50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSOrange is not a color I normally wear, I have never been attracted to the color. I have nothing against orange. I like oranges, I like peaches, and I love beautiful sunsets, BUT I am not a huge fan of wearing orange. If it wasn’t for wanting to cheer on the Tennessee Vols, I might not have even wore this dress.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSI haven’t had that much to cheer about the past few years with the Vols. They have not played like the football team I remember watching in the past. I have attended a couple UT games, and they are really rememberable. It is unreal when you go to the stadium, and hear Rocky Top sung by thousands and thousand of fans. I am not a dancer, and I have no idea how to flat foot, but you just let that song come on and I will hit the floor. WOOOO!50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSI wore this dress to church on Sunday, I know it is not the color of UT orange, but it was as close as  had. I bought this dress years ago at Old Navy and I have NEVER even put it on. I think I tried it on, and declared it “yucky!” I am glad I didn’t return it, because I now declare it “adorable!” I am pretty sure the dress did not morph, I am really no different in size, so it must be a change in attitude. I like the babydoll look of this dress, but I might have thought it was too young looking for me before. I am glad I am taking my own advice now, Age Is Just An Attitude, And Mine Is Young!!!

Babydoll Dress: SimilarSimilar | Similar | Plus50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSI am still going to be rewarding my Plunder customers this month with a necklace to be given randomly to two different ladies. I thought you might be interested in which necklaces I am going to be giving away. One is the Sue, and one is the Back to School Special. AND, because I really love my gurls, I have decided to also include the matching earrings to both of these necklaces.

I am wearing a new necklace called the Skylar. This is a very long necklace, it adjusts from 40″ to 44″. I have doubled the necklace, and I am letting the charm dangle in the front. This would look cute with a backless dress also, dangling down the back. The charm says Grace.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSYou still can’t see the charm very well, but at least you get a close-up of the cross. The pearls on this necklace are not round, they are more like really large seed pearls. The necklace has mixed metals, the pendant and parts of the chain are in silver, but parts of the chain and the hang tag, are in the burnished gold. I think the dark color reminds me of the oil-rubbed bronze colors that are so big right now.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSThe leather bracelet I have on is called the Tylie. It does NOT come with any pendant. The pendants are sold separately, and there are several to choose from. I have on the Pray pendant, I think it is one of my favorite purchases yet. Some ladies have been also attaching the pendant to necklaces, but I haven’t figured out how to do that yet.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSI am carrying my hot pink leather Vera Bradley Ella tote. I have carried this all summer, I know you are sick of it by now. Sorry, it has just been my go to tote, PLUS it went perfect with this outfit. Who knew that pink and orange went so good together? I DID, that’s who! Remember when I wore it here?

Hot Pink Tote: Same (only in a small) | Similar | Similar | 50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSOh my! These pumps are pure perfection! I LOVE these shoes. I was so scared when I ordered them, I thought that I might not be able to find anything to wear with them. HAHAHA! Was I ever wrong. I have worn them multiple times, and I have even worn them once or twice that I didn’t take a picture for you. They are by Nina Shoes, and they are called Agenda. Guess what? I just looked and they are now on sale. You’re welcome. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSI love this cutesy look. Joe loved this cutesy look. Haha Who knew that stepping outside your comfort zone could be so much fun? You gurls really need to try for yourself. BTW, I forgot to tell you how to place an order for the plunder jewelry. I had to call and have 5 orders fixed today because their website is pretty confusing. New software will be coming the first of next month, and it is supposed to fix all the glitches. Till then, you type www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens in the address bar, and you should be shopping with me. Or you can go to www.plunderdesign.com and do your shopping, when you go to the checkout, you will type in my stylist number (241007) and I will get the credit. Both ways will work. Also, at the end of your checkout, there is a box that ask if there is a party. If you click on that, you can check Tania’s Party, and that would be great.50 IS NOT OLD | HOW TO WEAR A BABYDOLL DRESSRocky top, you’ll always be, Home Sweet Home to me. I may live in Virginia, but my blood still runs orange.

You look great in orange. That’s my favorite color– it never fails to lift my spirit.

Try those shoes with a little black dress. I saw someone wear similar shoes with a black dress the other night and it really worked.

  3. you rock every look and style you try!!! another awesome look!

  4. Love the outfit. I’m wearing more orange myself these days. My granddaughter is a Vols fan even though she is only 17 months old. Her daddy is from Tennessee and is a HUGE Vols fan. Since she was born he has sung “Rocky Top” to her to calm her down, and, I kid you not, it WORKS!! I’ve used it myself!! I may be a Kentuckian but I know every word to “Rocky Top”. Go Vols and Go Tania!!!

    1. That is too cute, Penny. You can pull for the Wildcats in basketball season. Haha

  5. Very cute dress, love the colour, I’ve got something similar that I recently wore and recollected why I bought it in the first place. x

LEGGINGS OR SOMETHING?? MAYBE EVEN AN OVERTOP , JACKET, SWEATER, ETC. TO MAKE IT NOT SLEEVELESS ALSO?? I KNOW I AM ASKING A LOT, BUT I LOVE THE DRESS!! THANK YOU….DEB

    1. This would look super cute with leggings. I have even saw where they are wearing dresses over jeans. I would play around with a printed legging or maybe a solid like ivory or navy.

  7. Totes adorbs! You look great and there are those SHOES!!!? Lookin good girl?
