My husband is a nut! There, I’ve said it out loud, and by the time you finish this blog post, I think you will agree with me. I’ve mentioned in the past that he refuses to get dressed in the bathroom or the bedroom. And, I seem to remember that several of you commented that your husbands do something similar. Even though I have tried to encourage him to get dressed someplace other than the office/computer room, he has refused to budge. Instead, he will come walking through the house naked, carrying his clothes on his arm, and get dressed after he walks to his office.
Usually, I shake my head as he walks past me because it defies all logic to me. There are times that he will yell out to me as he walks down the hall and ask, “Is there anyone here?” Most of the time, the answer is no unless Emersyn (granddaughter) is spending the night, but he remembers when she is over. The other day, a lady helped me clean the house, and he forgot to yell before he came into the room. I was sitting at the kitchen table answering comments, and she was at the sink, washing up a few dishes. I heard a loud, “whoops,” and I looked up to see his head disappear behind the wall. He had rounded the corner and saw her at the sink, and he did a quick about-face. LOL!!! You would think that a close encounter like that would have been enough to get him to change his ways, but you would be wrong. He strutted through the kitchen again this morning, carrying his clothes. I give up…I think that I will move his dresser into his office.
I wore a tank from this brand the other day on the blog; I loved the material and its style so much that I ordered this tank also. BUT, the two tops are not the same, so let me explain the difference. This sleeveless top is not a swing style tank like the other top, so the fit is completely different. I love the look of this top, but it is a little too tight for me through the chest, so it will have to go back. I ordered a medium as I did with the other top, but I need a large in this top. I think the ruffled neckline and the graphic words are too cute; remember to size up when you place your order.
You may get tired of seeing me wearing these skinny AG Jeans, but I love the look and fit. I can’t make myself quit grabbing them because they seem to go perfectly with all of my tops. These jeans are more expensive than what I normally wear, so I will also link to some of these jeans that are on sale. Plus, I’ll link to some similar jeans that will give you almost the same look. For those interested in this pair, I sized up one size and am wearing a size 31.
These pointy toe boots are perfect for elongating your legs. The gorgeous neutral color is called Chesnut Suede, and it is my favorite color for shoes. I have to force myself to buy shoes in other colors, but this color will go with ANYTHING!!! The chunky heels are very sturdy, making the booties easy to walk in. Normally I don’t like pull-on boots because they are hard to put on, but these have a lot of stretchiness and are easy to put on and take off. I am wearing my usual size 9, so the boots run true to size.
The burgundy-colored open front cardigan is from Old Navy, but I’m not sure how long I’ve owned it. It isn’t on the website any longer, so it might have been a while since I bought this. I found several similar ones that I will link, and even if the photo isn’t in a burgundy color, it is still available in the color. Some websites won’t let me pick the color to show you.
Additional products that you might be interested in is the Lipstick that I am wearing (Sensual Rose) and my jewelry. My earrings are Ryder linear earrings, and the bracelet is the Beckett. Also, the skincare that I use EVERY SINGLE DAY is Rodan and Fields. I started using this link in February or March of 2016 and later became a consultant because I loved the results that I saw. These are simply the best products that I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried many products. I get approached daily by other skincare companies wanting me to do sponsored posts, but I turn them down since it wouldn’t be honest or true. Rodan and Fields offer a 60-day money-back guarantee, so you are never stuck with something you don’t want. If you become my Preferred Customer (PC), you will enjoy 10% savings, FREE shipping, and occasional free products. There is a one-time enrollment fee to become my PC, but I will reimburse you that fee because I never think you should have to pay to do business with me. 1 John 3:16-19
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence:
