DSC_0013I see a lot of articles and blogs talking about “shopping my closet”. My outfit today is a great example of doing just that. This oversized cowl neck sweater is one that I have had for quite a while. When my husband and I wear first starting to date, I bought a couple sweaters to wear on some of our dates. I bought a brand new sweater (I have it stored away somewhere) to wear on our first date. I was so thrilled, and anxiously waited him to pick me up. Just guess where he took me? DSC_0012He picked me up and we drove to the college campus where he was going to school. He needed to go inside for a few moments and do something in the computer room. Three hours later we finally got to leave. By then I was tired and just wanted to go back to the house. Can you believe we not only had a 2nd date, but we got married? Lol!DSC_0009This sweater is one that I bought when we were still dating. Since our 30th anniversary is this November, that makes this sweater about 30 years old. I always wear it at least once a year. It never fails to bring a smile to my face.DSC_0008I am leaving to take my daughter to the airport at 3:30 in the morning. So, I am sorry, but this blog is going to be mostly pictures. Every piece in this post has been worn before, with the exception of the sweater. DSC_0011If you don’t mind, I would appreciate it if you would say a small prayer for my daughter’s safe travel back to Alaska.DSC_0005DSC_0015 DSC_0004DSC_0003If you want to know where something came from, just shoot me a comment. Sorry but it is 9:15 and I am off to bed. I promise tomorrow’s blog will be better.
