A List of The Best Planners For All Occasions
It’s that time of year! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE a new planner. It’s full of opportunity and hope, lol. It’s funny, but everyone has their favorite type. They also make a great Christmas gift. Today, I’m sharing a list of the best planners for all occasions. Each of them is a little bit different, so hopefully, you’ll find something to love.
In case you missed them, here are a few other posts I’ve done about the New Year.

I use the Google Calendar, and it is what keeps me on track with my blog, bills, appointments, trips, etc., but my DIL swears by a paper calendar, and she says there is no better one than the Happy Planner. I’ve not used that one, but the Clever Fox Planner Pro is one of the best ones I’ve used, so if you like a pen-and-paper calendar, try this one out. I like that it is updated because even though I’ve had this one for a couple of years (I started using Google Calendar instead), I can gift it to someone, and it would still be fine.

This is a great all-around planner. It’s both a weekly and a monthly planner. The months are separated by hardcover tabs and have a pocket for storing papers, receipts, and documents, and a durable elastic band to keep everything secure.
When I asked family and friends for their favorite planners, BLOOM came up repeatedly. This is billed as a passion and goal-setting planner. How? It has life coaching worksheets and inspirational features to help set and achieve goals for the year and includes a personal mission statement prompt and yearly goal-setting page. You’ve got to love the fun stickers, too!
This is a chic and sophisticated planner. The cover is gorgeous! It’s a weekly and monthly planner and includes a monthly budget page to help monitor and manage your finances. Uh, yes, please! Each month includes a budget page to help keep track of income and expenses. I’ll just have to hide it from Joe, lol.
How can you resist an organizer that says it has an “Agenda to Improve Time Management, Productivity & Live Happier?!” This comes in two sizes, compact which is 5.7, and A5, which is 5.7 x 8.5 inches. This color is called rose gold but it comes in many others. Unlike some of the others, it comes undated, meaning you can start using it at any time of the year without wasting a page.

Need a planner for work? The LUX PRO is a to-do list management planner/work planner that includes a place for setting and planning your goals PLUS a daily journal. I am always looking for more space to write notes. It also has an hour-by-hour planner view.
A leather cover automatically makes me feel more adult, lol. This is another undated weekly planner, but it has some great pages such as Contact, Yearly Goals, Self-Discovery, and A Vision Board. This is a little larger, at 8.5 x 11, which I like. It also comes with stickers. Who doesn’t like stickers?!
I can’t believe that I haven’t seen a horizontal planner before. It makes so much sense! This is a monthly and weekly planner, and it includes dates. It also has a place for your To-Do list, Notes, and Goals. While I think the horizontal is a great idea, it also comes in the traditional vertical as well.

Need a planner that will fit in even your tiniest purse? This pocket calendar is for you! It’s only 4×6 inches but includes both a monthly overview and a weekly. It even has a place for notes and personal goals. The daily checklists are on dry-erase paper so that you can use them over and over. How clever!
Finally, for those of you who need day-by-day details in your planner, here’s an undated daily planner with 210 pages! It’s an A5 planner, spiral bound, and has a hardcover. One of my favorite things about it is that it includes a place to record your meals and water intake, as well as a prompt to write something you’re grateful for. How cool!

Back in the day when I worked I used the FranklinCovey planner and loved it. Have always loved planners. Since retirement, I use a large paper calendar that has my family photos along with iPhone calendar. Works for me, can see at a glance how busy week/month is in a quick glance and get alerts via phone.
This speaks to my type A heart so much!!!
Love to start the new year with a new planner to add all my events and activities!
I have become addicted to my planner, it is a life saver now.
I have used Prayer Journal for Women Planner by Shannon Roberts. My husband found it for me on Amazon a couple of years ago and I love it!! It not only has a monthly and weekly view but is full of scripture, space for prayer requests and answered prayers. Each month it has a spot where you can fill in that says; teach me, guide me and thank you. Price is very reasonable at under $20 usually.
I use the calendar on my phone now. Depend on it to let me know where and when I need to be!!
I ordered the Clever Fox to use for the first time! Thank you so much for all these ideas. I’m thinking about the small one for my purse. it would be so handy for doctor appointments, eye appointments, hair, dental, and church. Thank you so much for these ideas. We all need to get organized !
I hope it works for you. You have to be consistent, but once you get started, it will make everything much easier.
These are nice but I probably wouldn’t use them. I prefer a small calendar to hang on my fridge with a magnetic clip. I got one free last year. It’s big enough to write on too. I use both my Google calendar and the paper calendar.
I still like a paper planner. I ise the clever fox one and a clever fox password book.
Great planner choices!!
I used to use a planner a lot, then I started using my phone calendar. I really would like to have a new planner. Thanks for the ideas
I loved getting new planners when I worked but now that I’m retired I just use my phone and a calendar. There are so many great options in your post!
There are soo many options for planners. These are some good ones. I need to share this with my daughter too.
Yes a great planner is what we all need! Thx
