WHAT TO WEAR ON A RAINY DAY

Gurls, I am alive and I do feel much better. Whew! Tuesday morning when I woke up though I felt like someone had taken a baseball bat to me in the night. The problem was that I woke up Monday morning with a stomach virus. ?When I was on my feet then I was queazy so I stayed in bed for the most part. In fact, I was in bed for 23 out of 24 hours and I only got up at 9:00 pm because Joe harassed me until I did. Because I was in bed so long it started to hurt and I couldn’t get comfortable. So, the rest of the day Tuesday was spent on the couch instead with Lucy curled up beside me. Every time that Joe would walk by she would growl at him. Lol! He didn’t find it a bit funny but I think that she knew I didn’t feel good and was daring him to bother me. The grandbabies spent all day Saturday with me and I accused them of giving me the bug. I am not sure if they did or not but the note that I found inside my computer makes me wonder. Emersyn told me that she had left me a note on my computer. I think she was trying to call me a poo-poo head but either way, it fit the situation. Lol! I think that she might have a future in becoming a fortune teller. It has been raining for a few days so I thought it was a perfect time to bring out my rain gear and show you how to look fashionable even when it rains. This was a perfect time to showcase the cute poppy-printed umbrella by Catherine Malandrino that I got to take with me to New Orleans. It was supposed to rain the entire time that I was there (didn’t rain the first time) and I wanted a small umbrella that I could keep in my purse for emergencies. Today is the first time that I have worn this blazer that I bought a month ago from Old Navy. I love this color for fall and I can never have enough blazers. I use them to make myself looked thinner since my largest area is my stomach area. A blazer helps to create curves that I don’t have. They are cheaper and easier for me than dieting and exercising.

??? Gurl’s I freaking love these leopard print Hunter boots!!! I didn’t tell Joe, but these are my anniversary present (TODAY) from him.
