Instead of a this or that post, we are having these or those posts. I recently did a try-on haul from JCrew Factory, and there are too many outfits for just this or that. JCrew Factory is one of my favorite online brands to shop from, and this was the first time that I had seen a store. This is a long post, so let’s get started.
Since today is St. Patrick’s Day, I thought this Lucky Clover Graphic Tee was appropriate. I love JCrew Factory tees, and they have so many cute graphic tees to choose from. I get asked a lot about where to buy good t-shirts from, and I usually send them to JCrew Factory. The quality is good, the pricing is good, and they wash up really well. I’m wearing a large, and it fits me nicely. I like my t-shirts to be a little loose and not show any rolls that I’d rather you not know about.
I thought the socks were adorable, but they aren’t on the website. However, there are lots of other prints that are cute, and I like this no-show version.
Here is the view from the back. The t-shirt is long enough to tuck in, but not so long that you can’t wear it untucked also. The jeans are listed down below.
This is a cute summer uniform for me; shorts, a lightweight sweater, and sneakers. I love a v-neck cardigan; it seems like those are harder to find than a crewneck. So, when you can’t find a v-neck, you improvise and create one as I did with this Classic Cotton Navy Cardigan. I paired the cardigan with a pair of 9″ Chino Bermuda Shorts, and I love the look! I was afraid that the 9″ shorts would look too long and frumpy, instead, I love the look. It is casual, modest, and still cute as a button. I’m wearing a 10 in the shorts and a large cardigan.
Both of these items come in lots of different colors, so be sure to check them out. BTW, the size 10 fits me fine, but I will size down to an 8 in any color other than white. I usually size up when wearing white so that the item isn’t see-through, but these shorts were thick enough that I didn’t need to with them.
These Gingham Sneakers are adorable!!! I love the happy, summery print, and they look crisp and clean. I thought they ran a tad big, so I would need an 8 1/2 instead of a 9. If you are between sizes, then I suggest going with the smaller size. The sneakers are on sale, and they have a couple of different colors and prints.
Here you can see how I didn’t turn the Classic Cotton Navy Cardigan into a v-neck. I unbuttoned a few buttons to show some skin but left it buttoned the rest of the way down.
These High-Rise Girlfriend Chinos are unique and I am surprised that I like the look. I wasn’t sure about wearing polka dots on my pants, but pairing them with the Navy Cardigan created a classic look that I would wear. This is a playful look and a little bit on the whimsical side. For some reason, that description seems to resonate with me. Lol! I’m wearing a size 10, but I should have gotten an 8. They are girlfriend pants, and the girlfriend style is always a little roomier than regular styles.
I love this look also. It is a casual look, but it looks put together. This outfit looks like you put some thought into what you are wearing even though it is simple. The Striped Girlfriend Crewneck Tee has a nautical look, a French woman look, and a fresh look for Spring and Summer. You will find so many ways to wear this navy and white striped tee, and I see pairing it with all kinds of shorts and jeans.
I’m wearing a large tee, that is the size I normally choose for tees since I don’t want anything to fit me too tightly. I added the same cardigan as the navy one above, but this is in the color called Modern Clover.
The jeans that I am wearing are high-rise, and these are the Classic Vintage Jeans style. These are relaxed but not loose, so I like that, and I love the straight legs. These jeans also come in a light wash, which I especially love wearing in the summer months. I’m wearing a 30, but I should have sized down to a 29. I’m having trouble figuring out my sizes since I lost some weight. Lol!
These Canvas Slip-On Sneakers are great for any summer outfit. I can see wearing these with a cute dress, shorts, jeans, etc. This is a pair that you will get a lot of wear with this Spring and Summer. I’m wearing my usual size 9, but they are too big for me. I have the 8 1/2 on order to see if those will work. These are on sale and are less than $35, so I won’t be worrying if they get dirty.
The last outfit might be my favorite, and that’s saying a lot since I love all of these outfits. This Crinkle Puff Sleeve top has an adorable flower and vine print, and I love the pop of cobalt blue. This top is feminine looking, but not girlie looking. The slight puff sleeve is trending, so this will be perfect for this Spring and Summer. The top comes in two other styles, and I love them both. You will want to check those out as well. One is a Geranium and Ivory print, and the other is Chambray. I’m wearing a medium, and the fit is perfect.
Here is the length of the shirt from the back. I guess you can see that the jeans are a size 30. Lol! These Flare Crop White Jeans are my favorite! I love the style, especially since the flare isn’t wide. The cropped length is perfect for wearing with flats or platform shoes, and the raw hem gives the jeans a “relaxed” look. I left the store without these jeans, but I bought them as soon as I got home and looked at the pictures. I’ll be wearing these jeans all summer!!!
