The Best Plus Size Tops for Fall
I started doing two posts per day on the blog as a way to share more information and cover topics I normally wouldn’t get to talk about. Petite and Plus-size clothing were two of the things I wanted to showcase. I’m not Plus size, but I still try to pick clothing that I think I would wear if I was. So, today I’m sharing the best plus-size tops for fall. And, since so many people wanted to know about my fall wreath, here is where I purchased that.
The Best Plus Size Tops for Fall From Nordstrom
This faux wrap top is so pretty! It just screams FALL to me. All this model needs is a pumpkin spice latte in her hand, lol. I think the floral is perfect, but if you’re not a fan, it comes in black, navy, and burgundy.
Oooooh, I LOVE cashmere. This cobalt blue is on trend and the v-neck is very flattering. I think this color is to die for, but if you’re not a fan you’ll be happy to know that it’s also available in black, brown, and a gorgeous magenta as well.
The Best Plus Size Tops for Fall from Lane Bryant
You know how I love a shirt with great details and this blouse is full of them! I like all of it – the subtle dot fabric, the ruffle across the yoke and the peek-a-boo lace on the sleeves. This would be a great shirt to wear all season long either by itself, or as a base layer.
This is a great polished and professional look! It’s made of a luxe satin fabric and I like the tie – very on trend. The description adds that the buttons are hidden in the placket so that it doesn’t pull or gap along the top, nice! This would be great for a work occasion or even paired with jeans to elevate a casual look.
Look at these beautiful flutter sleeves! This would be gorgeous for the holidays with a statement necklace and a nice pair of pants. I like the dramatic mock neck and the side slits. It’s very feminine. Black is always a classic but it also comes in red.

This shirt is a beautiful way to incorporate the trending color yellow into your wardrobe. I’ve always been a fan of bright colors as a way to brighten my mood and it would be hard to be down wearing this. The sleeves are rolled up in this photo, but it has a nice, button cuff. This would look great with jeans or over leggings.
The official color of this sweater is Jadeite but I’m old school so I’ll call it Hunter Green. Whatever you call it, it’s one of my favorites for fall. I love a good v-neck but the folded collar on this sweater really elevates it. It looks very expensive but is a reasonable $79 dollars and is available up to 4X.
I think a square neckline is one of the most flattering and sexiest neckline of all. I love this pretty paisly print. (Say that three times, lol.) Did you notice the ruffle on the cuff? It’s all about the details! If you’re not a fan of the print, it also comes in navy and purple.
The Best Plus Size Tops for Fall from Amazon
This blouse is so pretty! Even though it’s billed as satin/silk it’s actually 100% polyester and machine washable. I love the magenta but it comes in eight others. The reviews are very positive but everyone says it runs large. It is available in sizes up to 2XL and is only $29 dollars! This would be a beautiful top to wear this fall with a nice pice pair of black pants and some heels.
Oh, how I love these sleeves! This is a great example of a shirt that can be dressed up or worn casually. Paired with jeans like in the photo and it’s great for a football game or sitting on the patio eating appetizers with friends. Wear it with a pretty pleated skirt and you’ve got a great date night look! Available to 2 XL and just $21 dollars.

I agree with Kathy. I usually wear a large or xl, but I frequently find great deals in the plus size department that run small. The green top is so cute.
I’ve always thought the plus size clothes at my local Walmart are more attractive than the regular sizes. In some stores the plus sizes are more attractive and modern than the petite section. I went with a friend of mine shopping for her sister at Lane Bryant many years ago. I thought they had a lot of cute things. We are both small women so the look on the sales clerk was funny.
