It is Monday, and it is time to get this week started off on the right foot. My son that lives in Tennessee, will be coming to visit me in a couple of weeks. That means that I get to spend a whole week with my grandbabies!!! I am super excited about them coming, but I am also super stressed. Why you might ask??? Lol! Good question, so let me tell you my problem.
The problem is that I have too much stuff! My clothing has exploded into three bedrooms, plus Ashleigh still has a ton of stuff here also. The bedrooms look like a bomb has gone off in them, and I have to have the bedrooms company ready in only a couple of weeks. I also have a lot of larger items that need to go too, so I had planned on having a huge yard sale to get rid of some of the items. But, the monsoon season has set in, and it has been raining for over a week. I have a HUGE wedding tent, but who would want to traipse through wet grass and get in and out of a car to shop a yard sale? So, I have started a FaceBook group where I am going to be listing some clothing and jewelry. If you want to be part of that page, then click here. I’ll start listing items sometime today, or at least that is the plan. Haha!
Today’s look is all about leaves. I liked this top as soon as I saw it because of the dark navy background and how the leaves “popped” against the navy. I wear a lot of sleeveless items in the summer months, but they will be able to be worn into the fall and winter also since you can add a sweater or jacket to the look. I should have shown you the back of this top since the print does not go all the way around. The back is solid navy, and it does have a keyhole tie back. I am wearing a large, but it is too big for me under the arms, so I am going to have to return it for the medium. It is machine washable, and here is the link. BTW, it is also on sale for 55% off the retail price.
I wanted to pull out the Salmon/peach color out in the top, so I added an old pair of earrings that I had. These are no longer available, but I found several that have this color that would work just as well. They are the Trina, the Kelsie, the Ivyanne, and the Alana. Instead of continuing with that color to my bracelets, I went with cream/white instead. I added the Lucille, the Ramona, and two from the Stacia set that is sold out.
I have fallen for these flipflops. In the summer, I like to have a black pair and a white pair of flipflops that I can throw on and head out the door. I have a black pair of Tory Burch, and this is my go-to for my white pair. Both of these shoes look like basic flipflops, but they have a detail that makes them special. These look like vinyl or patent leather, and the sole is gold. Here is the link to these shoes.
I don’t know what is wrong with my coloration lately. These pants are not pink; they are salmon/peach colored. Anyway, the pants that I have on are an old pair that I bought from Old Navy, and they are the Pixie style. I wear this style a lot, and I have learned what size fits me best. If the pair has spandex in them, then I size up one size, but if they are the chino style, then I order true to size.
