Blah, blah, blah. That is how my weather had been lately. Rainy, cold, and snowy seems to be the forecast for the next couple of months. I can’t complain though, the photo I shared is my daughter’s weather right now. First, she has a mountain of snow, then it rained and turned everything to ice. Evidently, Elsa lives in Alaska, and she is ticked off at someone.

Blah, blah, blah is also what Joe hears when I talk to him. Lol! I’m sure a lot of you gurls know what I’m talking about. All I have to do to get his attention is throw in “plane” or “golf” and he looks right up. Haha! You’re welcome for that little tip.

Blah, blah, blah is also how I’ve been feeling for the last couple of days. I’m a little dizzy and foggy, so writing a post is not too easy. Therefore, instead of doing a normal post, I’m just going to share with you what I recently ordered.

One of the major complaints that I hear is about inventory. I get it, I get aggravated when something I like is out of my size also. But, I have to find the items, place the order, wait for them to ship to me, take the photos, and then get them on the blog. By the time all of that happens, a lot of the clothing is already sold out or limited in size.

This is going to give you a heads up on what is coming your way on the blog. I at least hope this is what is coming your way, but occasionally something doesn’t fit or looks like crap-a-doodle, and I never bother to take photos of it. Some of you have commented that “everything can’t fit you great.” And, you’re right, it doesn’t which is why you will hear me say it is a little big or small. But, if it doesn’t even come close to fitting and looks terrible, then I don’t bother with it. Why would I want to take photos and talk about something that I hate?

Before I show you what I have on order, I want to share with you some clothing that I’ve found for Valentine’s Day. You might not like dressing in hearts, but some might, and these items sell out VERY quickly. One, they are popular, so a lot of people are buying them. Two, because they are seasonal, there probably isn’t a huge inventory of the item. Like the things that I have on order, this will give you a jump start on getting Valentine’s clothing, and you have time to get them in before the 14th rolls around,

What I Have On Order This Week

You might notice that I’m already in spring mode. Blue and pink might not be Pantone’s colors for spring, but I’m sure going in that direction.

This is my daughter’s porch, I’m pretty sure her dog has been out there a time or two. Lol!

It looks amazing there! I don’t do well with ice but gorgeous pictures. I do love the snow though.
There’s a reason I’m a Minnesota girl. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I liked today’s post and think I will order the Love tee from Talbots. One thing I hate is when they don’t provide a rear shot of the garment. I ordered two sweaters from The Red Hanger sale at 50% off….the next day they still offered the 50% off with additional 10 dollars off each sweater. Boo-hoo. Okay, I feel better.

  3. Julie Taylor says:

I look forward to your post first thing in the morning!

  4. Yes! I liked today’s post! Thanks for all the pictures of the things you have on order. I ordered 2 things! Yay!
Appreciate the “heads up” on the Valentine items.
I was able to get my size, no problem. Great idea!
Hope you feel better and I don’t envy your daughter!
Wow! I always wondered why anyone would want to live in a place that is cold and snowy most of the time!
    Certainly not for me.

  5. I would love to see you try on clothes and tell us why it’s a no for you. I make mistakes with purchases and sometimes it would help to know why clothes don’t work

  6. Hit and miss posts are fun. I really like the plaid vest. I’ve worn more vest this year. Too cold for just flannel shirt. Too hot for jacket. We are mid 60 today. MS Gulf Coast.

    Crap-a-doodle, that’s funny I may use that one! 😂😂
Cute stuff coming in and I’m thinking I need a sweater with hearts so I may just order that cardigan.
Thanks Tania for all you hard work I appreciate it!!

  8. Great post! I like seeing what you find before the sizes are sold out and it will be interesting to see what you keep and how you style it!

  9. Your daughter has a BEAUTIFUL view and all the snow welllllll that’s Alaska. I hope you feel better soon.

  10. LOVE Belk items. I have the 2 sweaters in my bag. 💕
    Feel better soon.

  11. Ginger Hiller says:

I’m sorry that you aren’t feeling good and I pray that you feel better soon! I suspect your daughter is not happy about the ice. People that live in Alaska know how to deal with the snow. It’s nice to see some of the items the retailers will have for Spring. Every now and then I would enjoy you sharing an item that just doesn’t work for you and you sharing why. That helps us learn to make better purchases for ourselves.

  12. Stephanie Rodriguez says:

This was a great post! I bought the brightly colored striped duster cardigan from Belk. I think it will be a perfect transition piece for Spring.

  13. Pink is my favourite colour and I’m loving the spring vibe on this post, especially the pink skinny jeans. It’s been -40 here for weeks so thanks for making me think spring may finally arrive eventually!

  14. I would love to see a ‘misses’ post of the things that you don’t like, don’t fit, etc and then explain the why behind it. Sometimes that is just as helpful for judging fit and style as when you do show an outfit.
