I am starting to get spoiled now since the sun has been out for three days in a row! I am beginning to stalk the weather channel for the upcoming 10-day forecast because it is a big week for me next week. I will have all of the grandbabies here, all five of them, and it is also Emersyn birthday. So, we have lots of swimming in the pool on the agenda, and I need the cooperation of the weather. Can you imagine the commotion of five grandbabies couped up in the house??? Lol!
Last year when they were all here, we had a craft project to keep them occupied one day. We found some sea creatures that were easy to color, and the adults drew the pictures, and we let the children color them in with paint. After the canvases were all painted, we sprayed them with shellac clear sealer so that they would not fade or get dirty since I was hanging them in my pool house. I think they did an excellent job with all of the pictures, so maybe we need to see if we can expand on this theme. Here is the picture, after I finally got them hung up this year. Those are also their footprints in the “sand.” From left to right, you have Jett’s, Huttson’s, Emersyn’s, Matti’s, and Beckham’s.
This is another muted color top that I am loving. I am not sure when I fell in love with muted colors, but for now, these are something that I find myself reaching to put on. The leaf print design is everywhere in the stores, and I am sure that most of you have seen this print somewhere before. I like how this is not the traditional palm leaf or the bright green leaves that you usually see. The different shades of peach and gray are a different spin on the leaf design, and I like being different. I bought this at the Loft Outlet, and I also purchased this leafed top which was a different spin also. Here is the link to today’s top.
The Janine earrings are a white feather with a pearl accent. These are a 3.75″ drop, so they are showy, without being obnoxious. Lol! These are lightweight, and they can be worn with a lot of different looks.
The Liesel leaf pendant is dainty. It sits in the void of my v-neck tops, which is a perfect length for me. I like that the necklace is gold, instead of it being a bright color like I see in the stores. By it being gold, I can wear it with a lot more options.
I have on three bracelets for today’s look. The white 2-strand bracelet is the Nevada. The Amazing Grace, gold and white bracelet, is from the Randee set, which includes four bracelets. The small gold beaded bracelet is part of the Stacia set, which is also a set of four.
White pants…you need them, take my word on this matter. I don’t care what brand you buy, but please at least try a pair if you haven’t already. They are crisp and clean looking, and they go with almost anything, so they are very versatile. I own so many pair of white items that I couldn’t even begin to tell you which pair that I am wearing. Lol! Here are a few that I like for you to look at. Also, the shoes that I am wearing, and have been wearing a lot lately, are also from the Loft Outlet. Here is the link to those.
When I went to visit my sister a couple of weeks ago, she decided that she wanted to do a podcast with me. She is always pushing me out of my comfort zone! Anyway, without her telling me what we were going to be talking about, she loaded up some app on her phone and proceeded to ask me questions. It was pretty fun doing that, and it was pretty funny too since it was our first time trying something like that. I have had a few people tell me that we sound alike, but I don’t hear that. Anyway, if you have nothing better to do, take a listen and tell me what you think. Click here. I can’t even listen to it because I hate hearing myself talk. Is anyone of you like that? I can’t believe that I sound like the recording sounds. Ugh, I sound so dorky!!!
