WHY REVERSIBLE FASHION IS A SMART AND ECONOMICAL CHOICE

 

I’ve purchased a lot of reversible fashion over the years, but I don’t think I’ve ever had something that I loved this much. Some reversible fashions look like they should be worn one way or the other, and the reversed side is just not pretty. But, when you are lucky enough to find a reversible fashion item that works, grab it and enjoy all of the fun you will have wearing it in different ways.

Today’s I am styling an outfit from Appleseed’s, and I am starting with Reversible Fashion. A reversible fashion item is a CHIC, practical, statement-making animal print vest. I am styling it in two different ways to give you a better idea of how different this vest can look. I consider one outfit to be casual, and the other outfit is dressier. Both outfits are equally gorgeous; it just depends on the occasion for which one you should choose.

But, before we get to the reversible vest, we have to start with the bones of the outfit. Black and brown have always been a favorite color combination of mine. This is an outfit that I would wear all of the time, and I think it is very put-together looking even though it is very simple.

It’s fall, so that is a great time to get out the turtlenecks. Ribbed everything is trending this year, and ribbed turtlenecks are an easy way to join the trend. Usually, when I purchase anything ribbed, I have to size up to not show all of my lumps and bumps. However, this ribbed turtleneck is generously cut, so I purchased a medium, and it fits great! The turtleneck comes in several colors, and it doesn’t lose its shape!

 

These pull-on camel corduroy pants are perfect for fall. I love the way they fit, and even though they are pull-on, they have a flat front. Sometimes a pull-on pant can pucker, but these lay flat and look polished. I was afraid they would be too short for me, but they are the perfect length. I am wearing my usual size 10, and they fit great!

I am absolutely in love with this reversible animal print vest! It is so cute that I can’t decide which side that I like the best. You would think that the animal print side would be the statement side, but the animal print trim against the black quilted material looks so classy and sharp that I love that side just as much! I am wearing a medium in the vest, and it fits great, even worn over the turtleneck.

So, now for the animal print side! I am doing a quick change, and all I have to do is take off the vest and switch to the pattern side.

Since I was switching things up with the vest, I also decided to switch the pants. I love wearing a column of black, and I think that the animal print vest then becomes a gorgeous statement!

Look how pretty this vest is! The animal print side doesn’t have a contrasting trim like the black side, but it does have snap pocket closures. If I want to carry something in my pocket, the snap closures are convenient to keep the object from falling out. If I only use the pockets for my hands, I will tuck the pocket flap inside the pocket.

If you need a pair of slimming black pants, then you will love these. The material is very nice and looks polished and chic. The pants are pull-on, but the front is flat for a beautiful look and fit under your tops. They move with you even when you are sitting down without tugging or pulling down in the back. I am wearing my usual size 10 in these pants, and they fit perfectly!!!
