TUNIC AND SKINNY PANTS
I am finally getting a manicure and a pedicure. I have been trying for two weeks to find the time but it has never worked out. At the end of this post, I am going to post a picture of my nails and you will understand my excitement. Even little Emersyn asked me what was wrong with my nails. Lol!?
I think you girls got a kick out of my outfit yesterday. It gave all of you the opportunity to play fashion advisor. It is a tough job because you think something will look good, but when it is all put together the look isn’t right. I do this ALL the time in the mornings but I usually catch the problem and start changing out elements. I am going with the excuse that I wore this on a Sunday when I have to be at church by 8:45 a.m. As usual, I was running late so I didn’t take the time to do an evaluation. Let hat be s lesson to everyone, go look in a full-length mirror before you leave the house, especially if you have a fashion blog?
This tunic is one that I bought before My Las Vegas trip. I loved the colors and I knew I had the pants to match. This top is by Knitted Belle, and it is the high-low style. I sure hope this trend grows on me, because it is everywhere! The neckline is a little different with its little triangle peek-a-boo detail. I don’t know if you can see, but there is a pleat on each side of the triangle that lets the top have a looser fit. I bought my normal size in this, and had to take it back. I think this is a small, so if you run into this brand you need to try it on first.
I wanted to show you these cute earrings. They are a new design by Plunder. I thought I was getting them in the fall jewelry kit that I ordered back a month ago, but they sent a different pair instead. I finally got around to ordering these, and I love them. They are called the Ashton, and they make quite a statement. To place an order through me, so to www.plunderdesign.com/party/taniastephens or if you are placing an order for the Plunder Posse, you go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens
The green stone bracelet is called the Waverly. The gold inscription bangle is an old one and the hinges are starting to give me some trouble. I can see in the photo that it had come open. Joe tried to fix the problem but told me it wasn’t going to work. The larger gold bangle is one that I was given by JTV.com. Here is the post that shows you the different jewelry that they sent me.
I love these orchid pixie pants from Old Navy. This is one of the falls must have colors. The Pantone colors chart calls this Bodacious, here is a top that I originally bought to go with these pants. Maybe that will be the next outfit. I just bought these pants about a month ago, and they are already gone from their website.
I am going to answer a few questions I get by email. Did you gurls know that “You’ve Got Mail,” was one of my favorite movies? I love when you email and message me. If I don’t answer then send it to me again. I will open my email and messages when I am in line at the bank, etc, and I will sometimes forget to answer back. One of the most asked questions is about Rodan and Fields, what would I buy if I could only buy one thing. Every is different, but for me, I would but either the multi-function eye cream or the lip serum. I have only had one to duct I wasn’t that fond of, the eye wipes, and I saw someone else do a review and said that was their very favorite product. Haha. Everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently.
Secondly, I am asked about results. Which products seem to work the best. It depends on what you are looking for. I see great results from the Reverse regimen for the brightness of my skin and the fading of my sun spots. But I am seeing great resist with the Redefine regimen with the eye cream and lip serum, on the fine lines. Those really deep lines between my brow and the frown lines are being more stubborn. I know they didn’t happen overnight, but that is how I want them to go away. Lol!
The third most asked questions are about Joe. We have been married almost 30 years. He is originally from Grundy, Virginia but we met in Cookeville Tennessee. He lived in an apartment over mine. I would see him coming and going but he had a really short haircut, so I thought he was a fuddy-duddy. Anyone reading this that knows him is laughing right now, there is nothing further from the truth. I should have learned my lesson about judging a book by its cover then. Haha!
I have sent out a ton of Rodan and Fields samples. Please let me know when they start arriving, I want to make sure they made it through the mail intact. If you have any more questions, please email me, I love hearing from you.
Rodan and Fields are no longer just a company that sells in the United States. They have branched out into Canada and have announced plans to launch into Australia next. Lol love the pic of your nails, looks just like mine! For some reason I can’t seem to get to the manicurest in a timely manner so my various fun colored nails always end up looking like that. I’ve gone back to pink and white for time being.
Such a pretty tunic! It looks great with the pink skinny pants. Very pretty!
Thanks for the link up & Happy Wednesday!

Another great combo! I would love something in this colour. The weather is starting to turn cool and dreary here so we need all the colour we can get! Thanks for letting us know that Rodan and Fields are now in Canada. Most often it isn”t worthwhile for me to order from the U.S. due to exchange, shipping and duty. I will have a look!
I am a plus size…usually 18. My weight is mostly through my butt and thighs, so I’m wondering what fit/style pants should I buy at Old Navy? Thanks Tania as you have inspired me to return to get back into trying to look my very best again ?
Like you, Lissa, I am a 16-18 and carry my weight in the hips and thighs. Old Navy Pixie pants don’t work for me. I have a black & white pair of Harper pants (size 18) that fit and I like. Hope this helps.
It’s nice to see bright and vibrant colours. Over here in London it’s very dull and we are all starting to wear our winter darks. Thank you for hosting x

Gorgeous outfit! I’ve just lost 16lb in readiness for party season so I’m on the look out for something in that fabulous bodacious colour ?
I think that a high/low tunic is a flattering silhouette and you’ve proven that to be true. You look fantastic and I love the neckline detail. The tidbits of your life that you share on your blog give it such a friendly and welcoming feel. Thanks for sharing your style and for hosting.

Well even though it was different I liked your outfit yesterday! This is cute. I saw the pants at Old Navy but I am curvy so steer clear of ankle tight pants!!
Love that Tunic Tania – absolutely adorable and it looks fab on you too!
