UNDERSTATED AND ELEVATED IN SHADES OF BROWN

Lately, I’m loving shades of brown, especially chocolate brown. This monochromatic outfit in various shades of brown manages to look understated and elevated at the same time.

I always start an outfit by picking the “star” piece. The buttery soft Faux Leather Moto Jacket in Toasted Java is the star of this outfit, and it looks luxurious and elevated. A moto jacket has been associated with a “bad boy” image, but there is nothing bad about this jacket. The material and hardware feel so nice, and the fit is great. I’m wearing my usual size 1, and there is plenty of room for the lightweight sweater underneath.

The quilted faux leather tote with snakeskin print trim keeps the outfit modern-looking, and I love the versatility since one side is brown and one is black.

I’ve paired it with a camel sweater and dark brown girlfriend jeans for a classic and chic look. The sweater and the girlfriend jeans run TTS. I’m wearing my usual size 1 in the sweater and .5 in the jeans.

I love a little bit of drama, so I added the Multistrand Bib Necklace. This necklace looks great with the camel sweater, but I can’t wait to wear it with a LBD for the holidays. The set of 3 bangles has a tortoiseshell look that goes great with the necklace.

I think the entire combo is very updated, elevated, and so chic.
