A CRISP LOOK
Happy Monday everyone! I am so fired up and ready for the week to start. There is nothing on the agenda and I don’t have any plans but I am excited. I can’t put my finger on the feeling but I just feel like I am busting with excitement. Man, I need to go buy a lottery ticket or something. Are you gurls planning me a surprise party or did every one of you sign up to be a business partner with me? What is going on????This is one of those days where you just want to pinch yourself. One of those very rare days where you just go around singing,
“Wo! I feel good, I knew that I would now
I feel good, I knew that I would now
So good, so good, I got you”
Now that you have James Brown stuck in your head how can you not have a great day? You can thank me later. Lol! I love waking up with a great attitude. That doesn’t happen ALL the time and I am sure Joe will tell you that he prefers the happy me too. What is that saying about, “If momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy?” I am really not that bad but being around someone in a good mood is so much better.
I know all of you probably just ignored everything I wrote up above in your haste to read about this shirt. I can’t blame you, I was salivating for it to come in the mail. The girls at work all had green eyes the day it came in and they were really jealous when they found out that it was courtesy of Purple Poppy. I did a post for Purple Poppy back in January (here) and you could see that I loved that top. Erin contacted me again and asked me if I would be interested in trying one of their new lines called Comfy. She had me hooked with just the name. Lol! She sent me a couple pictures and I LOVED this top. It is so crisp, does that make sense? I love the way it is made and how it hangs. It is very roomy and comfy, imagine that. Hahaha! I am wearing a large but I could have easily worn a medium also. This is very roomy. Did I already say that? The top is called Comfy Uneven Hem shirt. That sounds like I picked out the title. Navy and white are one of my favorite color combinations and I adore a large check print. Win, win, win!!!
I chose to wear pearls as my accessories. The earrings are called Dorthea and even though they look heavy they are actually light. The necklace, however, is not as light. It doesn’t weigh a ton but it is heavier that some. It is called the Lottie, or maybe it was the Dottie, I can’t remember. It was a Monday madness special and not in the catalog. There is “rumors” that it might make an appearance in the upcoming Plunder Spring catalog but they are just “rumors” right now. I think the new catalog will be available April 1st and I am anxious to see all the new items.
The pearl magnetic bracelet is not very clear in this picture, sorry. It was one of the Monday madness specials also. If you are wondering about where to find the specials just go into the site like you normally would when you are shopping for an item. Scroll down the menu tab and it is listed toward the end of that list. There are still some specials available so be sure to check them out before they get sold out. The bracelets I have on the other arm are a mixture of Alex and Ani and the Lindy bracelets. I have a “T” and an “S” in the Lindy.
Only two days left for all you bargain shoppers who want to take advantage of the fact that I am offering 15% off Plunder on orders over 50.00, (excluding shipping and tax), I will send you a check for the discount. In fact, I have already mailed out over $350.00 in discounts for all the purchases that have been made over the last couple of week!!!
I had to open a new party because the last one had gone over the limit. My new party is www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania2
I liked wearing white jeans to continue the crisp look. I have some longer white pants but I am trying to force spring to come early. I even put on open-toed wedge espadrilles to get the “feel” of spring in my outfit. It is really warm so everything worked out.
My beautiful hot pink leather Vera Bradley tote has come out of the closet. I have missed her so bad. Lol! I really do love this tote even though I didn’t think I would carry it much. I was wrong, I carried this all the time last summer. It was one of my favorite purses. This is the medium size, there is one even bigger. Lol! This is called the Ella.
I took this shirt with me to New Orleans the other day. I even took my white jeans but I forgot to take shoes to go with the outfit. I was really bummed that I didn’t get to wear it then. I will be wearing this a bunch this summer even if it doesn’t hit the blog. I do occasionally wear an outfit and it not be on the blog, just not very often. Haha! I can see this looking cute with walking short, crop leggings, and even with a bright skinny jean. Head on over to the Purple Poppy and check out all their cute items.I don’t think Joe will be reading my post today so I am going to tell a story on him. If I already told you this then just ignore me because I am half-way crazy. Lol! Anyway, when we were in New Orleans the hotel had one of those 5X mirrors mounted on the wall at eye level. Joe walked in and about died. I put my makeup on with one of these mirrors so I know what to expect but he has not had to deal with them before. Let’s just say that after that experience he has agreed to at least think about letting me put Rodan and Fields on him. The problem is that he won’t let me take a before picture. Lol! If I ever get him to let me document his journey then, of course, I’ll have to show everyone. DO you think that is why he won’t pose???
The Rodan & Fields “Lash Boost Bundle Deal” will be ending soon. This is a 20% discount on the purchase of a regimen of your choice and a Lash Boost bundle. If you signup as a Preferred Customer (or already are one) then you will receive another 10% discount. The enrollment fee to become a Preferred Customer is 19.95 and I will reimburse that back to you PLUS I will send you a mini eye cream. This is a pretty sweet deal!

I love the pattern of the top and the whole look, except for the shape of the top. I’m more traditional when it comes to blouses, I guess. But the colors and patterns and accessories are beautiful together.
This look is fabulous on you, very chic!
Just ordered this blouse, I absolutely love the lines and crisp colors. Can’t wait to get mine, hope it looks half as good on me as it does on you.lol
Jan, you will love this top. It is very cute on.
My husbands saying is Happy Wife, Happy Life! Love the shirt and the pearls. I wear pearls whenever I get the chance, not just for dress. Will be looking around for a similar shirt. It is beautiful but very pricey!
The top is so cute but not the price!!
That is a super look on you! Love it all–that great pop of color from you bag and the pretty necklace and bracelets. A+
Love the top…..but not the price!
I just can’t do white until April. Sorry !
Love the necklace.
Wow! I really like this! Perfectly put together! Thanks for your inspiration.
Would you mind sharing how tall you are Tania? I’m new to the blog. I’m asking because I love those white crops and have a very difficult time finding crops that don’t make me look frumpy. I’m discovering that the narrower leg is the key. Yours are perfect. I’m 5’3″ and am in both Petite and Regular camps, so crops are really tough for me to find.
Karen, I am 5’6″ tall. I know what you mean about the legs. I prefer mine skinny all the way down. Thanks for following ?
Nice outfit! Like others have said, it looks crisp and fresh!!
SO cute!!! Love the plaid and necklace.
I don’t know if I can say, “Come on, Spring!” because we had three, yes 3, frigid days in January, and I don’t think overnight temps have hit lower than 39 or 40 since, and have really been mostly in the 50s. So, yea…I think it’s already here. I’m wearing sandals today. It was 62 at 7 this morning. Usually February is our nastiest month. Crazy.
This may be your best look yet. Love it! I ordered the shirt quick before they ran out.
My colors, and you really do look springy and fresh and “joyful”!! Have a happy day!!
Cute, vibrant and springy! Love it on you!
Cute fun outfit as always, Tania! But give your hubby kudos – I don’t know many men who would offer to be photographed in a woman’s blog as much as Joe has! And he’s already very handsome! You make the prettiest couple!
I SO LOVE THIS TOP!! IT LOOKS SO GOOD ON YOU……….
I agree with Sherri, nice top but I’d never pay $130. for it!
Gorgeous! I adore that top and you do look very ‘crisp’ in it along with the white crops. This is one of you best looks in recently. I’m definitely going to give Purple Poppy a visit and peruse the offerings. Thank you for sharing this find.

Love navy and white – as you said about the blouse, the whole outfit looks very crisp and sharp. Well done!
I’m envying you your open-toed shoes, here in NY we’re not QUITE there yet….I was still scraping frost off my windshield this morning in very warm closed shoes 🙂
Ha, the 5x mirror. I took a recent short trip and the hotel had one of those mirrors and I was UB-SESSED. I was like LOOK AT ALL THIS STUFF ON MY FACE! I couldn’t go out til every hair was plucked, etc.
Have a great day.

OMG! The top is beautiful and yes, crisp! You look amazing in this outfit! When I get up in the mornings I can’t wait to get my coffee and see what you’re wearing!
I’m sorry I missed your call in last night, but I was at a family birthday party.
I love that you paired your pearls with this shirt, Tania!! I’m starting to write an article for Sixty + Me about pearls because I know most of us think of them for dressy only (especially for weddings). But they look fabulous with this shirt!! Maybe I should include you in the article, too?

I love your look. I copy your pictures often and when I do, wow lots of compliments.
I am the 58 year old grandma to the kids in the neighborhood. Many of them have no family in our town.
Would you mind putting together a few outfits that are sneaker casual? I’m not a go to the gym daily kind of girl.
But I would love to see some examples of what to wear, on a daily casual basis.
I get calls to watch sleeping babies, while mom goes to the bus stop. Outfits like that.
Thank you so much!
Oh, how I can I not LOVE that fabulous shirt, Tania – I would wear it everyday!!!! LOL!!!!! Great earrings and necklace, too!!!!! Another wonderful look!!!!
Have a great day!!!!

Ha ha! To start Monday off singing is impressive Tania! As an apple-shaped woman, I have to be careful about shirts like that. To get them to button they can look like a tent. But, if they’re not a tent, then they won’t button! Argh! Anyway, it looks great on you! Have a great week!

Stunning and unique! I love the pattern. I can see why you call it crisp. Would definitely wear this!
I LOVE your outfit!!!! I am kicking myself for not buying that necklace when I had the chance. The top is terrific, too.
Love, love, love that top! Great outfit and have a fabulous Monday!
I LOVE this top!!! I just went to the site to order …. but at $130.00… I’m afraid it’s too expensive for me 🙁 was hoping to would be under 50.00 or maybe even under 75.00… but over 100.00…I always knew I liked the “finer” thing 🙂 …. but it looks amazing on you!!!
How crisp, fresh and stylish, I love the top! Brilliantly accessorised too!
You look great.
Oh wow – I love that top and necklace they both look amazing – especially together. So crisp and fresh.
I am also wearing tartan today – must be the day for it – haha! Here’s my look today: http://funkyforty.com/find-next-seasons-trends-sale-now/
