THREE SUMMER OUTFITS FROM LOFT OUTLET
Hi, everyone. We are going to have another mini try-on session, so you will see three outfits today. Although there is one thing that you won’t see today, and that is shoes. Lol! All of my outfits are shoeless, and I am instead in my bare feet. You can tell that I consider all of you my friends since I feel comfortable going barefooted. So, continue reading to see the rest of my shoeless outfits.
Also, I want to mention that yesterday I sent out a second email that was captioned, “testing new email provider.” Some of you were probably confused, but here is what is going on. Because I had an issue with my email subscribers on an app that I was using, I transferred everyone over to MailChimp. That is an email provider that I’ve been using for a while, but they charge by the number of emails that you send out monthly.
That charge is pretty expensive, and I think that it is going to end up costing me around $400-$500 each month. Flodesk is a fairly new email provider that has been around a couple of years, and they charge a flat rate of $38 a month no matter how many subscribers or emails that you send out. So, I decided to give them a try and sent out an email. You won’t have to sign up again for anything if you are already signed up. But, if you didn’t get the email that I sent yesterday, check your spam, junk, promotions, or social folder. It will be from Tania@50isnotold.com and it went out around 10:30 am ET.
I sure hope that this will be the last time that I have to learn a new email system, and I know that all of you are tired of hearing me talk about it. Lol! So, let’s talk about today’s outfits instead. This soft, cozy, lounge around the house outfit is sandwashed, and in a beautiful color.
The twist front detail is great for hiding the tummy, and that is a fantastic feature! I am not sure if the sandwashed fabric or the twist front detail is my favorite part of the top. The color is called light grape, but the top also comes in olive, gray, and black. I am wearing a size medium in the top, and I think that is the correct size for me,
I added the matching sweatpants in the same color and fabric. The pants have an elasticized drawstring waist, slash pockets, and a 26″ inseam. They are just as soft and comfy as the top, and this entire outfit is fabulous for looking nice while being comfortable at the same time. I am also wearing a medium in the pants, and they fit great.
This top is in a gorgeous print, and there are several other items with this print that I’ll link to below. I loved the colors in the print and the ruffled neckline that adds a feminine touch.
The model on the website shows this neckline buttoned all the way up, but I prefer it opened to create a v-neck. I am wearing a large in the top because I didn’t want the buttons to bulge open.
The twill pants are straight-leg crops, and they are available in several colors. They have a front zip button closure, belt loops, slash pockets, back patch pockets, and a 26″ inseam. I am wearing my usual size 10 and they fit me great.
The last outfit is this boatneck jumpsuit with a sash tie. I know a lot of you aren’t too fond of jumpsuits because of the bathroom issue. I am kind of on the fence about jumpsuits because I sure love a one-and-done outfit. I like the style of this jumpsuit, but the color is not my friend.
So, I fixed that issue by adding an old pink cardigan that I had in my closet. The pink is next to my face, and that helps to brighten my skin tone. I am wearing a medium jumpsuit, and it fits me great. I am long-waisted, and the jumpsuit still has a blouson effect on me. Here is a pink cardigan that looks almost identical to the one that I am wearing if you are looking for one.
Several of you asked about the outfits that I didn’t post yesterday. This linen-blend navy short sleeve tee was one of them. This was by Caslon, and I bought it from Nordstrom. Here are some other linen-blend tees for you.
And, this Mama Bear black and white graphic tee was the other item that I wanted to show you. This was from Nordstrom also, but here are some other ones that are similar.
BTW, Nordstrom is having a great sale right now. Here are a few things that I found, and I only looked at 5 pages. Be sure to check out the Dagne Dover handbag and Suede Moto Jacket that I have. Those are at a great price!!!

LOVE the outfits, my cool pajamas came in the mail today, can’t wait to try them!
I forgot to post it, lol https://flodesk.com/c/F4ITI7
I love your outfits here and on your posts in general. Since switching to new email, your email is now your name , not 50isnotold. There are so many popular and notices on privacy/cookie, that I can’t hardly scroll thru your post. I am on my iPhone now so may be that is the issue!😩
The email shouldn’t have anything to do with that kind of issue. Google said they were doing a tweak, so I need to look into the issue.
I agree new hairstyle is fresh and sassy. The clothes you modeled are perfect for soft summers. I think you are a spring and need bright colors to look your best. Those of us who like muted colors appreciate you showing these items as they are perfect or us.
The jump suit and knit outfit are great! The printed top and pants, not so much. They seem a bit frumpy to me…🤷🏼♀️
The Loft outlet twill crop pants look lavender to me, but website has grey or cool blue. Can you tell me which ones you’re wearing?
The ones that I am wearing are gray, but I think they have a purple hue to them.
Tania you always look good and happy to me. In the Loft pictures it looks as if you have no lipstick on.
Maybe that is why your skin tone didn’t pop.
I enjoy all your posts and your Sunday posts are exceptional.
Thank you for the work you do to inspire us.
Normally you really look great in your outfits. The clothes from Loft did nothing for your skin tone. The printed blouse and solid pants aged you 20 years. Maybe shoes would have helped?????
Thanks for the options. In trying to access sizes for the gorgeous print blouse, website doesn’t show the drop down information past xs. I’ve tried accessing this info. On 3 different devices. Can you tell me what size it shows for size 12-14. Ready to purchase & give you compensation 😬Greetings from chilly Midlothian, VA
Cindy, I went to the size chart and it shows a 12-14 is a Large.
Cute outfits as always. I’m not a huge fan of jumpsuits only because of the bathroom issue, but I really like the one in this post…it’s amazing how adding that pink cardigan makes you look so much more vibrant!
I love adding a cardigan or a denim jacket to jumpsuits. You could add other colors also.
Good morning,
I really like the deeper colors around your face. The purple tee shirt and the black tee shirt pop against your skin tone.
I’m not a huge fan of a crewneck tee, but I like that shirt.
I’m loving your new hairstyle!! Very fresh and sassy!! Have you moved to your new house already?
Thanks! No, we aren’t moving yet, but we are going on weekends.
Since you had trouble with sending emails I can’t get the pink menu band at the top of the posts to move up. I covers a third of the page and adverts cover a strip at the bottom, so I can’t see your full picture! How can I get rid of the pink band? I love reading your posts and want to see the outfits in full.
Sue, I’ll have someone look at that. It shouldn’t have anything to do with the email provide though.
