WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS

50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40Do I look thinner and healthier already? No? Well, I should because I am eating nothing but rabbit food. Lol! My supper last night consisted of carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, and some peanut sauce inside of a spring roll. My grease fed palette doesn’t quite know how to react. The food tastes fine, but it is not what I am used to. There is no cornbread, no breading, no added sugar; there is just a whole lot of vegetables. 50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40If I am going to eat like this then I better at least be getting some benefits from this. I am shocked that Joe is only mildly protesting. He gripes and makes a few choice comments, and then he eats it. He also goes back into the kitchen when she leaves and sneaks some cheese and crackers or makes a peanut butter sandwich. Lol! With my daughter, there is no easing into anything. She is one of those people who believe in going cold turkey. And, for some reason, she decided to watch a marathon session about holiday baking. That was just torture for me, and I was only listening to the program and not watching. Tonight I bet I end up dreaming about gumdrops and sugar plums. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40 I told you that I was going to show you a couple of different looks with my bright pink blazer. Today I added a black top with a colorful floral print. This top also features a peplum bottom for a little interest. I am wearing a medium in this top, and the brand name is Gibson. This top came in my Trunk Club shipment, but this print is not on the website any longer. However, the bright blue one below is the same top but in a different color. This top is a hand wash and lay flat to dry variety. I prefer the throw it in the washer and then in the dryer variety myself. Lol!

50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40I am not sure that I have ever worn the Jewel earrings before. These feature a huge silver pearl surrounded by crystals. These are a stud, and they are about 1.5″ big. I liked all of the crystals in the earrings, so I added several crystal bracelets to match them. They are the Broedrick, the Opal, the Chalon, and the Flynn. The red bracelet in the middle was a special, and it is no longer available. These bracelets are super easy to get on and take off because they feature a magnetic closure. Go to Plunder Design (here) and pick a party with my name in it. 50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40I love this adorable Kate Spade clutch that I bought a month ago. I usually carry a huge purse, but when I go out to dinner, I don’t want to be bothered with a cumbersome tote. When that happens, I will carry a clutch of some kind.

50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40I thought about wearing jeans with this look, but in the end, I thought I would show you how to wear winter white or vanilla with brighter colors. I bought this pair from Talbots last year, and I have struggled to wear them because I consider them too short. I decided to try them with a pair of black pumps, and I liked the look. I thought they would look too short, but instead, they look just right.50 IS NOT OLD | WINTER WHITE PANTS WITH BLACK PUMPS | FASHION OVER 40I have had several ladies message me wanting to know if I was going to have a Lash Boost special. Why, yes I am!!! This special is a crazy price and waaaaay below my cost, but I am still in the “playing Santa” mood. Take advantage of this while I am feeling all warm and tingly inside. Lol!Email me if you are interested in taking advantage of this special at fiftyisnotold@gmail.com

Isn’t it funny, people are going Keto. Other people are vegan. Whatever happened to middle of the road. Lol. Anyway, love the white pants.

You are cracking me up! I would definitely be sneaking some cheese and crackers like Joe!

??? Well, you and Joe are better sports at eating rabbit food than I or my husband would be! Of course, you love your daughter but…..?? there is a limit on what I will ‘give up’. You all are probably eating what I SHOULD be eating though. Thanks for showing us the different ways you can wear a velvet blazer. Love that top and wish they still had it in the black!

  6. Great to see vivid colour and white this time of year! So much dark drab clothing this time of year every where I look! Always “fun” when the “kids” come home! Keep an open mind.

I went plant based…no dairy…no fish…no oil. I lost 30 lbs, my diabetes is in check (A1C 6.2) and my cholesterol levels are low. Just dont deprive your self so much….have a bite of cake or chocolate or whatever it is you are giving up. I have been doing this for a year and I am fine and really dont miss anything. My husband does the cooking so if he wants something besides what he cooked for me …he will fix it. GOOD LUCK!

  8. I’m inspired and going to wear winter white pants today with a bright pink top. Over long silk underwear of course because it’s so cold. Thanks for the inspiration.

  9. Haha love It! Going cold turkey – I sympathise but just think how healthy you all will be. When our daughter returned all she wanted was good old northern food. Substantial and filling. Not slimming world friendly. No good for the diet. Another nice outfit. Love the accessories.

I just love checking out what you come up with every day! I get some ideas to try myself. I don’t have as big a budget so I just love this weeks theme of different ways to wear a pink blazer.
