TUESDAY SUMMER TRY-ON HAUL WITH LOFT

This is the first time I’ve done a try-on haul with Loft in forever! I don’t have a Loft store nearby, making going into a dressing room a little tricky. Lol! But, when my daughter and I were on our way to Tennessee to visit my parents, we made a quick stop in Knoxville, and I ran into Loft to check out their new arrivals.

 

This was my daughter’s favorite top, and she insisted that I try it on first. When I showed my mother the photos that we took on the way to her house, she said, “oh, I love that top.” I guess my daughter was right, but don’t tell her I said so.

This Botanical Henley Blouse is perfect for summer and would look great with a pair of white shorts. When I do these try-on hauls, I am not trying to pick the perfect outfit; I’m trying to showcase as many products as possible. The blouse looks great with jeans, but I think that white would make them look special.

Here is a look from the back so you can see the length of the blouse. I’m wearing a medium in the top, and it fits TTS.

I LOVE these 90s Straight Jeans! The fit is perfect, relaxed but not baggy, and I like the mid-indigo wash. I’m wearing a size 29, which is equivalent to an 8. I think they run TTS, but remember, they will have the relaxed fit look.

I kept on the 90s jeans and switched into this White Flutter Sleeve Top.

The white top is soft linen, but it is also pretty thin. I untucked the top in this photo so you could see the thinness of the top. If you look, you can see the impression of my jeans under the top.

The flowy flutter sleeves are 100% cotton, so they are a different material than the top. I love the sleeves, but I’m not sold on the top as a whole. The linen material would be cool, so if you live in a hot part of the country, you might like this top. I’m wearing a size medium, and the fit is perfect.

I threw on this Soft Moss Drawstring Utility Jacket over the linen top! This jacket was my favorite item that I tried on, and even though I left the store without it, I’m ordering it today. The jacket is already at a great discounted price, plus I got a lot of Loft Cash that I need to use. I know many of you use Old Navy and Kohl’s cash, Loft does the same thing.

Here is a look from the back to see the design and length. My daughter didn’t take a photo of the tag; that’s how I know what size I was wearing. I’m guessing that I’m wearing a medium, and that is what I’m ordering today.

I took off the jeans and white top and replaced them with this Triple Cloth Tank Dress. Gauze clothing is extremely popular this year, especially since everyone loves the Coastal Grandmother Look.

The tank gauze dress is very comfortable, and the fit is relaxed. This is a great dress for the beach or going out to eat since it will hide your tummy. Plus, I like that the straps are wide enough to hide your bra straps. I’m wearing a size medium, and it fits TTS.

My daughter is 5’11” tall, and even though I’m 5’6″ tall, I can sometimes look short because of the height she holds the camera. The triple cloth top/jacket is already sold out, but maybe you can find it at your local Loft store.

This blue and white striped Essential V-Neck Tank is also one of my favorite items. I love blue and white, and this tank fits well and would look great with a lot of different looks. The 4th of July is fast approaching, so think about how this tank would look with navy, red, white, or jeans.

Here is a look at how the tank fits from the back, and I love the longer length of the tank. I’m wearing a size large, and the fit is perfect.

The Triple Cloth Wide Leg Pants are available, and they are so comfortable! These are pull-on, and they have pockets, and those are two things that I love in pants. The wide-leg style is one that many women struggle with, especially if you are Petite. These have a 27 1/2″ inseam, and I am wearing a small.

Now for a few lavender looks. I’m a huge fan of this color, and a purple hue was chosen as the color of the year.

This Floral Linen Flutter Tee is not as thin as the white one above. It is still thin and lightweight, which is perfect for summer, but you can’t see through it like you could the other top. The cheery floral print is cute, and the flutter sleeves are a nice touch. I’m wearing a size medium, and the fit is plenty roomy.

While I had on the lavender jeans, I added a Gingham Henley Top, and I think I like this top better than the floral one.

This soft color is pretty and feminine, and I like the cap sleeves. This has a relaxed fit, and I’m wearing a medium that fits fine.

I love the Frayed Kick Crop Jeans in this lavender color!!! These are so cute, and the frayed hem is modern-looking. Small details like that can keep you looking relevant instead of frumpy, so be sure to at least give a new trend a chance. Obviously, you’re not going to like all trends, but there will be some that you’ll like. I felt like these jeans ran a tiny bit small; I’m wearing an 8, and they are too tight for me.
