someone who has never tried the products to get their hands on these products.
How is your memory???

I use my cell phone, and also chrome.
I love this outfit. Especially the jeans!
Love the shoes but they are only available in sizes, 7, 8 and 9. Bummer!
Your classic look is fabulous.
I hate that, Marcie. These shoes have been around for a while, and they are cute. I see why they might be getting low in stock.
Your pictures aren’t loading
Karen, tell me what kind of device you use to look at my post, and what server you use. I use Chrome and it is working fine for me.
What a beautiful bright jacket and looks lovely w those cute jeans and fancy shoes! Certainly brightened my day (and it’s grey and foggy here). Now can you tell me what R& F products you’ve been using since you look amazing and radiantly young?
I am glad that you liked the outfit, Charlcy. I use a lot of R+F products! I use Redefine (the anti-aging regimen) most of the time, and I add the eye cream, Active Hydrations Serum, Intensive Renewing Serum, and Lash Boost every day.
Denim looks terrific on you! You chose the perfect pink for your coloring, and the “V” neck t-shirt is so flattering. Great styling!
I love wearing v-neck shirts best. They are very flattering to almost anyone.
Love how your jacket dressed up the look. I have similar jacket that I need to start wearing with jeans. I live in PA, to cold to wear flats w/o hose, what is your suggestion? Didn’t have nude socks yesterday & ended up with no socks with flats, it was chilly.
I would probably wear boots instead of flats while it was cold. You can add the flats as the weather starts to warm up in the Spring.
Love this outfit! Simple but classic – and the bright pink is simply fabulous!
I agree, Barb! These are the kind of outfits that I like best.
