THIS OUTFIT WILL HAVE YOU LOOKING STUNNING THIS SPRING

I love these outfits. But, because a major section of the country is in a deep freeze, I had a hard time making myself post them. But, I am very limited on photos since it has been so cold, and I don’t like going outside to take my photos. My nose turns red and starts to run, and that isn’t anything you want to see. Lol! So, turn up the heat or add another blanket, and let’s start to dream about when spring arrives, and the temperatures start rising.

I have been so tired of looking at the same old winter clothes online that I practically did a jump for joy when I saw some colorful new arrivals hit the stores. Many of the winter items are limited in size and quantity since the stores are trying to deplete their inventory. Several of you have complained that you can’t purchase the exact items that I am wearing, and I know how frustrating that can be.

I plan to only purchase items from the “new arrival” portion of the stores, but even that isn’t foolproof. Since I have to order all of my clothing, instead of going to a store to purchase the items, it takes time for the turnaround process. Maybe, once we started staying some at the new house, I will be able to purchase some things in a store! Can you even imagine???
Honestly, I prefer buying online for several reasons; they have a greater selection, more sizes, don’t have to be around people (COVID is real), don’t have to get dressed up, and can stay warm inside my house. However, for days when I am running low on clothing, it would be great to go to the store and grab a few items.

I go through cycles when it comes to color, and I’ve loved a vibrant pink/Fuschia/orchid range of colors lately. Every time I see something in these colors, it somehow finds its way into my shopping cart. The great thing about that is, I end up with a lot of mix and match outfits. This short sleeve v-neck t-shirt is one that I ordered from Target, and it goes great with the paisley cardigan I just bought. That happens a lot because I buy the colors that I love.
I ordered my tee in a color called Dark Pink, but the website only shows Pink now. It might be a shade or two lighter, but it looks almost identical to me. I am wearing a size medium, and I am surprised at how much room that I have. The tee also comes in several other colors, as well as some tie-dye colors.

Once again, I went with silver jewelry for the most part. Aren’t you proud of me for my willingness to try something new? The silver Fallyn hoop earrings are currently sold out; however, I found lots of them on sale at eBay. Just be sure to check out the seller’s ratings before you place your order. I am also wearing my horizontal cross necklace with cubic zirconia stones and the Shine script necklace that I love right now. I did mix and match my metals when it came to my bracelets. The Maggie filigree bangle and the Natalie hinged bangle bracelet are both gorgeous, and just a tiny bit different.
The Natalie hinge bracelet is a new arrival, and I love this bracelet, even more than the Maggie that I’ve worn for a long time. There are two big differences in the bracelets. The Maggie is a bangle bracelet, so it slides over your hand, while the Natalie has a clasp closure that allows it to be opened. Secondly, the Maggie is a circle bangle, and the Natalie is oblong. This matters to me because the circle-style bangles bother me while I am typing, but the oblong doesn’t cause as many issues.

When I first saw this colorful paisley print cardigan, I was intrigued. But I didn’t order it for some reason. Finally, I decided to order the cardigan at the last minute, and I am glad that I did. I don’t know about you, but I think that the cardigan looks better with this pink tee under it than the top that the website shows it with. Remember, when you are looking at any item online, try to picture it without all of the other pieces before you order.
I am wearing a size medium in the cardigan, and I think this size fits me great. For a close-up of the cardigan’s colors, see the photo below.

I’m not sure if pattern mixing is still a thing, but I had ordered in this floral scarf, and the colors were the same as the cardigan. So, I thought that I would add the scarf for you to see it for yourself. I did a quick little loop tie with the scarf, and I’ll put that video in my Instagram stories. This scarf will go with so many things this spring and summer, and it will brighten my style and mood every time I put it on.
Since I added the scarf, I decided to change the earrings that I was wearing. I took out the Fallyn hoops and added the beaded Josie hoops instead.

The 100% leather saddlebag is adorable. I love the quilted navy suede flap with the gold buckle detail. The flap features a magnetic closure and interior zip and slip pocket. The long leather strap can be adjusted or a shoulder style or left long for the crossbody look. I love this bag’s size, and the colors will go with anything this spring and summer.

I like the jeans, but these white crop flare jeans steal the show. Many of you might not have tried the crop flare look before, but it is a modern look trending the season. This trend looks good on almost everyone, and it doesn’t matter as much about your body shape. What I like about these jeans is that you can’t see through them. The pockets don’t show, and hopefully, your panties won’t show either. Please remember to wear nude panties and bras, so they don’t show through your clothing, especially if you are wearing white.
I sized down one size in these pants, and they fit me great. When ordering from Talbots, I have learned always to size down to get the fit that I want.

Here is the “from the back” look for you. The white pull-on sneakers are going to be perfect for spring and summer. They are super affordable at under $15.00, so you don’t have to worry about them getting nasty. Throw them in the wash or order in another pair next year. These slip-on sneakers also come in Leopard print, and you know that those are calling your name. Lol! I ordered my usual size, but they are a smidge too big. You might want to order two sizes in and send back the one that you don’t want.

I forgot to link to these skinny jeans. These are the medium wash, and I am wearing a size 10 in them. The jeans are under $25.00, so they are affordable and look great at any time of the year.
Joe didn’t like the look with the medium wash jeans first; then he decided that he liked this look the best. My favorite look is the one with the white jeans, but I am interested in hearing what you liked the best.

To God Goes The Glory!
Psalms 40:2
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

I like both the jeans and the white pants with the cardigan/top and the scarf and purse look great with it all. I really like when you feature different looks with the same top. I agree that the hot pink top looks much better with the cardigan than what is shown on the website. I am on your email list and look forward to your blog every morning with my coffee.
Thanks, Gayle! I am so glad that you are enjoying the posts.
These colors look great on you. I prefer the fit of the white jeans, but being 6′ tall I always have trouble with cropped pants (unless I actually fold longer jeans up, for some reason). On the other hand I really like the color combo of the blue skinny jean, but I’m not a fan of skinny jeans in general and from numerous fashion blogs and articles in multiple fashion magazines it seems skinny jeans are on their way out. There are a couple of reasons for this: they’re not particularly flattering unless you have a “perfect” thin body-type and they’re not very comfortable unless there’s significant stretch to them, but that often leads to unfortunate bagginess in the butt and knees. I think slightly looser straight, boyfriend, or girlfriend jeans might be more flattering. I know many women love their skinny jeans and they should certainly continue to rock them if they do. I’m just pointing out that if you’re someone who wears them to be on-trend then you might want to try a different fit and find ones you love, then go rock those. I also love the blue suede loafers!
I’ve been subscribed to your emails for almost a year and love what you have to offer and how accessible you are. Keep up your inspirational writings and posts!
Hi Tania. What a great, bright outfit. The colors pop, especially with the white slacks. I went online and bought the tunic you modeled yesterday. It is so pretty and versatile. I found your makeup vides on YouTube. They are terrific. I enjoyed the 5 minute makeup video and will probably use the techniques frequently. Enjoy your new home. It is beautiful. I do think exterior shutters would add to the curb appeal.
Janus, I forgot about those videos even being on YouTube. I haven’t done any videos in a long time.
I like the white jeans – it makes the colors if the top & sweater pop. Last year I was on the hunt for white jeans – I can’t tell you how mant pairs I ordered & sent back! I did keep one & then I never wore them – lol.
Beth, I have become a white wearer. I was like you, never wore them, and now I can’t get enough.
I love the white jeans. I have been an email subscriber for a long time. Probably over 4 years. You used to do a lot of posts where you shopped your closet and made us think about ways to put together an outfit with items we may already own. I really enjoyed those posts. Have a good hump day!
Joy, I still want you to do the same with any of my posts. It doesn’t matter that my shirt, cardigan, or jeans are new. You should just take them as examples and pull something similar from your own closet.
I have been an email subscriber for about 2 months
So enjoy your blog. First thing I look at in my emails each morning.
If too cold out for photo shoot, maybe do one in your home. Would be something a little different.
Would love to win so.ething. Thank you for all your ideas.
Joyce, I am going to have to figure something out, the weather isn’t letting up any time soon. The problem with the house is the lighting.
I am a brand new subscriber and always love your colorful and uplifting posts! I love how you layered the Target T-shirt with the cardigan. Looks fabulous, and that purse from Talbots goes so well with everything! My spirits are lifted even thinking about Spring!
Welcome, Denise!!! Bright colors always lift my spirits.
I Love the bright colors with the white jeans, it makes you go, WoW!!
Also, can you elaborate on your eating/exercise routine, you look Great !!!
Julie, I have cut out sweets, and I am only drinking water and black coffee. I “try” to follow intermittent fasting, but if I mess up, I just start again tomorrow.
I like both outfits! I am drawn to white pants though because even though I’m a little bit bigger, my husband says I look great in white pants. And I do feel slimmer when I wear them! I’m so glad I found your posts through Pinterest! I enjoy them.
I love wearing things that Joe likes. He will compliment me and I will beam. Lol!
I like both looks equally! The white pants give it a dressier look, more casual with the jeans. You look really good in the bright colors! I have subscribed to your blog for probably about 3 years. Look forward to it every day!
Karen, you are still a newbie then. Welcome!!!
