29 Years and Counting

DSC_0019Happy anniversary to me! Oh, and Joe too. 29 years is a long time, but it is funny how fast it has gone. I would definitely do it all over again. Of course, we all know I’m not too bright. Lol!DSC_0012_2I love this infinity scarf. The colors are bright, but somehow fallish at the same time. I could wear this with all kinds of colors. When I was in the closet this morning, I held it up to several shades of blue, purples, gray, mustard, browns, and pinks. I love pieces that are this versatile. This magenta sweater was another find from under the bed. I really need to start looking under my bed more often.DSC_0012The jacket is one that I bought several years ago from GAP. Believe it or not, I bought this after I read a blog. Hahaha  But, I’ve never worn it. It just somehow ever seemed to look right with what I was wearing. Here is a similar one, just a different color. This bracelet is so cool. It is stamped with a lot of colors in a random design. I just thought it was interesting.DSC_0016I bought the scarf the other day at a little store here in town called Pretty Little Things. How cool is that name? Of course any scarf would work. This outfit breaks down to a sweater, jeans, a jacket, and a scarf. Pretty basic when you think about it.DSC_0017These jeans are Vigoss. I usually buy my jeans at Maurices, but I found these at Marshalls. They are Chelsea stretch skinny jeans, and when they say stretch, they mean stretch. DSC_0021I wore my favorite leather riding boots and carried my “old as the hills” Dooney & Bourke purse. You just can’t go wrong with either of those items. They are classic items that you can keep for a long time, so they are worth spending a little more on.DSC_0022My Becky Boo decided to say hello this morning. He will be getting a coat on after today, it is supposed to be in the 30’s tomorrow morning. He will love putting on his outfit, he does not like the cold.DSC_0023Starting the anniversary weekend right. A fire and a glass of wine.DSC_0024My wine is Pink Moscato, and I added some ice and Sprite. DSC_0028My hubby came to enjoy the fire with me. We had bought some firewood recently, so we were waiting to see how it would burn. Let’s just say this is a good picture. I think it might could use a little more “seasoning”. You should have seen me with the hair dryer trying to get the stuff to stay burning.

I hope you have a great weekend. Stay warm and say a  prayer for those in France.

I am never getting post emails even though I signed up twice. Any clue as to why this is happening?..

    1. Oh no Debbie, I’ll have to look into that. Thanks so much for letting me know.

  3. Well, I’m reading this on Sunday morning and our fireplace is on too! Chilly out there to say the least. Our fur babies won’t wear coats, although Izzy did when she was younger because she was such a skinny ninny and always cold, just like me! Wish I had fashion treasures hidden beneath my bed too! Lucky you.

  4. That’s a great scarf and I love the bracelet. You must be a veteran shopper. Well, you dressed up for your husband and he only wore a tee shirt. He sure looked comfy but you looked gorgeous.

  5. Happy anniversary and many, many more. Love the jacket I wish that my closet of clothing resembled yours, especially, the handbags. Great selection… looks like a Louis V.

  6. Love your outfit and your fur baby! He is sooo cute! Enjoy your anniversary with hubs…wine and a fire sounds about right to me…
