A FRONT TIE SHIRT THAT IS EASY TO WEAR

 

Every once in a while, the child that lives inside me wants to come out and play. When that happens, then I act silly, dance around the house, and sing at the top of my lungs. Believe me, you do not want to be with me when that happens. Lol! That is also when I want to go to Disney Land and ride a roller coaster. My inner child is fun, and I wish that she would come out more often.

 

 

So, when we were out driving around looking for a good spot to take photos, I stopped at this playground. Hannah, who took today’s photos, looked at me like, “really?” Lol! I hopped out and immediately started having a blast on the slide, and she grabbed a couple pics that I’ll show you below.

 

 

I love wearing linen clothing in the summer, and this blue topaz front tie linen shirt really caught my eye. The color is so pretty, and I love buying a long sleeve top and rolling up the sleeves. The makes it versatile, and I actually like the look of rolled sleeves.

The front tie is easy to tie with this shirt since it has the ties already you. I try doing this same look with a regular shirt, but the ties never look as nice as the shirts that are made to tie this way. The top is made with 55% linen/45% viscose and is dry clean only. I am wearing a size large and I love the loose fit on me. I think the shirt is on backorder, and won’t ship until July, but you can go ahead and grab it now. You don’t get billed until it actually ships.

 

 

Kendra Scott just sent me this jewelry, and I couldn’t wait to show it to everyone. I emailed them on Tuesday asking when it was going to launch so that I could give all of you the links. The mixed paracord look is so vibrant and fresh-looking, and it looks very summery. The Masie collection has several different options to choose from and three different color palettes.

The Masie Open Frame earrings and the Maise Friendship bracelet are both in mixed mint paracord, which is a strange way of saying, turquoise. I also love the coral mix paracord, and I might break down and order them. But, I think that I’ll order that color in a different style like the Masie Hoop earrings, and the Masie gold cuff bracelet. The Elisa triple strand necklace has a matching Matte Iridescent Mint Glass stone that looks great with this set.

 

 

I wear shorts a lot, and I like wearing all different styles of shorts. The thing that determines the shorts that I keep and wear is how they fit. I consider a couple of different factors such as length, leg opening, crotch comfort, and the view from the back.

My favorite inseam for me is between 5-7 inches. This white denim pair is 7 1/2″ long, and I really like the length of these. These shorts sit slightly below the waist and have the traditional 5 pocket style. The leg opening is great and isn’t too tight. Since I have large thighs, I try to stay away from anything that hugs my legs too tightly. I also don’t want my shorts to fit me too tight around the hips since that can cause issues, and your pockets won’t lie flat. Plus, if your shorts are too tight, then you are usually uncomfortable in the crotch area, and that is a big no-no.

I am wearing my usual size 30 in these shorts, so I think that they run TTS.

 

To finish my look, I added my Keds platform sneakers and a pair of Lilly Pulitzer sunglasses. The sneakers have become a go-to for me this summer. I love the leather, and how crisp and white they look. My other favorite pair is my Sperry Crest Vibe sneakers, but they are not leather and they get dirtier than the Keds. I am wearing my usual size 9 in these, and I think that they run TTS.

The Lucia sunglasses are an old pair that I’ve had for several years, and they are not online any longer. There are a few pairs on eBay that are available, but I’ll link to some similar ones that you might also like.

 

I told you that the kid in me would come out occasionally! Lol!

 

 

Being silly makes you laugh! Laughing makes you feel younger! Feeling younger is a very good thing!!!

 

 

When is the last time that you laughed so hard that you thought that you were going to pee in your pants? Lol!
