What I Bought At The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Pt. 1

I like to start off with one of my favorite outfits. Each outfit is special in its own way, but this is one that I can see myself wearing a lot!!! Don’t be fooled by the description of the t-shirt; I didn’t think it was cropped at all.

The Mother jeans fit great, and I loved the wide-leg style. I paired them with a pair of Blondo waterproof booties with a chunky heel.

You might not believe it, but this zip cardigan was the hit of the day! Several of us bought this, and I even had a stranger ask to try it on once she saw it hanging in my dressing room. I kept on the waterproof booties and changed into a pair of flare jeans by Paige. I sized down one size in the jeans and the cardigan.

I found a couple of gorgeous fall dresses. This sweater set (sold separately) is a great neutral. The cropped cardigan will look great with jeans, and I could wear the skirt with the white crop tee and a denim jacket.

I didn’t think I would love this Faux Leather Shirtdress, but I was sooo wrong. I love the color, and it fits me like it was made for me. It looked like it was pulling in the breast area, so I tried on a larger size. That large one looked the same but was too loose in the body, so I ended up buying this one.

I paired the faux leather dress and cable knit sweater set with these gorgeous dark caramel knee high boots. The boots have a tortoiseshell look, and are also available in suede.

This is the last outfit for the day, but be sure to tune in tomorrow for pt. 2. Since I started with one of my favorite outfits, I thought I would end with one, too. I have been wanting to try jeans by Rag and Bone, so I tried the Ankle Straight Leg Jeans. I think they run a tad big and I needed to size down to a 28, but the store didn’t have that size in stock.

I wanted to pair the jeans with a small heel, so I added these plaid Kitten Heel Pointed Toe Slingback Pumps from Sam Edelman. They are super cute in person, and I had several people ask about them.

Last year, I bought the Short-Sleeve Wool and cashmere sweater in black and burgundy. I have worn both of those several times, so I grabbed the charcoal this year. I thought it looked great with the Allington Tote and Celine Square Sunglasses. Even though I loved the sunglasses, I didn’t buy them. I am too careless with my sunglasses and tend to misplace them. Since they are not cheap, I decided not to take the risk.
