THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE

50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEI bet you are shocked to see me wearing red today. Lol! I just couldn’t help myself, I have been waiting and waiting to wear these “love” leggings, and I couldn’t wait any longer. I really like Valentine’s Day and I have been trying to pinpoint the reason why. It’s not for any present (I buy my own), it’s not for the candy, and it’s not going out for a nice meal out. I think it is because of Valentine’s cards that we used to exchange when we were kids in school. 50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEDo you remember making a box to put your cards in? They were just simple little shoe boxes decorated with drawings and glued on hearts and doilies. Now with Pinterest, to get ideas from, you should see some of the elaborate boxes that these kids have. It is CRAZY!!! I am glad that when my kids were young I didn’t have to stay up half the night and “craft” a box for their cards. Hahaha! I have been crafty back in my younger days but now I am just too lazy to put forth the extra effort. Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE The Susan Graver red cowl neck tunic that I have on is a recent purchase at the overstock store in town. I couldn’t help myself, they were having a 1/2 price sale on clothing and on their Marc Fisher shoes. I left there with 3 pairs of boots and 8 tops for a whopping 108.00 and that included taxes. Do you remember the commercial where the lady said, “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful?” Instead of that, I say, “don’t hate me because I have an overstock store in town!!!”  50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE Can you miss the Paige bracelet that I have on? This thing is really big and it is very heavy duty. Can you believe it is only 18.00??? If you are friends with me on Facebook then you know I gave one of these bracelets away a couple of days ago. Go here to send me a friend request.  50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE This is a new necklace that I have on today. I just got it in the mail and I couldn’t wait to put it on. I never ordered this necklace before because in the catalog and online the “drop” looked like it was a large pearl. When I found out it was a large crystal I immediately ordered it. I love crystals especially if the sun shines on them, you will a rainbow of sparkles. This is called the Kallie. Look at the picture on this link and tell me if you think it looked like a pearl too.

Texas, Alaska, Georgia, Oregon, Kansas, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee, Minnesota, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Mississippi, and Florida. Don’t forget Wisconsin, we just added that state Tuesday!!! What do all of these state have in common? Each one of these states has a Plunder team member in them. That means that there are still a whole lot of states that need to be represented.

Joining Plunder is 99.00. That includes the normal 10 pieces of jewelry plus catalogs, invoices, business cards, etc. During the month of January, Plunder is including the three extra pieces. Time is running out for this wonderful opportunity. To signup go to www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens and hit the Become A Stylist button. You can be a part of Team Shimmer and Shine ?

50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE These leggings are a pair of the 10.00 bunch that I bought at the craft fair I helped with back in November. The brand is Itzon and all the words are supposed to say “love” in other languages. The black booties are a pair of the 1/2 price Marc Fishers that I bought. I liked the stacked heel which is very popular now. I’m sorry that the picture is blurry, I think I need to take the lens off and clean inside the camera. I don’t want to……

50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEI don’t have a purse with me today. I know I carried one but I must have left it in the house. I am sure you could pick out a purse. Did you notice my hair? I curled it by using my straightener. Lol! That is an oxymoron. When you use a straightener and pull it through your hair VERY SLOW it will make the hair curl. You might want to practice this a couple of times. There is a small learning curve involved with this. I would hate for you to look crazy on your Valentine’s date night.
50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVEIf you remember I did a post the other day where I said I would give away 4 mini Rodan and Fields eye-creams. The response was unreal!! I am amazed at how many of you have not heard of or tried these products. I guess that is because I know so many people who use the products plus sell them. However, my friend Casey shared this information with me and I thought I would pass it along to you.

U.S. population: Over 324 Million

Canadian Population: Over 36 Million

Australian Population: Over 24 Million

Total Rodan + Fields Consultants actively working the business and earning a paycheck: 43,000

That’s IT. The reality of this business is that we haven’t even scratched the surface. These are the same doctors that created a BILLION DOLLAR brand with Proactiv and now they’re doing it with Rodan + Fields – except this time we get to share in the profits!

I would have sworn there were at least a couple million of us out there, I see it ALL the time on Facebook. Lol! However, this is the reality, there really aren’t that many of us. If you would like to hear more about this opportunity just let me know. 50 IS NOT OLD | THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE The winners of the free mini-eye creams will be getting an email from me sometime today. Here are the winners: Jerrie, Vicki Chunn, thisblondesshoppngbag, and Jeanne. Congratulations gurls!!!

This was such a big hit that I may do one of these giveaways monthly. What do you think about that?

  1. Love your hair curled like this and the Leggings <3

  2. Love the “straightened” hair, very becoming on you.

  3. I’m with you, Tania. There are well over 10 R + F consultants in my tiny town, and that’s just the ones I know. I guess pockets form where there’s one consultant because they recruit others. I know that and LipSense are taking over my Facebook.

    1. Bonnie, there are 7 consultants in my town of only around 2500 or so people. Amazingly though we all have different friends. I too can sell LipSense, but I dont advertise that. I only signed up for my own personal use.

Tania, I for real LOVE this outfit! Red is such a great color on you. And that turtleneck tunic is amazing. Not to mention how adorable the leggings are. And your necklace and bracelet are magnificent! Really great look!

    Tania,

I have some questions about Plunder, what comes in the starter kit, I see the kit online but can’t really tell what pieces are included?, commission on sales?, monthly quota to stay active? do you pay for your website? and anything else you can share. Thanks a bunch

    1. Frances, I will email you a picture of the kit because I can’t figure out how to upload it in the comments. However, I can answer the other questions. Commissions start at 20% and go up as you develop your team. There is no monthly quota but the website fee is 10.00 monthly, so you would want to order enough to cover that. Plunder is a wonderful company, very encouraging and up lifting.

  6. I love your hair like this. And to shock us, you have to do better! Lol. Have a happy Wednesday!

  7. Very jealous of your overstock store!

  8. Love the outfit and love the curl in your hair! We would love to see another hair video on how to curl hair with flatiron.

I just got a pair of Valentine’s leggings from LuLaRoe. I wasn’t sure how I was going to wear them, so thanks for the inspirations, Tania!!
I was thinking I’d give them to my stepmom (the 60’s model on my blog) but I’m not sure she’d be so into them. Will you still wear them in your 60’s???

    1. My mom would wear them, Jodie, and she is in her 70’s.
