WHEN YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO WEAR TO ???

 

I get a lot of messages from ladies wanting to know what to wear to ____________________ You can fill in the blank, but most of the request revolves around these five categories. I love wearing dresses when I’m on vacation. It is a one-and-done item, and I don’t have to worry if I forget to pack a shirt that matches a particular pair of pants. The Tropical Print Maxi Dess and the Handkerchief-Hem Fit and Flare Dress are ones that I could see wearing on the beach, for lunch, or even out to dinner, but I would probably add a cardigan for the restaurant. At the same time, the Abstract Maxi Dress and the Sleeveless Floral Dress are more casual and would be great for relaxing in style. I would wear these when I was going to play putt-putt golf, go to the movies, or cruising the strip with Joe.

 

 

Work attire dresses may be casual or dressy, depending on where you work. I used to work in a lumber company, so a dress was not part of my regular workwear. If you work in a corporate setting such as a bank or a lawyer’s office, you might need to dress up more than I did. The great thing about these dresses is that they can also be worn for date nights, brunch, or a shower. I love the Aqua Sheath Dress; that is a style that works well with my figure. Summer weddings are always what ladies are concerned about. “What do I wear” is hard for me to answer without knowing all the details. Where is the venue, what style of wedding will it be, formal or casual, etc.? What you would wear to a formal wedding at a Country Club is completely different from what you would wear for a wedding with a rustic theme. Here are a few ideas that I would wear to a summer wedding; hopefully, you will see something that suits your needs.

When you are the Mother of the Bride or Groom, you stress almost as much as the bride when you’re trying to find a dress. It is a special day, and you want to look great. Here is always my response when it comes to what to wear for a MOB or MOG, ask the bride!!! If she has a color theme for the wedding party, then you might want to wear something in a similar shade. When you look at the wedding photographs, you don’t want to be in purple if the entire party is all in turquoise. The person who should stand out is the bride, and she needs to be the star of the show. For my older son’s weddings, I coordinated with the bridesmaids and wore a dark gray while they wore silver. I wore a bronze dress at my younger son’s wedding since the bride was wearing a champagne-colored gown. Here are some styles that I would wear if my daughter ever decides that she wants to settle down.

The last category I’m addressing is activewear. I’m dressing more casually these days, and I love a dress that I can wear for golf, tennis, or just taking a walk in the park. You might need to add some bike shorts if you’re doing an active sport, but these dresses would look great for most everyday activities.
