I’m exhausted from just loading all of these outfits onto the blog. Most of my try-on hauls are long, but this one seems extra long. There were many great styles to choose from, and I’m crossing my fingers that they are all still in stock for you. Grab something to drink, go ahead and potty, and settle down for lots of fast and furious fun.

For sizing reference, I’m 5’6″ tall, and I weigh between 145-150 at the moment. I usually wear a medium or large in tops, an 8 or a 10 in bottoms, and a 10 or 12 in dresses.

Dress #1

This bright pink Flutter Sleeve Tiered Dress gets a big thumbs up from me. I love the color and the style, and it fits perfectly. The dress is a cotton/poly blend, and it has a 100% cotton lining.

Yay! The dress has pockets, which is always a good thing. I’m wearing a large, and I would say the dress runs TTS. The Espadrille Peep-Toe Wedge Heels are not from Old Navy, but they are still in stock. I ordered a half size down in these heels, and they fit great.

Graphic Tee and Jeans

I LOVE this graphic tee and jeans outfit. You will notice that shades of mustard are huge this spring and summer, and I found several mustard items that had to come home with me on my shopping trip last Friday.

This LOVE graphic t-shirt is a great way to make a statement with a casual look. The sun, water, and rainbow are muted colors, so you will also be able to wear this tee with a jean jacket in the fall.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy47

The t-shirt has a rounded hem and a relaxed fit. I’m wearing a large, which is what I usually pick for a tee since I don’t like them to fit tight.

V-Neck Tank and Jeans

While I had on the jeans, I decided to try the Luxe Jersey-Knit V-Neck Tank in Daylily. The color looks different under the lights in the dressing room than it does on the website.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy55

I love the material of this tank, it is incredibly soft and buttery, but it doesn’t cling to my body. The straps are wide enough to wear a bra with no issue, but the tank would look great layered with a cardigan. I’m wearing a size medium, so you can see that the tank is a relaxed fit.

These High-Waisted Button-Fly Slouch Cropped Jeans have a straight fit but no stretch to them. Because they are a slouch fit (fits like a boyfriend fit), they don’t need to be a stretch material since you have plenty of room in them. I’m wearing a size 8, and they fit great. Overall, I like this pair, except I’m not a huge fan of button-fly jeans.

The Woven-Textured Crisscross Sandals are a great everyday sandal that would go with almost anything. They would look cute with shorts as well as a sundress. They run true to size, and I’m wearing a size 9. These are the natural stripe color, but they are also available in a black stripe.

Slub-Knit and Linen Blend

This is one of my favorite casual outfits that I tried on. I love the colors, and the entire outfit is very comfy, which is what I look for in a casual look.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy38

The Everywear V-Neck Sleeveless T-Shirt is a Slub-Knit material that is super soft, relaxed, and comfy. This year, the slub-knit material is everywhere, and I just bought Joe several polo-style shirts from Old Navy in this material for his everyday outfits.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy36

This shirt is more cropped than some of the others, but it is not so short that it shows your stomach. I’m wearing a medium, and it is still plenty roomy. This is the Volcanic Glass color, and it is also available in a pretty Fuchsia color.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy40

The High-Waisted Cropped Linen-Blend Pants are perfect for everyday wear. These are pull-on, so they are easy on and off, and I love the diagonal front pockets. These pants are casual, but they have a style that says you’re put together. I’m wearing a medium, but I think that a small would fit me even better.

I have on the Canvas Sli-On Sneaker in Taupe, and I love the style and color of this sneaker. I’m wearing my usual size 9, but it feels a tiny bit big on me. I wish that I had tried an 8 1/2, but we were in a hurry since we had another store to go to. They just felt too long, but maybe adding socks would have helped. These come in many different prints and colors, so you are bound to find something you will love.

Stripes

This is another adorable/casual outfit. It is so cute for running errands or walking in the park. This looks like something I would wear if we were going camping; I love the look.

You can not go wrong with a classic Navy and White Short Sleeve Vintage T-Shirt. This shirt can be worn with so many different colors, and it will be great for Memorial Day and the 4th of July. Hey, I’m a blogger, so I have to think about the upcoming holidays. Lol! If you look at my chest, you can see that I’m wearing a large. A medium would have been a better fit since this one is a little too boxy for me.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy25

Here is the view from the back. The t-shirt is supposed to be relaxed and oversized, but I still think a medium would have been the better choice.

Florals

Stripes or florals? They both look great with these casual shorts.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy21

The Sunflower EveryWear V-Neck Sleeveless T-Shirt is cutesy and adorable looking. The print is cute, and I like that the straps are wide. This is another top that would look great in the fall, and I can see wearing this with a denim jacket later this year.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy19

Here is the length of the shirt. It isn’t long, but it isn’t short either.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy22

The High-Waisted Twill Workwear Shorts have a 4.5″ inseam. These shorts are similar to the style of the linen-blend pants above. The side utility pockets are a great detail that is functional and stylish. I’m wearing a size 8 in these, and they fit great. This is the Norfolk Pine color, and I also love Miner’s Gold.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy3

Dress #2

I love this pink plaid Sleeveless Waist-Defined Embroidered Maxi-Dress. This is a soft cotton-rayon blend material, and I like the flowy style of the dress. The square neckline is similar to the first dress I styled, and the straps are nice and wide. This dress would also look great with a denim jacket, and it will work for a fall look.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy2

Here is the view from the back. I love that Old Navy carries tall, petite, and plus-size clothing; no one gets left out when it comes to their styles. I’m wearing a size large, and I think it fits me great.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy4

A Straw Sun Hat is a cute accessory for summer, but it can also help to shade your face from the sun. I have the hat pushed back from my face because of the lighting in the dressing room, but it would look cute pulled lower also. I’m wearing one in Totally Natural, but it is also available in Cream and Black.

Dress #3

Look who is making a surprise appearance on the blog!!! My daughter picked her out a couple of dresses, so I insisted she style them for you. She is 5’11” tall and is usually one size larger than me for sizing reference. This Waist-Defined Long Sleeve Dress has a deep v-neck plunge. If that is too low for you, I suggest adding a lace camisole under it in cream, ivory, or nude.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy8

We both loved the length of the dress, but she decided it was too small for her since it was a medium. I think she exchanged it for a large and was happy with the look.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy15

Dress #4

The Cream Puff-Sleeve Waist-Defined Midi Dress fit her much better. She liked the color of the other dress, but the style of this one was cuter on her. She said she felt like a milkmaid in the dress. Lol!

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy16

Here is a look from the back. She is wearing a large, and I think it fits her great.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy17

Plus, she is as happy about pockets as I am. She told me that if a dress didn’t have pockets, she refused to buy it. I think that is the cell phone generation’s rule; you have to have somewhere to carry your phone.

White Denim Skirt

This is another casual outfit that looks stylish and perfect for wearing on errands or out to lunch.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy59

I love the light blue color of this Short Sleeve Striped Shirt. This shirt style is relaxed, but I grabbed the wrong size, so it is oversized on me. This is an XL, and I probably needed a medium. Lol! My daughter insisted that it looked great and was supposed to be oversized. The translation was, “I’m tired, and I don’t want to go and get another size.”

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy57

I have to admit; the shirt looks cute from the side with the skirt.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy60

This is a High-Waisted Straight Cut-Off Denim Skirt in white. By accident, I picked up this skirt; I thought it was a pair of raw hem shorts. I was surprised when I went to style the shorts, but I figured a shirt would give me almost the same look. They call this a mini-skirt, but it is the same length as skorts that I have from Chico’s and Talbots, but it doesn’t have bike shorts under it. I’m wearing a size 8, and it fits me great.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy61

The Linen-Blend Platform Sandals are excellent for summer. They slip on easily, and they are very comfortable. These sandals are a great neutral that will go with everything, and I love the espadrille sole. I’m wearing my usual size 9, so they run TTS.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy68

Graphic T-Shirt #2

There were several Earth t-shirts in the store, probably because Earth Day was earlier. I grabbed this one because of the colors, but it was a clearance tee, and I can’t find it on the website.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy67

So, I will skip the info about the tee and instead talk about the High-Waisted Slouchy Straight Cut-Off Shorts.

Over 40 Fashion Blogger, Tania Stephens is styling clothing from Old Navy 71

These are the same fit as the slouchy jeans I styled at the beginning, and they are also made of non-stretch fabric. I think they fit great, a little relaxed, which is how they are supposed to fit. These shorts have a raw edge hem, slight distressing, and a 5″ inseam. I like these shorts a lot, and I could see them becoming the pair you would reach for daily.
