AN ELEVATED FALL STYLE WITH TROUSER JEANS FROM KOHL’S
You ladies hear me talk about versatility all of the time. Today’s post is an excellent example of making your clothing budget stretch further by wearing your items in multiple ways. Here is how I wear two fall styles with a pair of trouser jeans from Kohls.
For sizing reference, I am 5’6″ tall and weigh between 150-155. I usually wear a size 8 in jeans, a med/large in tops, and a size 9 in shoes.

I paired the jacket with a Navy Floral Print Smocked Peasant Top in a medium. This floral top can be worn in many ways and even into spring, making it versatile. The rayon fabric is lightweight and silky, plus it is machine washable. I’m wearing a medium which fits great.

This is an elevated fall style with trouser jeans, and it has a modern and youthful look. This Faux-Leather Aviator Jacket is an updated look for fall, and it is chic, casual, and comfy. This is a great alternative to a heavy leather moto jacket since it isn’t as heavy and is more comfortable to wear. The jacket also comes in ivory and black, but I love this deep brown color. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits me great.

I’m wearing a pair of Dark Chocolate Croc Loafers to tie the dark brown of the Faux-Leather Aviator Jacket together. The croc-embossed print and the style of the loafers are modern and make the whole outfit youthful.

The bones of this look are the same as the first outfit, but the vibe is entirely different. This outfit is more polished and elevated and doesn’t look as casual.

I added a few accessories to my outfit. I didn’t get a good photo of my earrings, so I’ll include a screenshot from the website below. They are Large Flat, Twist Hoop Earrings in gold. I would call these earrings a medium size, but I love large, bold earrings. The Aviator Sunglasses are lightweight and don’t leave a mark on my nose. I love the aviator style (they look great with the aviator jacket), but I don’t like it when I have intentions on my nose. The Saddle Satchel Bag is a lovely medium size handbag. The color is perfect for fall, and this bag can hold all your essential items.

Adding the Deep Pine Double-Breasted Faux-Wool Coat elevates this look and makes it look polished. This is a midweight coat and will be heavy enough for anyone who doesn’t live in extremely cold climates. I love the deep pine green color, but it also comes in lilac and brown plaid. I think this coat runs big, and I suggest sizing down one size. I’m wearing a medium, and although it looks like it fits me, I have it pinned in the back about 3 inches so that it would look nice.

If you’ve been looking for a nice pair of dress boots for fall, your search is over. I love the look and feel of these boots, plus they are comfortable when walking. They also come in a GORGEOUS deep green, and since they are under $50, I’m considering ordering those as well. The boots fit true to size; I’m wearing my usual size 9.

These High-Rise Wide Leg Trouser Jeans are part of the reason this outfit is modern looking. The wide leg is popular right now, and so is everything retro. These jeans remind me of some I wore in the 70s, and I love the seam detail, the front pockets, and the wide hem. These run TTS, and I’m wearing my usual size 8.
