The Eyebrow Products I Use – Revlon Eyebrow Pencil and MERIT Brow 1980

MERIT Brow 1980 (Light Brown) | Revlon ColorStay Eyebrow Pencil with Spoolie Brush (205 Blonde)

I’ve always heard that your eyebrows “frame” your face. Well, my frames are pretty pitiful and hard to see if I don’t use a few eyebrow products. These are my tried and true, everyday go-to eyebrow items. Even though I try a lot of other products, I keep finding myself going back to what I know works.

I’ve been using the Revlon ColorStay Eyebrow Pencil with Spoolie Brush for several years. I like the thicker pencil that covers more area and glides on. MERIT Brow 1980 is a newer product I added a couple of months ago, and I’m liking the results it gives me. I’ve been using the light brown shade, but I ordered Taupe to see if I’ll like it any better.

While these are the products I use, I want to show you lots of products and options. For this, I rely on research, word of mouth, and reviews, so here are the other nine products that stood out to me.

Trestique Brow Pencil and Gel – 2-in-1

Now this one is smart, Gurl! It’s a pencil and gel combo in one handy, refillable tube, and it’s part of a clean beauty line. The angled pencil gives you control to fill in sparse areas, while the clear gel keeps those little hairs in place all day. I love how it cuts down on clutter in your makeup bag—Joe would be thrilled if I didn’t leave so many tubes on the bathroom counter, ha! It’s also sustainable, which is a nice bonus.

iMethod Eyebrow Pen – 4-Fork Tip & Brush

If you want that microbladed look without the commitment (or pain!), this is your girl. The 4-fork tip draws hair-like strokes that look super natural, and the brush end helps blend it all together. It lasts all day, even through those hot flashes or Easter egg hunts with the grandkids! This one’s great for creating shape and fullness without going overboard.

e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil – 2-Pack

This is a budget-friendly beauty! You get two pencils that are dual-ended with a spoolie on one side to brush and blend. The pencil glides on smoothly and gives just enough color without making your brows look too bold. Great if you’re just getting started with filling in or want something simple and quick for every day. And it’s vegan and cruelty-free, which is a win for the animals!

e.l.f. Wow Brow Gel – Neutral Brown

Need volume? This brow gel gives you that soft, full look with tiny fibers that build your brows up. It’s a wax-gel hybrid, so it holds things in place without feeling crunchy. This is great for those of us with lighter or thinning brows who just want a little oomph. I’d use this on days when you’re doing a “no makeup” makeup look—just a swipe and go!

NYX Micro Brow Pencil – Ash Brown

This pencil is super precise, which makes it perfect for detailing and drawing individual hairs. It’s great for filling in sparse spots without looking too filled in. The ash brown shade is a dream if your hair is silver or cool-toned—it won’t pull too warm. It’s got over 60,000 reviews, and I see why! Easy to throw in your cart and keep in your makeup bag.

VieBeauti Eyebrow Growth Serum

Okay, if you’re dealing with thinning brows and want to grow them back, this one’s for you. This serum helps boost longer, fuller, thicker-looking eyebrows over time. Just apply it at night and let it do the work while you sleep. I wish I had this when I over-plucked in the ‘90s!

L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer – Brunette

Here’s a version that is super fine and great for mimicking natural hair. It’s waterproof too, which makes it great for long days or humid weather. The color goes on soft and blends easily, and it’s perfect for more mature skin that needs something gentle. If you need something dependable that won’t smudge, toss this in your cart.

NYX The Brow Glue – Clear

If your brow hairs have a mind of their own, Gurl, this stuff is like magic. It gives extreme hold without making them feel stiff. Brush it on, and your brows stay put all day. There will be no flaking or mess. I’d use this after filling in for that final touch that locks everything in place. It’s clear, so it works with any pencil or powder you use.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

This one is a cult classic for a reason! The ultra-slim tip lets you create detailed, professional-quality brows. It’s perfect for outlining and adding definition without looking harsh. If you want that clean, lifted look, this is a must. It’s a little pricier, but you only need a light hand—this baby lasts. I’d say this is the little black dress of brow products!

Alright, that’s my list of The Best Eyebrow Products for Women Over 50! Whether you’re a brow beginner or a seasoned pro, these picks will help you shape, define, and fluff your brows like a beauty queen. With the right product, your brows can bring structure to your whole face—and maybe even take a few years off! Let me know what you’re loving or adding to your cart. And remember: full brows, full life! Ha!
