WEDDING GUEST DRESSES THAT ARE ELEGANT AND FLOWY

 

Nordstrom is one of my favorite retailers; they never let me down when looking for an outfit for a special occasion. Attending a wedding of a friend or family member is one of those special occasions, and I found TWO gorgeous dresses for a Summer Wedding.

 

Summer weddings are the best! I love the beautiful flowers, and the temperatures are usually warm and inviting. I’m drawn to florals, and they seem appropriate for this time of the year. My DIL has been talking about this clothing line for a while, so when I saw that Nordstrom was carrying it, I decided to give it a try. I might not be the Bride, but I feel like a princess in this Floral Chiffon Tiered Dress.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a prettier dress, and I can’t wait to wear it to a wedding or summer event. I read that this dress ran small, so I sized up to an XL. The dress has adjustable straps and smocking in the back, so I could have worn a large.

The Gold Teal Mix Tassel Statement Earrings and the Sea Green Chrysocolla Multi-Strand Necklace looked great with the colors of the dress. I love how I can wear this necklace in different ways since the layers can be un-hooked and worn separately.

The dress deserves all the attention, so I kept my heels a neutral color. These Natural Woven Raffia Kitten Heels have an on-trend square toe. Most women can wear a 2 1/2″ heel, and they look great with jeans, shorts, and dresses. I’m wearing my usual size, and they run TTS.

I’m a huge fan of dresses with pockets, which are harder to find in special occasion dresses. I was thrilled when I discovered the pockets which I could use to carry a tissue or lipstick. I love this dress so much that I have it in both colors that it is available in.

Here is a view of the dress from the back. The dress has spaghetti straps and a low back, so I’m wearing an Invisible Adhesive Bra from Maidenform. The bra features lightly padded, wireless cups with silicone adhesive, and it is perfect for backless and strapless options.

I again kept my heels neutral since I didn’t want to draw attention to my feet. The Vince Camuto Woven Leather Sandals are gorgeous and comfortable. The square toe is trending at this time and keeps you modern-looking. These sandals have a 3″ slim tapered heel and run true to size. I’m wearing my usual size 9, and they fit me great. The shoes are 40% off and are also available in Cream, Black, and Soft Coral.

The Vegan Leather Frame Clutch is unique, and I love the chain hardware. The bag looks like a straw or raffia bag, but it is vegan leather. I love the size of the handbag since it is large enough to hold my phone and a few essential items. I just saw that this caramel color has already sold out, but the bag is available in this woven material in white. It is also available in black and turquoise in a puffed/quilted fabric.
